We had a wonderful time in Shanghai thanks to this homestay. The host is very friendly and gave us detailed instructions, the position was 10/10 and only 10 minutes from the metro station. The apartament was clean, had a great view and it was both clean and comfortable.
We look foreward to book with yidu again!

The air conditoned apartment was a good shelter from the summer heat in August for our family of 4. We found the location convenient close to subway line 2 with stops at Jing'An temple, Nanjing Road and People Square. We got in contact before with the owner via Wechat and he communicates fluently in English. He granted us a a free upgrade to a three bedroom apartment but unfortunately without the view on Oriental Pearl Tower. Upon our arrival we got to check-in 2 hours early, which was much appreciated after a long-haul flight. There are many possibilities to store your luggage in the subway but it's quite a hassle as a first time traveller in China.

It was clean and the location was great, but the towels were so dusty that it was difficult. Every time I washed, dust would stick to my body.
Also, I requested a pick-up and drop-off through the landlord, and although we clearly stated there were seven of us, a five-seater car came, which was a bit of a hassle.
When I contacted the landlord, all he said was an apology...ㅎ
When we went to the airport, he said there weren't any seven-seater cars, so I told him to take a five-seater, so I don't blame him.
As for the accommodation itself, it was clean, spacious, and nice!
