I have to give this homestay a big 👍. The homestay is in the Tibetan village on the middle road. I drove up by car. Although it was already more than 8 o'clock in the evening when I arrived, I couldn't see any scene at that time. The owner of the homestay was Tibetan. The family was very friendly and enthusiastic. Let us sit around at the door and chat and drink tea. When the door of the living room opened, a fragrance came, which was the smell of washing powder on the bedding and the bedding was clean. The next day, my sister prepared breakfast for us, and from time to time came to ask us if we were enough to eat. I was really touched. I also gave a large pot of butter tea. Let us drink it casually. The butter tea is not fishy at all. It is much better than when I was traveling in Inner Mongolia. Unfortunately, because I have to hurry, Leave in a hurry, otherwise you can really relax in the village and breathe fresh air. In short, it is a very unforgettable stay experience. Words are not enough to describe my experience here. Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable. The Tibetan-style design is incredible! The indoor fireplace and rustic wood decor create such a cozy vibe. Right outside the window, you have stunning views of snow-capped mountains, ******* villages, and a sea of pear blossoms – truly a picturesque scene! The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, providing comprehensive travel tips. Staying here is the perfect way to fully immerse yourself in the slow-paced lifestyle of Western Sichuan. If you're coming to Danba, this place is a no-brainer!

Years later, I will still recall talking with Mr. Yongzhong on the pleasant 360-degree panoramic balcony about their beliefs and their current lives. It was a homestay experience I had never had before.

The location may not be rightbin the heart of the old village but the owner is so helpful & accomodating. They totally treat me like a family member. I booked a room for 2 nights & it ended as a full board room!! I had 3 meals a day with the whole family. The lady boss also gave me a ride to the old village, 7 km away & to tye bus station, 4 km away when I’m leaving. It's definitely one of my best travel experiences so far!! I strongly recommend her place. The 'little out of place' is more than compensated with the hospitality that I get. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay with you!!

The Jipo Shangmo Hotel in Danba is a tastefully decorated establishment that seamlessly blends ******* and modern design elements. It's immediately clear that the owner has poured their heart into running it. Speaking of facilities, the hotel features a charming courtyard. It's beautifully elegant, brimming with fresh flowers and succulents, creating an enchanting and tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. Should we have the opportunity to visit Danba County again, we would undoubtedly choose this hotel once more.

The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!

The service was the most satisfying; they even carried our luggage into the room. We had hotpot and stir-fries at the guesthouse in the evening, and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed listening to the landlady's pleasant singing. We didn't have time to explore the surroundings of the guesthouse, as we only stayed for one night. However, I noticed the greenery was great, with many fruit trees like pear, fig, and apple trees. The hygiene in the guesthouse was just okay. The bedding was clean, but the bathroom was incredibly smelly. Even with the exhaust fan on constantly, the sewer smell wouldn't dissipate. There was no place to put toiletries in the shower, nor a towel rack or hooks, which was very inconvenient. I hope these issues can be improved.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the hostess kept it immaculately organized. The appliances were all new and easy to use. The entire building was constructed in the traditional ******* style, preserving the original character of the old building. At the same time, the interior design meets modern living needs. For those seeking a traditional ******* experience, this is the place to go! The B&B is perfectly situated, nestled in the upper part of the village, right next to the watchtowers and temple. In the mornings, standing on the rooftop and gazing out over the surrounding landscape, the ******* houses dotted around the surrounding mountains create a picturesque scene! The host and his wife are incredibly welcoming. Staying here allows you to experience the warmth and joy of a ******* family. Part of the meaning of travel is experiencing local customs and people. This B&B left a lasting impression on me!

We stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with! The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!
