"I had an excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated how attentive and friendly everyone was throughout my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were high quality, and I slept better here than I do at home! Small details, like complimentary water, good lighting, and thoughtful amenities, made a big difference. The location is perfect—close to everything I wanted to see, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfort, and convenience makes it a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. I’ll absolutely stay here again on my next trip!"

"Good location not far from centre of Cardiff. Service was poor, receptionists seemed like they didn’t want to be working there and breakfast staff like their family had just died. That said the breakfast was good quality and the room was good. Needed some cobwebs removed and mould cleaned from bathroom"

"Staying at the Parkgate Hotel was an excellent experience, I have stayed at other hotels in Cardiff City Centre before and previously always been a bit disappointed, however this hotel is classy right from the moment you walk through the doors. Check-in was very smooth. The room beautifully clean and well appointed with all of the things that you require. The breakfast was excellent and checkout was very smooth. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, well done!"

"I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay."

"Hotel was lovely, great location really great staff. Restaurant was fabulous as was the Browns bar & staff. Unfortunately our aircon was ineffective and when reported to reception no engineers to review/fix and we ended up with 2 small fans in the room 🥺🥺. Safe to say our sleep was awful, the room was so hot and stuffy reaching temperatures in excess of 29 degrees (air con was set to 18). It would have been more cooler to sleep in the corridor 😟😟😟. So whilst this hotel was beautiful this issue certainly affected the quality of our stay."

"Stayed at this hotel for five days the beds was very comfortable. Rooms are very clean. Waitrose and Lidl‘s two minute walk regular buses into Cardiff. Breakfast available at the hotel. Staff are absolutely lovely and always ready to help. She’s a very friendly hotel with country walks nearby rooms have bath with a shower always hot water available me and my husband had a very comfortable pleasant stay well definitely return the hotel is more of a motel but would not hesitate recommending as you have everything you need the rooms are basic but do you have a kettle tea and coffee supplied clean towels extremely comfortable bed and the rooms are clean staff are very welcoming and friendly"

"The location is super convenient, within walking distance to many famous attractions, and transportation is also very accessible. Plus, the decor is unique, the environment is fresh and very clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly, making it very comfortable. Highly recommended!!!"

"The hotel is very close to the castle, town hall, museums and other attractions. It is very convenient to go shopping and dining on the pedestrian street. The most outstanding thing is that the breakfast is very rich and there are many kinds of fruits, so the cost performance is relatively high"
