"The location is wonderful, completely immersed in nature and on a hill. The very beautiful castle, also typical furniture and accommodation are comfortable. The spa was a little disappointed, it was not worth paying €10 per person but breakfast was very good and rich!
Overall, the price quality ratio is fair.
The girls at the reception were very nice, I had forgotten a neck and they found it was kept up until I returned to get it back."

My wife recognises the “hotel” uses a lot of white light and furniture instead of the usual ambience yellow light in hotel. This totally works for us. It is clean and well maintained. MMorandoJust to make ourselves understood.... we happened upon this hotel by chance on New Year's Eve 2024 (obviously a few days' holiday) and we were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the simple beauty of the structure (the many photos that decorate each floor and each room are wonderful), breakfast super for variety and abundance. Coincidentally, a sporting event brought us nearby and we had no doubts in rebooking with them and honestly we can't wait to be able to return :-)

Ddi li 0101The hotel is far from the old town and is in a remote location, so it is very quiet. The room is quite spacious, the facilities are a bit old, and there are few restaurants around. It takes about ten minutes to walk to get there. It is better if you have a car, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

The Hotel is huge, very clean. The bedroom ist really nice, one of the best I've ever seen, really large, with a big and confortable bathroom. There are big windows that watch the beautiful Tuscany hills. And its very silent. Oustide there is a big park with pool, beds. umbrella, bar service. The breakfast its really complete and good.
the staff its gently and nice.
What else? If you are around Siena, go at Hotel Palazzo San Lorenzo for relax with charme.

KKalim’s worldEveryone will have a dream to live in a palace or a castle at some point. If you want to experience such a dream, it's not a bad choice here. It wouldn't be a problem if you could enjoy the loneliness, despair, and stillness of being alone in a large space. If you can't imagine, imagine sleeping in the middle of the gym overnight. The facilities provide the bare minimum. The beds are not bad, either. But there are not many feelings of living that people can live. It's the biggest regret there. It's easy to go anywhere because it's in the center of major tourist attractions. However, if you don't have enough leg muscles and heart power, you may be afraid to go outside. If you experience your own physical limitations during the day and are thinking of fighting solitude at night, it's not a bad choice.

Rooms are big, clean, with good air conditioner, bathroom very cozy, shower perfect.
”Living room” and kitchen comfortable, cozy, easy to use.
I loved this place, it was really beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful.
Only ”downside” - there is no elevator, so consider that if you have heavy bags with you.
Altogether- this was the best place to stay

GGuest UserThere was a huge blunder by trip.com. Our reservation was not found. Nonetheless the gentleman at the front reception helped us out. It was stressful especially after driving up for so long into siena. Hotel location is abt 10-12 min walk into the main square. Parking within hotel is limited. There is a public parking just outside before entering the ZTL zone.

GGuest UserApprox 20 minutes walking into San Gimignano. Staff all lovely and very approachable. Room was a very good size and spotless with a large bathroom and amazing views. Pool very quiet and plenty of sun loungers etc. A good choice at breakfast and plentiful. Lovely bar/terrace area and well maintained gardens. We’ll definitely visit again ☺️

Pros:
* The rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views
* Breakfast was good, plenty of options but till 10am on weekdays. And they really start taking away all the food at 10am.
* Right in the center of the city, you can walk anywhere
* They keep your suitcases after checkout. I asked them if I can come back for them later that day, and they were nice and kept them.
Cons
*No coffee machine in room. They do have a fridge though.
*No iron in room but they do have an ironing room
*No parking, but down the street there is free parking, a 8 min walk. I easily found a parking at 10.30pm

WWelllingtonThe location is in the historical center exactly, and the service is really wonderful. Although the reception is not 24-hour open, you can still contact the staff through WhatsApp and they are very nice and always ready to help you.
