Booked this last minute and pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. Staff are friendly and my room was immaculate! Looked like it had just been refurbished. I was really lucky. When all the flights were cancelled due to a strike in Belgium, I was able to stay in a place that felt just like home. It was like the old houses I had read about in fairy tales. As soon as I stepped inside, I was amazed. The layout was really unique. I had to climb two flights of stairs to reach my room, and it truly felt like I was on my way to a princess's room in a fairyland. When I got to the door of my room, I never expected it to be a tall double door. I felt as if I was entering a palace. The room was spacious, and it had a fireplace that I had always dreamed of. The door lock used an old-fashioned key, just like the kind that many people wear as a decoration around their necks. For someone like me who is used to living in reinforced concrete buildings and taking the elevator every day, this experience was truly like a fairy tale. Although this place wasn't perfect, perhaps the old houses in fairy tales are all like this, aren't they? The experience here was really special.

My favorite hotel in Brussels so far. Good location with many restaurants, convenient stores, shops etc. Friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and spacious. Good breakfast. Everything was perfect during the stay! Would definitely recommend this place!

Great location, you can reach everything on foot and the hotel has been completely renovated and is no longer like the pictures. Unfortunately we were missing some air conditioning or ventilation because it was very warm and stuffy inside the hotel. Otherwise it is very loud at night if you sleep with the window open. The facilities and service were nice 😻
