This was my first time visiting Songpan and as a foreigner, I was super grateful and thankful for the service and hospitality at Songpan No.1 courtyard. Zeng went above and beyond to help me as I didn’t speak any Chinese, she helped me (with the help of a translation app), with transportation, activities and fun bicycle ride to the bus stop. Without Zeng, it would have been difficult to navigate in/out of the city and being a solo traveller, Zeng made sure to check-in. I highly recommend foreigners to stay at this accomodation.
As for the hotel- it is situated in the ancient city. There are restaurants/ shops all within walking distance. The Songpan bus station is about 10min walk. The building itself is heritage but it is new and modern on the inside. The room was spacious and clean. It is a smart room- talks to you when you enter and smart bathroom too. Bed was super comfy, plush and new, perfect after a long hike.

1. Loved the ******* unique decor / artworks of the hotel
2. Location is superb, very near Jiu Zhai Huang Long high speed rail station. We paid 20 yuan (2 pax) taxi fare from train station to hotel. Upon checking out, the hotel provided free shuttle using their hotel transport (mpv) to the nearby high speed rail station.
3. All staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. The reception staff brought us some snacks after we checked in and resting in our room @5pm.
4. Dinner at hotel was very convenient and the recommended dishes are light to cure our high altitude sickness after visited Huang Long National Park.
5. The window view was a river and high speed rail track in the distance. Feeling relaxed and refreshing.
6. The room size is big and clean.
7. The hotel provides transport and tour to Jiuzhaigou and Huang Long scenic places.

Very good and satisfying accommodation experience! I heard that the altitude is 3300 meters. In addition to free water, fruits and snacks, there is also free oxygen in the room. The scenery is really beautiful, as if standing in the same position as the clouds. The people in the B&B are very enthusiastic and told me a lot of local things during the chat. Dinner and breakfast are also delicious. There are two cats and a Shiba Inu in the B&B. The cats are very close to people. They will come closer to people if you touch them. They are very cute. When I went to Zhenjiangguan Station, I couldn't find a taxi, and the people in the B&B helped us arrange a car. I was really saved, thank you very much!

Hotel was opened in 2024 so it’s very nice and clean. Possibly one of the best rooms I’ve experienced in China so far, especially for the price. There is a heater connected to the bed, which felt amazing.
The boss was very nice. You can ask them to pick you up from the Huanglong scenic area, and they also drove me there after I had checked out.
I didn’t get to try the dinner at their hotel as I was a bit too late, but they helped me find food next door, where I had a good chat and good food (it usually focuses on food for locals) I had a good stay here, thank you!

The inn is located behind the south gate of the ancient city. It is very quiet and has complete facilities. It has air conditioning and electric blankets. The proprietress is very gentle and enthusiastic. I will choose this inn again next time I go to Songpan.

The room is clean and odorless. The boss picked us up at the high-speed rail station. He was very welcoming. We like the hotel environment very much. There are many green plants in the yard and rooms. It feels very at home. The transportation is also very convenient. It is not far from the Huanglong Scenic Area. I will choose to stay in this hotel again if I have the chance.

The location is a bit remote. You have to walk about 30 kilometers after getting off the national highway. The last two kilometers are a bit narrow and it is difficult to miss the car. The location of the homestay is very good, with open grasslands and not too dense forests. It is basically surrounded by mountains. In the morning, you can see the golden mountain in the sun and the sky full of stars at night. We live in a courtyard-style house. There is a ******* village-style courtyard wall outside the door. You can bask in the sun and drink tea. The equipment in the house is very smart, with oxygenators, automatic water boilers, etc. It was a very good experience. Thank you to the folk waiter and butler, who was very thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the delivery sister was particularly enthusiastic.

GGuest UserThe room is relatively large, with electric blankets and floor heating, so you don't have to worry about being cold. I arrived late and had a slight altitude sickness. The boss went to the supermarket overnight to buy oxygen cylinders for me and gave me sugar water, which was very considerate.
You can be sent to the scenic spot at any time the next day. The boss will take us to store our luggage first and then send us to the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient! There is an elevator so you don't have to climb stairs and carry boxes.
I didn’t take photos of the hotel, so I’ll attach some pictures of the scenic area~

AAnonymous UserSongpan, known as the ancient city of Songzhou, is a place of historical and cultural significance. A sight of the mixing of four cultures: *******, Qiang, Hui, and Han. I stayed in this hotel for two nights and three days. The hotel is clean and gives you a taste of ancient architecture. The hotel manager is wonderful. She recommended great restaurants and helped us find taxi drivers.

GGuest UserThe best thing about the hotel is the location - only a few minutes drive to the Huanglong Scenic Area entrance. Th hotel was also good at helping arrange someone to fetch me from the airport and to take me to Jiuzhaigou the next day.
I arrived at night (9pm). Check in was fine, however, I can’t say the reception was very friendly or welcoming - I’m not sure if that’s because no-one speaks English (and yet at other hotels even though no-one spoke English you felt welcome).
The room smelled of smoke which is standard in Chinese hotels. There was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee 🤷♀️ The rooms are not sound-proof - thankfully the kids who were playing in the corridor went to bed at 10pm. Decent shower pressure and hot water.
I cannot comment on food - it looked traditional Chinese which I knew in advance so I don’t even bother going there for breakfast.
The village itself is small and there is not much around. There are some little shops to get the basics.
I wouldn’t recommend spending more than one night - a half a day is all you need to visit Huanglong

BBinh GThe warm service attitude was what I love the most about this B&B. The owners were very friendly, helpful. They helped to carry our luggage to the room, provide warm breakfast and even try to convince us to use public transport instead of taxi to save money.
The location was good, 10 minutes to the ancient city. But the surrounding has nothing (so if you don’t want to walk, consider other options inside or near the gate). Breakfast had porridges, vegetables, dumplings and eggs. We sat near the heater so it was very warm. The room amenities were fair with that price, don’t expect anything fancy. The owner provided heating electric fan, and heating electric blanket so we didn’t feel any cold at all.

GGuest UserThe location is right next to the Red Army Long March Memorial College. The room is large and has electric blankets and heaters. Chuanzhusi Town is so cold in winter that no electric blanket can resist it. The boss was very nice. He felt it was too cold and asked for an extra quilt.

GGuest UserThe owner tried to contact us to tell us a pipe had burst. We stayed here anyway and the family provided us with hot water to wash. The room was warm and had electric blankets. We paid for dinner and breakfast because we really enjoyed their food. The home made bread was delicious. We were given a safe and sheltered place to store the bikes. Thank you, lovely to meet you :)

PPRThis is a typical Chinese local hotel. It has nothing with Grand Hyatt hotels and groups. So don't be fooled by its name. So, please don't expect the Grand Hyatt standard.
Having said that, the service provided was better than average . The owner of the hotel tried the best .
If you have never stayed in any Chinese local hotels, then it's probably not the best suit for you. Otherwise, it served good purpose to rest our tired bodies after the half day tour in nearby tourist attraction- Huanglong
