Danba Hotels with Bars

After much hesitation, I still want to write a review. Let's start with the good points: 1. The owners are very passionate and welcoming. 2. The lobby environment is decent; it has a somewhat secluded, idyllic feel. However, there are also obvious areas for improvement: 1. A 1.4k RMB guesthouse isn't cheap. There's an entrance fee to Jiaju, and other good guesthouses in Siguniang Mountain are around this price, or even cheaper. However, the room decor (especially the bathroom, which clashes with the overall style) feels more like a 600-700 RMB guesthouse. 2. The breakfast was also very ordinary. You shouldn't expect much from a guesthouse, but given its location, it should be better for this price. I'm not writing this to complain; I simply enjoy trying different hotels and guesthouses during my travels and am just objectively sharing my experience.

The guesthouse is located on a small road in Jiaju ******* Village, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. It has a small courtyard and convenient parking. We went in October, and the garden was full of flowers, trees, and shrubs—a very pleasant environment. The guesthouse is in ******* style, and all the rooms have open-air balconies, which are incredibly comfortable on a sunny day. Because of the relatively pleasant altitude, showers are available, but the only downside is that the water heaters in the rooms are a bit small; it was a bit cramped for two people showering together. The restaurant is right in the guesthouse lobby, which is very convenient. The breakfast was delicious, and there's also a bar where you can make coffee and cocktails. It's a pity we only stayed one night; time seemed to stand still as soon as we arrived. Staying a couple more days to explore the area around Jiaju ******* Village would have been wonderful. The owners also have three adorable dogs: a Golden Retriever for the lobby manager, a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, and a Husky—a treat for dog lovers! PS: Hope Zhaocai (the dog) comes home soon!

Our history was very kind. He cooked a delicious dinner for us for a small cost. Our room was clean and nice. The view remarkable. He hiked with us over the mountain to the next village the next day, which was a beautiful but tough hike. It is quite high altitude. I can really recommend the place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Queen's Castle Guesthouse! Our greatest stroke of luck during this trip to Zhonglu ******* Village was staying here. Uncle Gongbu, the guesthouse owner, was incredibly warm and kind, giving us many unexpected experiences. He specially took us to see a grand local performance in Mordo Mountain Town for free, and also took us to the White Pagoda viewing platform to immerse ourselves in the scenery of the sacred mountain and ******* village, experiencing firsthand the optimistic and carefree ******* life of the locals – a truly enriching experience. During the trip, one of our travel companions' suitcases was accidentally damaged, and Uncle Gongbu kindly helped repair it, solving a major travel hassle. Here, you can do more than just stay in a room; you can truly experience the authentic Jiarong ******* customs and culture – the people and scenery are both incredibly gentle. If you're visiting Zhonglu ******* Village in Danba, I highly recommend choosing this place!

The terraces on the third and fourth floors offer unbeatable views. The owner seems quiet, but he's actually a very kind and down-to-earth person. The architecture is very characteristic of ******* folk houses, and the guesthouse with its courtyard is beautiful, offering clear views of the starry sky at night.

The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!

It is inevitable that there will be accidents during the journey, but the way the homestay responds is reassuring. Our self-driving tires are a bit of gas. After asking the boss for help, he immediately found the gas pump to help inflate, and carefully checked the tire pressure. The homestay is located within the Jiaju Tibetan Village scenic spot, the scenery is excellent, and it is very convenient to enter and exit. Friends in the same group had a little altitude sickness, and the clerk immediately provided Rhodiola tea and oxygen bottles. The most moving thing was that after checking out, I found that the charger was in the room. After contacting them, the clerk immediately said that he could help mail it home. This unprejudiced and responsible attitude provides a solid backing for our journey.

The entire experience was impeccable, and I absolutely have to write a rave review and highly recommend it! What I want to praise most is the service team. Everyone was warm, attentive, and meticulous in every detail. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, the staff proactively helped with our luggage, providing thoughtful and meticulous service throughout, so we didn't have to do anything ourselves. During check-in, they patiently explained the hotel facilities and nearby tourist attractions, responding instantly to any questions. During our stay, they were always there for us when we needed anything extra, with a gentle and patient attitude that made us feel incredibly warm. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary ******* clothing experience and helped us choose accessories, making for amazing photos. The hotel environment is also exceptional, a perfect blend of ******* style and modern luxury. The white-walled, colorful buildings are arranged in a charming, staggered pattern, and the windows offer panoramic views of Jiaju ******* Village and the snow-capped mountains – a truly breathtaking sight. The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the entire room had underfloor heating and a humidifier, making it incredibly comfortable even at high altitudes. The private hot spring bath was clean and private; soaking in the warm water while gazing at the snow-capped mountains instantly soothed travel fatigue. Cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless. The bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet and a smart toilet, exuding a high-quality feel. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, warm and comforting, including authentic yak hot pot and other local specialties. The facilities were comprehensive, with free parking, a laundry room, and a fitness area, making it extremely convenient for getting around. This stay was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the environment was breathtaking. It's a must-stay hotel in Danba! I've already highly recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Danba. I'll definitely stay here again! 💯

It was less than expected. The facilities were good, but the building was like a abandoned building, so it was a little scary at night check-in. Moreover, it is not a formal hotel, but an airbnb style, so it is a house-sharing style. It was very uncomfortable because of the people in other rooms because it was not soundproofed. Towels were not provided, The next day, before the check-out time, someone came to clean up, and after all, due to sound insulation, I couldn't rest properly in the room.

From Jinchuan to Danba, I chose Jiarong Academy B&B. The hotel is located on the mountain, which is quite convenient for self-driving people. The parking lot is very convenient at the door. The front desk lady will greet you after you park. The service is good. The room view is very good, and you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The room area is not large. It has its own restaurant. We did not go out to find it, but solved it directly in their restaurant. The breakfast is basically OK for those who are not demanding. The mountain air is fresh in the morning, which makes people feel comfortable.
