"The hotel is a 300-year-old castle. The owner also lives in the castle and takes care of several rooms himself. The owner was very hospitable. We arrived late on the day of check-in. The owner recommended and booked a nearby Chinese restaurant for dinner. The breakfast the next day was also prepared by the owner himself, rich and warm. Many ingredients are taken from their own or nearby farms, apples, honey, various berries, and butter cakes baked by the owner. After breakfast, sit in the living room and there are peacocks outside the window. Braving the drizzle, strolling through the castle manor, the peacock family opened the way ahead. Very comfortable and special experience. Booked two room types, one overlooking Mount Saint Michel."

"Entering the hotel through the restaurant on the main street. Clean rooms, tired furniture, but whole, nothing collapses. Everything is modest. The hotel is suitable for those who want to look at the evening tide and quietly, not going anywhere - for the morning. The view from the hotel window does not allow it especially, but you can go out and walk a few minutes to the walls. From the accommodation plus - you will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening of Mon St Michele without other tourists. In the evening, all the monumental and asceticity of this place is felt."
"It is a very rare experience to be able to stay overnight on the island. There is no elevator and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase.
The sheets and rooms were clean.
There were numerous small insects by the window. Breakfast was simple western food, but fine. The cheese and prosciutto ham were delicious.
The staff was friendly and helpful with smiles for directions and cab arrangements."
"This place is in a really good location and easy to find. Travel light though as there are no lifts and narrow staircases to carry your luggage. As most old places in Europe there is no air conditioning, so be prepared. You needed to step over the bath to shower so take that into consideration too. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator, bonus in Europe. The restaurant has a good menu and drink selection. English is spoken, if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
"Hotel in Mont Saint Michel island.
The location is very good in 1.2 minutes walk from the entrance.
On this trip, I had to leave this hotel at AM6 and I had a very good response.
Arrange shuttle bus to the outside of Sakai Island
Taxi arrangement from outside Sakai Island to Granville station
Breakfast is prepared despite the breakfast time
He wrote the flow of the day on paper and told me to respond best.
The receptionist felt a little old, but the room was clean and there was no place to feel dissatisfied.
Because it was early in the morning, it was not possible to see the morning tan of Mont Saint Michel, but it was possible to enjoy the quiet cityscape at night.
Recommended hotel if you are considering it in the future."
"The hotel is well located at the entrance to the city of Mont Saint-Michel, but don't expect to see a surprising view of either the bay or the abbey. There are the roofs of the buildings that surround it that block the view.
The room is quite spacious and well appointed. The bathroom has a corner bath, but no window. The beds and furniture are clean, but I was unpleasantly surprised to see the state of the window sills and frames blackened with dirt. I wanted to put my phone there to make a video of the sunrise but I was quickly challenged by the state of the windows.
The hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. Therefore, not suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility.
There was enough choice for breakfast and the girl who served us was very nice. There were just some products (pain au chocolat, for example) that were not replenished. It was not yet the end of the service, however.
We wanted to eat at the restaurant but the reservation is full. Surprisingly, passing there at the start and middle of service, a lot of tables are empty but we were refused access and sent to the restaurant of the nearby inn."
"It was an incredible experience to be able to stay in a house like this cute fairy tale for about 40,000 yen with a family!
It makes me feel like I bought a house in France.
The garden is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities (soap, coffee, tea, hair dryer, towels, etc.). Staff was also kind and it was a very comfortable stay.
The only thing that was unfortunate was that the radio waves were too weak to connect to Wi-Fi. However, the staff did their best to connect to free radio waves and it wasn't a big problem because I have an eSIM. The problem is my father. I wonder why I have to bring work to my travel destination in the first place, and I was frustrated that I couldn't use my PC and couldn't work even though I could do as much as I could. So please come after you clean up your work.
Then you can have a really nice experience. I didn't have time to hate and I couldn't have an elegant experience of having breakfast on a nice terrace. But it was a nice inn that I would like to come back again for that experience!
It's not a place to travel easily from the location of the city, but I think Japanese people especially love this place. It's an atmosphere and scenery that is absolutely unavailable in Japan ... I could understand why overseas people want to stay in traditional Japanese houses. It is the feeling that everyone wants to know and the feeling that I want to keep secret forever 々.
The number of beds is also sufficient, and the toilet and shower room are separated!"
