While the sand isn't the softest (with some rocky areas), the environment is wonderfully peaceful and the water is crystal clear. You can explore the surrounding waters by boat or enjoy snorkeling directly in front of the hotel. At low tide, you'll discover an abundance of coral and fish (just be mindful of sea urchins!). For an additional fee, activities like fishing and deep-sea snorkeling are also available.

We had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day. The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge. They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues. They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush.

Overall pleasant stay and value for money. Staff is very helpful all the time. Perfect for groups or families looking to just relax in a very calm environment.

I had a fantastic experience staying at The Cove Phi Phi. The location is absolutely stunning—tucked away in a quiet corner of the island with a beautiful beachfront that’s perfect for relaxing or snorkeling right off the shore. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help.

We have one of our best traveling experiences here at the cove. We even thought about buying their working shirt as souvenir if they sell it.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cove Phi Phi. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic—peaceful and scenic, yet not too far from the main attractions. Service was truly excellent. However, the amenities were quite basic compared to expectations—no pool or gym, and limited in-room facilities. Still, for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Phi Phi, this is a great choice overall.

Everything was okay Its far from the main spot, but its quite there, okay for the peace lovers

This place is so peaceful great views although some of the passing boats can be quite noisy. We stayed in the ocean cliff view villa which was beautiful great size very clean. Make sure you bring a good book as there is no tv and the restaurant/ reception closes at 21.00. There is a steep walk up to the cliff view villas I quite liked it but it might not be ideal for everyone. There is no room service and only one restaurant they sometimes run out of some items, the spring rolls were our favourite one of the best in Thailand. The staff really made the trip so warm and welcoming. The only letdown is the beach is so rocky and not great for swimming, there are no sun loungers only plastic chairs or they provide bamboo mats to lay on but there are ants around and no beach towels provided. We enjoyed our stay but 2 days is probably enough.

This will be my second time staying at the cove in recent years. It’s a great location to enjoy peace and tranquillity away from the busy phi phi town. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Taxi boats can become quite expensive if you stay in town all day and want to return to the hotel at night but the hotel does offer a cheaper shuttle two times a day into town. If it rains though there really isn’t much to do.

The hotel is fine if you are prepared for the following: -it’s in the middle of nowhere, you can only get there by boat (hotel offers a free pickup/drop-off from the pier at certain times), at other times it will be costly to rent a boat to get you to the hotel This is what many reviews complain about, but this is exactly its strength, by being remote you get a great empty private beach! Only criticism: the free breakfast is very mediocre and could be improved.
