Lodge 37 ★★
"Paip tandas leaking ,lantai banyak habuk, customer service very slow not friendly..."
Perkasa Hotel Mt Kinabalu ★★
"Its quite and the view is spectacular, sadly during check in the lady in the front desk didnt speak frankly regarding the distance. We're evergreen couples, well you know what I mean, I'm fiftees my husband sixtees.. its quite hard for both if us to climb the stairs to our room.. its room no 10. I just hope, in future the front desk will truly advise the guest regarding the distance and how many stairs they have to climb in order to reach their room."
Skyville Zen Resort, Kundasang ★
"If you’re looking for a quiet and away from work, you can try this resort. Cold morning breeze, chirping birds and cup of coffee to boost your day.."
Sabah Tea Garden ★★★
"The tea plantation is beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. It would get the 5th star if it had decaf coffee (Kopi tanpa kafein) and fresh milk. The Garden cottage is excellent. 6 huge en-suite bedrooms and a patio which looks straight at Mt Kinabalu, best seen in the morning and evening The longhouse accommodation looked comfortable too. The tea tour is slightly hampered by the guide being difficult to hear and understand but we got the gist. Good location for Poring hot springs, Ranau and Rafflesia flowers"
Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Poring Hot Springs ★★★
"Friendly service and excellent staffs Room was clean. 1 Master bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Both room hs toilet. The masterbath room has a bathrub but its old and cracking. WiFi provided Breakfast is included and required pre-order. Don’t expect much from the breakfast buffet spread s but does the job to keep you full. In terms of taste, the food tasted delicious. Facility require RM200 refundaböe deposits per night. Water supply was sufficient. We were 2 pairs of adult couple staying for one Night."
Fairy Garden Resort Kundasang ★★
"The hotel was decent overall. The room was clean and met basic expectations, but nothing particularly stood out. The staff were polite and helpful, though service was sometimes a bit slow. Amenities were adequate, and the location was fairly convenient. While the stay was comfortable enough, it didn’t feel exceptional. It’s a reasonable choice for a short stay if you’re looking for something simple and affordable."
Kinabalu Poring Vacation Lodge ★★
"The hosts were incredibly kind. They offered to order food for me or drive me to a restaurant. They even drove me to the bus stop in Ranau on my departure day. There's a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and there's always hot water. However, it was a bit untidy and some of the dishes were dirty – but you can always wash them yourself 😉 The room was clean and equipped with ceiling fans. You can also comfortably sit outside on the large (covered) terrace in the evenings, enjoying the view of the garden. Kinabalu Park entrance is a 20-minute walk away."
Mile 36 Lodge ★★★
"We stayed here before our hike up Mt. Kinibalu. The room was good with coffee and tea included. I had no phone coverage in the area but the reception had wifi so I was able to use that. The lady at reception was super helpful to us, especially when we couldn't get a grab. She rang a local taxi driver to bring us to the mountain. She also helped us to print 2 documents that are required to climb. We really felt welcome and supported here. If you plan on eating lunch/dinner here, I would message them first as we did have to walk about 7 minutes in the rain to the nearest restaurant."
Nabalu Kundasang ★★★
"Can consider to do upgrading given the location is near to town."

Kundasang Guesthouse
"Great place, not too far up Mesilau, very near to Bataras Supermarket. Clean place, helpful staffs. View of Mount Kinabalu is crystal clear. Parking is ample. BBQ is allowed. We stayed at the second floor, two queen size room. The only thing is upon checking out, the road coming out to town, traffic is quite heavy, other than that, all if well. "
