Romantic Hotels in Wuyishan

Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The room was spacious, bright, clean, and incredibly well-equipped. They thought of everything: iodine cotton swabs, band-aids, hair ties, clips, essential oils, insect repellent, snacks, tea bags, and even various emergency medicines. The attention to detail in their service was truly touching. Plus, there's a free massage chair, which was a very thoughtful touch. The food at their own restaurant was delicious and great value for money. And their two cats, Zhaocai and Jinbao, are super cute! This was an unforgettable experience. I'll definitely choose Dafangju again on my next visit and recommend it to my friends. Wishing the owners great success and prosperity!

I come here every year, and I never get tired of it. A visit here every now and then is the best way for me to recharge. Friends I've introduced to this place also say it rivals 5-star hotels. The most attractive feature of the resort is its tea plantations, small bridges, and flowing streams, all located within the estate. Last year, I tried other hotels nearby that claimed to offer tea mountain views, but their scenic spots were actually outside the property. Jiaye, on the other hand, is a genuine ecological haven that truly integrates an estate, tea mountains, and forest trails. Another point is that this place isn't like typical guesthouses; it's a well-managed operation with comprehensive hardware, software, and facilities. Most of the staff at the resort appear to be locals – they are simple, enthusiastic, and kind. They have a strong service ethic, perform their duties diligently, and the staffing is excellent. Finally, I must highly praise the chef at the restaurant here. You can enjoy authentic local dishes, and every single one is incredibly delicious! I look forward to coming back every year just to eat here, and the prices are affordable. We had all three meals at the estate, so there was no need to venture out for food. I will definitely return. This is a hidden gem of an estate, and I hope it continues to operate for a long time.

The owner and his staff were really friendly. He also provided assistance, information and tips for the scenic attractions. His photography work is displayed in his home stay and also on the tv of the complementary Wuyishan bus service. It’s in a natural surrounding so expect one or two insects to come by. Breakfast is simple — I (and a passing wasp) love the tea eggs so much I bought extra for lunch and dinner. They sell Dahongpao ice cream too and it’s cheaper for guests compared to the ones outside. He also sells tea leaves. And I bought some because the taste of the samplers were good. The only gripe I have is with the shower — water pressure is not good but that’s not the location’s fault. It took a while for me to finally turn the knob to the magic spot where water temperature is just right — not too cold and not too hot. But hey, I’m paying to stay smack in the middle of the scenic area.

Our stay was excellent. First off, the staff were incredibly professional and enthusiastic. They called proactively before check-in to understand our needs and even upgraded our room based on that. During housekeeping, they were observant and anticipated our needs, for instance, proactively providing laundry detergent and cable ties. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the Wuyishan scenic area with convenient transport, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was quiet, offering a stunning panoramic view of Dawang Peak.

Stayed for two nights, the experience was very good. The front desk contacted me by phone as soon as I placed the order, and immediately created a service group for us to provide various travel service consultations. Parking is convenient in front of the store, and they came to greet us as soon as we got off the car. It is also convenient to travel. It is also close to Nanlukou and Impression Dahongpao. The scenery of the tea mountain next to it is also very beautiful. By the way, the boss's tea factory is at the end of the tea garden. I heard that it was renovated at the end of last year and you can visit it for free. The boss's wife will take us to understand the production process of Wuyi Rock Tea and exchange tea tasting. It added a lot of color to our trip to Wuyi Mountain.

We stayed at a two bedroom & three bedroom apartments. It’s completely new, built in 2023. Everything looks so chic. Small kitchen in each room; laundry room, gym in the building. The whole resort nests in a well landscaped area, river by the side with beautiful mountain view. The walkway in the back along river is great for jogging and morning walks. There are many varieties in breakfast. Definitely a place for family getaway.

Room was comfortably big for 2 with a lot of walking space, and a decent view for tea drinking (doubles as a comfortable table for take-out dinner). Some of the furnishings feel older and/or can be improved, especially the bed headframe (had old worn-out markings) and waterproofing for the shower area (kept leaking out and pooling in the sink area). Though, we did have a good sleep with comfortable bedding. With a ctrip (携程) membership we are also able to access many shows on demand, making it a great way to spend time indoors especially during rainy weather. There is no lift, but props to the front counter for helping to bring our heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor thus saving us a lot of trouble. The best part of this stay is probably its location -- right at the heart of the Wuyishan main tourist area and an easy walk/short bus ride away from the mountain itself.

The room was great, and the stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and genuinely helpful. They even assisted us in planning our itinerary for the next two days, as we had no idea where to go. We're so grateful! The location is perfect, right inside the scenic area, which is super convenient – you'll see what I mean when you get here. The bus stop for the scenic spots is right next door. Loved it! (●♡∀♡)

This was my first time staying at the Wuyishan Villa Holiday Hotel, and my experience was fantastic. Especially the front desk staff, particularly Ms. Wenlian, who was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. The location is also very easy to find; just follow the navigation and you'll arrive directly. There's a large outdoor parking lot and an underground garage, which is very convenient. I'll definitely come back again.
