It's an established hotel, but there was no unpleasant odor. Having traveled to many hotels for work, this is the only one where the carpets were maintained so well. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; the mattress was the perfect firmness, even better than many hotels that emphasize bedding. I'm mentioning this separately because in previous hotels, my back ached terribly the next day after a night's sleep due to overly soft mattresses, but this one was completely different. What's most special about this established hotel is its staff. Everyone exudes a sense of tranquility; their smiles are genuine, not the aloof, professional smiles of service personnel. This kind of feeling can't be cultivated without three to five years of immersion in the company culture. The location is also superb; the Taihang Mountains are perfect for those on road trips. I will be back in summer.

The location of the hotel is very good to find, very close to the ancient town of Daokou, within walking distance, passing through many restaurants, dining is very convenient. The reception of the hotel is polite and professional, the process is efficient and not delayed, and the questions are answered patiently. Although it is an old hotel, the rooms are clean and well lit, the bathroom is spacious, the hot water is strong, the bedding is comfortable, the night sleep is very quiet, and the air conditioning is also very powerful. The staff service is meticulous and thoughtful, the whole journey is comfortable, and the first choice for travel accommodation.

This hotel is really close to Linzhou Grand Canyon and Hongqi Canal, so the location is super convenient. The only downside is that the tunnel to Shiban Rock Town is currently closed for repairs, otherwise, getting to the scenic spots would be even easier. The rooms are decent too; it was spacious enough for our family. But my favorite part was definitely the restaurant! Dinner was delicious, the portions were huge, and everything tasted great. I highly recommend the 'big stewed dish'! The free-range chicken was also tasty. Breakfast was just as impressive, with local specialties like Hu La Tang (spicy soup), beef soup, and Bian Fen Cai (flat noodle dish) available every day, plus a wide variety of stir-fried dishes. They even had freshly made mini pancakes and freshly cooked noodles. Highly recommend this place!

During my trip to the Taihang Grand Canyon, I chose to stay at the May Maple Forest Hotel, and the overall facilities exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts a wealth of public facilities: the outdoor swimming pool has clean water, making it a great place to swim; the fourth floor has its own buffet restaurant and several private rooms, making it convenient to dine in if you don't want to go out; there are also two meeting rooms of different sizes, suitable for family trips or small team building events. The parking lot has ample spaces, and there's a children's play area in the lobby, so kids won't get bored. The terrace is equipped with tables, chairs, and tools for a self-service barbecue. With accommodation, dining, and leisure all in one place, this hotel offers excellent value for money in Shiban Rock. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean, and the owner's service was excellent, warm and attentive. Facilities: There was a large TV with internet access, and the building has an elevator. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food, especially the stew. The outdoor scenery was beautiful; the Grand Canyon is definitely worth a visit. Located right next to Red Flag Canal Avenue, its location is superb, with People's Park nearby, making dining and parking convenient. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again next time I visit.
