The hotel is located next to the maglev station (8-minute express from PVG) and above the metro station, so the location is excellent if you need a place to stay and do some short sightseeing during a long connection (which was our case). However, it was not easy to find it. A policeman at the maglev station gave me directions, but there were no easy-to-recognize signs, at least not for those who cannot read Chinese. Also, the picture of the hotel entrance on Trip.com was not up-to-date. So, we had to make a half-round about the building before we found the right entrance. First offered room had a strong tobacco smoke smell despite the ”non-smoking” sign. So, we asked to change the room. The receptionist was very polite and friendly. He immediately offered us another room, which was only slightly better, but there was no smoke smell. We decided to accept the room (it was almost midnight). There was a small window in the room, which we decided to keep closed due to the smell and dust deposits on the mosquito net. The bathroom had glass walls and a door without a lock, which could not be closed tightly, and all sounds and smells could escape to the room. Also, the hinges were very creaky, so it was impossible not to wake up the whole hotel floor if you wanted to pee in the night. The bedding and towels were good, clean, and fresh, except for one bath towel, which was clean but very old and even had a couple of holes in it. Generally, the hotel was OK for its price. There were beds, pillows and blankets, a warm shower, and privacy which you can't get in an airport departure hall. However, if it happened to me again to have a long connection at Shanghai Airport, I would consider staying somewhere else.

Perfect choice! The hotel is conveniently located near Dapuqiao, just a short walk from the subway station and shopping malls. There's also a hospital nearby, which is really handy in case of an emergency. The room was spotless, and the facilities were all we needed. Having a fridge and microwave was a huge plus. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they even allowed us to have a late check-out until 3 PM! This was incredibly helpful for those of us who wanted to get some extra rest.

We arrived at 2am in the morning and the hotel allowed us to check-in late. We just slept for a few hours as we have a bullet train to catch at 6am. The room is not big but we were able to open our big luggage in the floor. The staff was also very helpful in carrying our luggages as there was no lift available. I appreciate the assistance he gave. What I just don’t like with the hotel was the smell of cigarettes in the corridors. It was so strong. And when we entered the hotel room, even though it is a non smoking room, the smell of the cigarettes is still noticeable. Maybe it was from the exhaust. If you’d like to sleep only to prepare for a train ride in Shanghai Railway Station this place is ok for its price. It was near the railway station, just a 15 min ride.

It's a surprise that the room at this pudding hotel is really nice. The space is large, the bed is big, and the color is warm. The front desk guy is kind, patient, enthusiastic, and the service is thoughtful😊

The front desk service was very friendly and they upgraded the room for free, which was great. The hotel is very close to the station and a few minutes' walk away. It is also very convenient to take the Hongqiao Line 2. The environment is okay, clean and basic facilities are complete, making it convenient to travel.

The room is big, clean and hygienic, the transportation is convenient, there is a takeaway cabinet and express cabinet downstairs, takeaways are guaranteed, I like it very much, I will come here again next time

The hotel is located above the Construction Bank. The room is very clean and tidy. Two bottles of water are provided every day. There are supermarkets and snack bars downstairs. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and the air conditioning is also very powerful.

I stayed in this hotel in the old city for two days in Shanghai. Although it is a bit old, it is close to the subway station and convenient to get in and out. There is food downstairs. The price of more than 100 yuan is worth it.

The boss is super nice. My dad couldn't sit for a long time, so he booked a room for an hour while waiting for hospitalization. He couldn't go up and down the stairs due to mobility problems, so the boss helped carry my dad downstairs. I really appreciate it. Thank you~
