Had a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID.
On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating.
We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking.
Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

We all so touch by the warm welcome from the hotel staff informing us for upgrading to bigger rooms and helping to bring up some of our luggages to the upper floor rooms, a welcome tea treat tasting.
The hotel help to book car transport to hotel from railway station and ticketing to the night show Impressive Daohongpoa with specialrebat price, and also the ticketing for Wuyishan River Rafting and bus tour within Wuyishan mountain. It make guest peace of mind to tour around Wuyishan.
I will recommend any friend who would like to come to Wuyishan to put a stay at this hotel for expecting the enjoyment that we greatly experience. Thank you so much to the hotel friendliness and helpfulness that it worth more than the price paid for stayed in this hotel.

Stayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space for 2 nights over Christmas and the hospitality we received is top-notch. Every corner of the hotel is an art, especially the lobby area. Love that there is a walking path just behind the hotel and we had good morning walks there.
The hotel pick up service from the train service was excellent, the food at hotel was amazing. We had a welcome tea and learnt alot about Chinese tea while waiting for our room to be ready.
Several spaces to explore within this hotel, and lots to experience. We used their KTV, played a game of GO and had a tea ceremonial class. There’s free bikes for rental if you’d want to cycle at the park behind the hotel. Wanted to try their complimentary hanfu experience but didn’t have the time to do so.
Only downside is that next to the hotel has some renovation ongoing but they aren’t a major blocker since the pros overweigh this con.
Overall, it feels like an experience similar to a Japanese ryokan. Very holistic and cultural. Special shout out to 燕燕 and 舟舟 for their meticulous attention to our needs!

Thanks to Miss Amy and Brother Jason for their warm reception. They added WeChat one day in advance to inquire about the arrival time. They responded to all requests and were very friendly. PS: They also gave us special fruits when we checked out. Thank you🥹Three days and two nights, I feel I haven't had enough fun. The hotel environment is very good. The double bed is 1.35 meters. The family of four lives very comfortably. There is no charge for breakfast because of the extra child (although they can't eat much, but it feels very comfortable). The hotel breakfast basically has local snacks, Zixi powder, Guangbing, filial piety cake... The hotel is in a good location. It takes a few minutes to walk to the Dahongpao performance theater. The walking path behind the hotel is really pleasant, especially after the rain, the family rides bicycles and looks at Dawang Peak up close, and the sea of clouds rises. 🍚It is also convenient to eat. There are many stir-fry restaurants. The hotel is not far from the old street. There are many barbecues in the evening, and there are also bars where you can have a drink. In short, I am very satisfied👍 and will come again next time.

The overall feeling is very comfortable and relaxing!

The breakfast is very rich and good, not worse than a star hotel. It was remodeled from my own villa, and the housekeeper is also the boss himself, and the management service is relaxed. Auntie's sour strips of radishes are my favorite!
Upgraded the panoramic room after check-in, and the check-in design was very thoughtful.

Very good location which is about 1.5 km from south entrance to Wuyishan park and Impressions Dahongpao theatre. We actually walked to there. There’s a MacDonald across the main road opposite the hotel. We came to the hotel from Wuyishan North Station and went to Nanping Station on departure. The hotel is equidistant from both stations. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We also enjoyed their buffet dinner which had a wide spread of Chinese & Western menu, plus a sashimi & sushi counter. Overall, value for money and a pleasant stay.

The bed was made neatly without a wrinkle, there was no peculiar smell in the bathroom, and the toiletries were neatly arranged. The decoration in the room is simple yet cozy, and the warm lighting creates a particularly comfortable atmosphere. Moreover, the room facilities are very complete, whether it is high-speed wireless network or smart devices, they can meet my needs very well. It is so comfortable to lie on the bed and watch a movie.
The hotel's geographical location is also very advantageous, with convenient surrounding transportation, making it very convenient for visiting attractions or finding delicious food. I spent two happy and perfect days here during the May Day holiday. The accommodation environment is very good, the room is fully equipped with automatic facilities, clean and the mattress is comfortable. By the way, I would like to praise our housekeepers: Taozi, Ramen, Xiaoqi, Hebao, Shasha, these are the housekeepers who took care of us during these two days~

