"After seeing numerous recommendations for this hotel online, I decided to stay here during my trip along Highway 1. We arrived in the middle of the night, but there was still staff on duty, and the lady at the front desk greeted us with a smile and excellent service. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, featuring waffles, which are not commonly found. Early in the morning, the dining area was mostly filled with elderly white couples, but from around 9 a.m., it seemed like almost all the guests were Chinese—probably drawn by the same online recommendations. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t have a gym, and it rained during our stay, so we missed out on the stunning ocean views. However, the room was very spacious, and although the facilities were a bit dated, they were still acceptable. It’s a quaint and charming hotel overall, but it didn’t quite live up to the perfection described by some reviewers. Perhaps we didn’t get the best weather, or maybe our expectations were just too high.
"The location is good, and I like to see the sea view. Although the room I was given cannot directly see the sea, it is OK after walking a few steps. The quilt is very thin, and I feel that foreigners are not afraid of cold. The room is quite large and the layout is also unique. The floor is not good. I live on the first and second floors, and there are children running around, so the noise is very loud."

"Very nice, with a great view. We didn't get to take advantage of the heated pool and hot tub, or the outdoor morning yoga class (just too cold and foggy that morning). A sauna would be nice at a place like this. The only negative is that they seem to use ”softened” water, which I don't care for. Would definitely consider again."
"Definitely a five-star review. The location is great, next to the seaside. The room is super cozy, large and clean. There are many facilities that ordinary hotels don't have, such as microwave ovens, complete sets of tableware, etc. The decoration style is also great. The parking lot is even safer. Overall, it is a great value for money."
"Fall in love with Pismo Beach and the Seacrest Hotel on a cliff. Although I only stayed here for one day, it was full of beautiful memories: the sunset over the North Pacific, the plank road along the mountain, the seagulls getting close to the crowd, the warm and friendly staff, and the hotel manager gave the children two small gifts before leaving. , his wife is from Shanghai, and he felt very friendly when he saw us. This is the best place to rest on Highway 1, highly recommended."
"Great hotel, great location. Valet parking is a nice feature considering parking downtown pismo can be impossible sometimes. Only downside is that area near the pier can be loud at night. If you want to leave the door open and listen to the ocean while you fall asleep, you might want to pick a hotel away from downtown Pismo. If you enjoy people watching from your balcony, perfect spot. The hotel is very clean, great service, decent food but honestly overpriced for the quality. Lobby bar made much better drinks than rooftop bar. Rooftop area is really cool though just to sit and enjoy a drink and the sunset.

"Title: Perfect Weekend Getaway at Spyglass Inn, Pismo Beach
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, and it was a great experience. Nestled in a prime location, this inn offers easy access to the best of the area's natural beauty and recreational activities.
Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Waking up to the serene views of the ocean and the calming sound of the waves was a daily highlight. The beach itself is clean and inviting, perfect for both sunbathing and very peaceful at dawn and sunset. The area boasts several scenic hiking trails. We took advantage of these and were rewarded with breathtaking views and the chance to reconnect with nature.
Food options around Spyglass Inn also added to the charm of our stay. We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive.
The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice."

KkyliminoThis is the worst night I slept in the United States. I didn’t sleep for almost one night. It’s not the noise of outdoor cars (noise is not big). The quilt on the bed is actually a thick wool blanket. Although the United States is cooler in the morning and evening, it is not necessary to cover a thick wool blanket in summer. It is heavy and hot. I took the child to sleep in a bed, we two really didn't sleep well all night, and the next day was particularly bad. The internal facilities of the room are relatively complete, but it is really impossible to think of a wool blanket in summer. And the next day I visited the town and found that there are a lot of inns. You can choose more and see the evaluation.
DDamianA perfect location right on the coast with cozy fireplaces to take in the view of the beautiful west coast sunset. Check in was easy, The hot tub and pool were perfect for a late afternoon dip and relax. The gift upon arrival for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration was also a nice surprise. Also surprised by the local Space X launch which was pretty cool to see
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and hygienic. If you don't have a high requirement for the location, it's fine. It's very convenient to refuel nearby. It's an 8-minute walk to **Uncle and an 8-minute drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
OOralia ArredondoThe food was not good. There were other guests smoking ********* both nights we stayed and the smoke lingered into our room. I was very disappointed that the hotel staff did not intervene and implement the no smoking policy they have posted all over the hotel. There were a lot of children staying at the hotel, it’s unfortunate that they had to be there with all of that smoke down halls across from the pool.
YYANGThe hotel is right on the beach, the environment is good, but the room is very general, not worth the price, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, breakfast can only be eaten, the water is not smooth, it feels disgusting, but the hotel's large terrace is very comfortable with fire The equipment, other facilities besides the beach, because it is not so much to pay for a night, and the city center has not gone.
KKUOHUAThe hotel is located on a beautiful seaside, surrounded by mountains and sea. The scenery is beautiful. The service at the front desk is friendly. Free coffee and snacks are provided in the lobby. Free parking is available. The free breakfast is simple, but delicious fruits are also provided.
GGuest UserRoom was nice with two solid beds, microwave, small fridge, and 40-inch television. Shower was small with weak water pressure. Motel is literally built right where the beach starts. ”Ocean view room” was not correct unless you count standing at your open doorway and staring over the parking lot towards the ocean. Also the windows were storm windows and would not open to allow for the sound and smell of the ocean. At $300 a night it is a bit overpriced. Room could use a tiny sitting table with a chair or two. Many restaurants within easy few minutes walk. A few shops to explore but not much else to offer for night life.
