"I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hotel in Oxford and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was very clean, including the ensuite bathroom, which was well maintained. The staff were polite and friendly, which made the stay more comfortable. The hotel is located about a 45-minute walk from the main city centre, but the route is straight and not hilly, so it’s manageable. The location itself was fine, with good bus connectivity making it easy to get around. There are several supermarkets nearby, including Tesco and Sainsbury’s superstores, as well as a few cafes and restaurants in the area. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or food service, but there is a vending machine offering coffee and some light snacks. Overall, it’s a good option for a clean, affordable stay in Oxford, especially if you don’t mind being a bit outside the city centre."

"Excellent location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The room was comfortable and clean. We arrived in the morning and were able to leave our luggage for storage; they even moved our bags to the room before we checked in, which was a really nice service. The only slight drawback was having just one key card for the room. While the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, there's one downstairs where hotel guests get a 10% discount on breakfast – just make sure to mention you're staying at the hotel."

"It is comfortable and quiet. It's quite near the town centre and the university, there's a college right next to it. But it is far from the railway station, it took us 27mins walk to/from the railway station. Travel light if you choose here. But  not to be too worry, lots of people pulling their luggages going about to reach their hotels or railway station, and the road/street pavement is even and the terrain is flat. Otherwise, there are buses that passes it  along the main Street, just may have on google to let you know where to drop off. The room is spacious, and comfortable.  "

"We arrived early and was allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel so that we could walk around the city before check in. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a map that help us to explore the beautiful city of Oxford. To our surprise, our luggage were all transferred to our room after checking in time as we came back around 5pm. The stay is pleasant. Unfortunately my son accidentally left one of his earbud in the room and the hotel take all means to contact us. Appreciated the support and the efforts given. Just wish the parcel fees are not that expensive. Highly recommended place to stay if you’re in Oxford. Just 2 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to city centre."

"Plenty of parking available, but if there's a home game for Oxford United in the evening, parking can be a hassle since the stadium is right next door. Breakfast includes homemade waffles and all the usual options, primarily a full English breakfast, and the coffee is excellent. The room feels cramped with a sofa bed. It's about a 15-minute drive to Oxford University or the shopping center, and Bicester Village is around 30 minutes away."

"Comfortable stay. I had a really good stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable — definitely one of the best parts of the stay. There was also a Nespresso coffee machine provided with a good selection of coffee pods, which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful overall, although I did have one slightly less welcoming interaction, but it didn’t affect the stay too much. Only small downside was that there were no robes provided in the room. Other than that, everything was great and I’d happily stay again."

"I particularly liked the dormer window in the room. Although the room was small, it was clean and tidy. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very professional and punctual. Luggage can be stored after check-out, but must be retrieved within a specified time. It's a bit of a distance from Oxford University, so it might be a good option for those who enjoy walking. Public transport is also very convenient."

"No hairdryer, toothbrush, or toothpaste was available, and many other disposable amenities were missing. The room was on the smaller side, but the location was decent. Overall, it was an acceptable stay. They did provide tea, coffee, and an electric kettle."

"The staffs are excellent in this hotel. They are helpful, pleasant, felt the warmth when I first step in the hotel. I had trouble with the kiosk during check in but Julie came quickly to help me. To be honest I was very tired dragging my luggage because of Julie, it’s just lighten up my day.  Thank you all."

"Traveling with a child limited our hotel options in Oxford, so we booked this hotel located 6 km from the city center. You can walk about 6-7 minutes to the 300 bus stop to catch a bus to Oxford University. The hotel's location is a bit remote, so it's best to avoid going out at night. The lobby on the ground floor is a nice place to sit, have a drink, and enjoy some dessert in the evening. The Indian gentleman and lady at the front desk were not very friendly or honest."
