French Theory Hotel & Restaurant Reviews

Cannot recommend due to construction disruption and poor customer service. There is ongoing repair work directly in front of the hotel, resulting in significant noise and dust throughout the day. This made it impossible to relax or work comfortably in the room during daytime hours. The overall experience was further marred by unprofessional customer service. The front desk staff were rude and indifferent when concerns were raised, showing no willingness to acknowledge the issuey. Between the disruptive construction and the dismissive attitude from staff, this stay was thoroughly unpleasant. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great location. Simple furniture. Funky lobby and cafe. Quite small room but all is there. Can recommend.

Too much water can spill outside the shower due to the glass shower door. Also, I would have been happier if I hadn’t seen hair in the shower, but I definitely think it was an oversight as everything else was spotless. The staff are so sweet. Thank you for the hospitality and understanding. It was perfect. 🍓🍓

Perfect spot for solo travellers.

Quite practical if you arrive from or go to CDG airport because of the train station RER B going direct to terminal 3 of CDG airport. Room has a funky nice design… but walls are super thin and I could here the next door person as if he was in my room. However I had absolutely no annoying noise problems at night. There are no Amenities in the room (aside from shower soap, a hairdryer, and towels) but I’m guessing that if asked at the front desk they can provide you with a toothbrush and other things alike. Overall, the hotel seems clean and the staff was smiley and helpful. The hotel is right in the center of Paris, 5th arrondissement right next to the Pantheon, station Luxembourg, and the Latin Quarters (students areas). Ok

Location of hotel is really great you can find near by bar restaurants it’s convention , rooms are small but super clean

This is my third stay at this hotel. I really appreciate its location, its concept, and the friendliness of its staff. I lowered the cleanliness rating because I found dirt and dust clinging to the walls of the room, and I also found someone's hair in a folded, clean towel (not very pleasant). Probably due to its location, the hotel isn't very cheap, but I managed to get a good rate, which made me happy because there is still roadwork going on outside the window (it can be noisy).

The entrance of the hotel is very small, more than one meter wide. You need to pay more attention when you find it. French hotels over a thousand are like this! The most important thing is that it is very noisy. The whole night is filled with the sound of people talking and opening doors outside. People have been opening their own doors, and the sound is loud all night! I don’t recommend staying here. I can’t sleep well at all! This is the first time I have slept so badly in more than ten days!

The hotel is in a good location. The front desk is friendly and helpful. There are guitars and musical instruments on the basement floor. Friends can have fun. The room window is the old street. It is in the tourist area and the street scenery is outside. The room has WIFI, is clean, has a sense of design, and has a cultural atmosphere. It is good.

The hotel is nice. The room is very small, but it's clean and has everything you need, except for a kettle. The downside is that the doors slam terribly (you can only fall asleep with earplugs). Rooms are sometimes cleaned in the evening, and there was a problem with the radiators. They got too hot for two nights, setting off the fire alarm. We had to evacuate and not sleep for a couple of hours. On the last night, there was no hot water, so we had to shower with lukewarm water.
