"Location and food is amazing. View is also good but the rooms are average. Wifi was also not working well as there is only BSNL available till now in the area. Washrooms were average. Prices are little bit on higher side maybe because it’s one of the remote area of Kashmir. Overall it was average stay and can be considered one of the good option in the area."

"We took 2 rooms for 2 nights for Rs, we are charged ₹ for 1 night for 1 room which is not at all a great stay. No breakfast included, geezer not working, worst food in restaurant with high prices, half the menu is not available, simple room not at all worth for that money, half of the time Wi-Fi is not available. Only the good thing about property is location, the view is good from the property and glacier river will be passing in front of the property."

GGuest UserGood experience. This place is more like a homestay. The owner is warm & welcoming. It is located in the upper market of pahalgam in a bylane. The view from the room was good. They need to arrange for good heating equipment in winter time. We were provided with a small room heater which was enough for us. In house food service is not there but there are many hotels and restaurants just 2 min walk away. It was absolutely safe as my wife and i were out till late enjoying the winter breeze and watching the spectacular mountain view in the moonlight. I would call it a good budget stay option in pahalgam as hotels are pretty expensive. Overall a 3. 5 out of 5.

GGuest UserFound this property while navigating google maps on terrain setting. They're difficult to reach (a disclaimer that doesn't get shared while booking, although the property offers a pick up from the base of the hill, until a point your taxi can reach. Call them first, as google routes will take you to the wrong location. The positive of this makes them placed in a pristine area with very good views of the mountain peaks, but also makes them quite further away from the main market, restaurants, facilities and activities. If you want silence and a pristine space, they're your place to be. If you want to access good food and the hustle bustle, you can take a lovely long walk through the forest, across the river and reach the pahalgam main road to access those services. The food was underwhelming. I would be hesitant to bring parents and anyone slightly older as the terrain is tough. The place is more suited for younger, able-bodied people and those happy to walk for a couple of kilometres up and down the mountain. Generally speaking, i had a good experience and would likely come here again.

GGuest UserThis is a premium property, set on the prime location with private access to the beautiful river. The hotel has comfortable rooms with good heating systems. We stayed in the river facing room and the experience was extremely pleasant. The property has a cafe (Cafe Wilo) as well as a Dining hall (Dilkush). The dinner and breakfast was very tasty with multicuisine food options. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you wish to have an exquisite stay near the river

GGuest UserLocation is good. It's near to the market on chandanwadi road. It also had a pure veg restaurant at ground floor.
Scope of improvement is that this property is not very well maintained. Washrooms have leakage, rooms are with low terrace and not much ventilation.
Also the service is not great
You won't find anyone at the reception till 8:30 AM with main gates looked.

GGuest UserThe property is ideally situated next to the lidder river with half rooms overlooking the river. The property has a lush green lawn hugging the river where meals can be served with bonfire facility (ofcourse on payment) although it has a small dining room too in case the weather packs up outside. The staff is very helpful, cooperative & friendly especially zahoor who is ever ready to make your stay memorable. The cook- adil makes lovely home made food as desired- stuffed parathas, dal, phulka, pane-er butter masala, etc, etc. Overall an amazing experience and value for money- highly recommended.

GGuest UserLocation of the ' homestay' please bear in mind, its a homestay and not a hotel, is a little far from the town centre market. The rooms are spacious and more or less comfortable. However they are not offering any room heating equipment and it's a major let down in the cold. Mind you the rooms become extremely cold at night and even though they provide as many blankets you need, but the presence of heater is sorely missed. The homestay manager is soft spoken and attentive and tried to solve all our issues to the best of his intentions and i must appreciate his help as without it our stay would have been even more painful. As per him their restaurant was under renovation and due to the remote location of the homestay, getting any food from the market center was always a pain and needed prior planning

GGuest UserWe stayed at Hotel Sunshine in June24. The location of the hotel is great. Its about 3 kms from the Pahalgam market, a beautiful waterfall flows from right in front of the property’s garden, so you can enjoy your food and nice hot cup of tea sitting in the garden and hearing the beautiful sound of the waterfall. The staff is extremely hospitable and will genuinely look at what you need. Would like to specially mention Javed bhai (property’s owner) who also took out time to take us to the market when we wanted to have the best coffee in Pahalgam and also took us to genuine shops for shopping (being with a local helped us get fair rates). They were sweet enough to arrange for a 2 wheeler for us when we wanted to visit the market. The rooms were decent- considering construction/ repair is restricted in Pahalgam. But the property is supposed to become even better is what the owner explained to us by the end of 2024. Cleanliness is something that we feel can be better. Rest all good.