The B&B room is bright, clean and new. The facilities are complete. There are smart toilets with smart controls. There are also washing machines, dryers and elevators. It is especially suitable for staying with children. The double tatami can be spliced into a large bed. The child can roll all over the bed without affecting the rest of the parents. There is also a toilet seat and a small stool for the baby to step on, which is very good. It feels like going home. The sharp corners in the room are wrapped, which is really attentive. The breakfast is simple, but the ingredients are fresh, light and sufficient. The boss and his wife are all friendly and enthusiastic people. We will prepare mosquito repellent stickers for the children when we go to the mountains to play. We also gave fruits, eggs and our own tea when we left. The boss lady also gave enthusiastic answers to any questions. The recommended performances are also very distinctive. The proprietress was very enthusiastic. She came out to play alone and came back. She soaked in the lobby every day to drink tea with the proprietress. By the way, the boss has a tea factory, the tea is also very good, the price is very high, the daffodils are very fragrant!

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnonymous UserThe design style of the B&B is pure retro literary style, which makes people feel comfortable and warm. From the lobby to the guest rooms, the entire space is full of texture. There are many room types to choose from. The large floor-to-ceiling windows with mountain views in the viewing rooms are really amazing, huge and comfortable.
The 180-degree view of Dawangfeng, which is right in front of the window, really needs to be experienced in person. Downstairs is the park and the riverside promenade. It is really comfortable to go for a walk in the evening. When you are tired from walking, you can go to the nearby snack street and night market to experience it at any time. Who knows the holiday pleasure of gourmet food and fireworks~

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a prime location, not far from the South Gate and North Gate of Wuyi Mountain, and it is very convenient to visit scenic spots. When checking in, the young man at the hotel front desk was very enthusiastic, upgraded the room, and sent breakfast. The hotel has its own parking lot, but parking at the door is charged. Another young man walked outside the door to tell us the specific location of the hotel parking lot and how to drive there, and told us to come back and walk along the corridor. The hotel room is large, clean and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete, the hot water for bathing is also very good, and two small bags of tea, Dahongpao and Zhengshan Xiaozhong, are sent in the room. The breakfast is also good, you can eat well and eat well, and the restaurant is very beautiful.

AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Iivan khongFantastic hotel. Near to airport. Located a 7yuan taxi ride away frim the town centre but well worth it if you are looking for a nice, secluded, away from city feel. Very nice. A river flows in front and rear of the hotel, nice and quiet. A quaint village is located which you can take a stroll in if you wanna see village life. Very nice picturesque area with an old bridge, great for sunrise pics.
Food is good. Staff very friendly. Willing to recommend restaurants to eat in. Also recommended to take the bamboo raft ride down the 9 bend stream at wuyi shan nature park. Also recommended the Impressions Dahongbao live show, not to be missed.
Hotel General Manager, Angie, helped us a lot. As we barely speak Mandarin, she speaks English and helped us make bookings, and speak to the locals via phone when we encountered problems communicating. She recommended places that we would not have thought of and even suggested hotels in Xiamen for our next stop in our itinerary, and we chose the Holiday Inn next to the airport. Also suggested.places in other provinces we should go in our next trip to China.

NNathan JJThis hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.

AAnaP92The general manager gave us a very warm welcome in excellent English and upgraded our room size to have a more comfortable stay.
The restaurant manager, Wang Fang, was also exceptionally welcoming. She helped us with getting everything that we needed and took great care of us during our meals.
The cook prepared excellent fresh noodles and suggested what ingredients we should try.
The people that are working in this hotel were the highlight of our stay. Thank you for the great experience.

MMaja VA great place! The owner is very kind and helpful, the room is clean and has a nice terrace to enjoy, when the weather is not too hot. The food is also amazing. When we arrived we first ate lunch and had this bamboo broth that was delicious. Also the way the welcome children is very heartwarming. They had a lot of toys they shared with our two boys and it was great when we came back in the evening and we wanted to relax a bit, the boys could play there. One evening the owner daughters had a birthday and they even shared the cake with them. Really so toughtful and nice!
We chose this hotel also for it's location. Because we arrived in the afternoon, we still wanted to check some attractions and it was really perfect that the hotel is within and walking distance to bamboo rafting. When we were there the last ride was scheduled for 15:40, so we managed to have lunch and still came on time for the raft ride.
Definitely a very good place to stay if you are in Wuyishan area.
