"We stayed for several consecutive nights at this 5-star hotel.
**Location:** Situated right by Plaza de España, this hotel boasts a prime city-center location. It's an easy walk to downtown shopping areas, and the Royal Palace of Madrid is just a 10-minute stroll away. You'll also find several Chinese restaurants nearby, including a fantastic Sichuan spot called 'Hammer Sichuan Cuisine', plus convenient supermarkets.
**Room Size:** For European standards, the room was quite spacious, though it felt a bit small compared to an apartment. For three guests, one bed is a sofa bed. The room layout was well-designed, with the bathroom completely separate from the sleeping area, which was great as it meant one person could use it without disturbing the other.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast spread was quite generous, served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Unfortunately, we had an early flight on our last day and missed out on breakfast.
**Service:** Toiletries and disposable slippers were provided. However, for a 5-star hotel, the service left something to be desired. During our multi-night stay, toothbrushes were only replenished on the first day, and we had to ask for them subsequently. Furthermore, on three separate occasions, staff knocked on our door by mistake, attempting to deliver items to the wrong room. These issues definitely detracted from the overall experience."
