I really like travelodge, would come here over and over again. Clean Lilly white towels. My room was warm enough and not too cold. They had turned on the heater before I've arrived. Customer service was great too. Only wish they had a fridge and microwave in the room, besides that everything is perfect.

We absolutely enjoyed our 3 days 2 nights stay at the graduate hotel at Oxford. We booked 2 King room bedrooms for me&my husband & my son for 2 nights. I am a little worry about 24m2 size of the bedroom might be too small for us but upon arrival and check-in, the room is just nice, very cozy and warm and very Brtish atmosphere. The arrival hall is really pleasant, they have a small cozy bar for good whisky cider and some snacks. My husband & I enjoyed our drinks at the bar, we tried their British draught cider. For the breakfast, they reserve at very beautifully designed Alica restaurant just next to the reception. Very decent English buffet. Not too crowded and very enjoyable morning breakfast.
The bed, pillow blankets are super comfortable and we had uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. The room temperature is just nice we set at 19-22 degrees.
The bathroom is not spacious but just nice for 1 person. However the bathroom floor is alittle cold as the hotel did not provide slipper. The amenities are decent shampoo/bath gel/conditioner big bottle sizes with small soap though we prefer hand gel and hand lotion as it is cold weather.
The room has a spacious corner for closet and luggage, that is very good for my husband and I.
However there's only 1 chair for reading and the light/lamp are a little dim maybe we can call it cozy [ Brtish style ].

Enjoy elegance in the heart of Oxford when you stay at the Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel. This picturesque four-star hotel occupies three buildings, two of which are 19th century manor houses bursting with character. Guests can also enjoy three acres of beautiful private gardens. Not to mention the amenities of Oxford city centre which is just two miles away. The Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel is also close to the University of Oxford, Oxford Castle and Blenheim Place.

We love this hotel because it is right across the street from my mother's place. The Christmas decorations were really fun and we enjoy the breakfasts room with its skylights.

The hotel room is very small. The door swiping the card on the corridor causes the door to close continuously. The room sound insulation is very poor. The room upstairs is clear to walk in. The corridor is clear to walk in. The room near the elevator can actually hear the elevator stop and start, including the door close and open. The location is OK, but the room feels bad to live in

It is very close to the train station. When I first saw the appearance and arrived at the check-in front desk, I thought I had stepped into a trap, but the subsequent experience was very good. The front desk was very enthusiastic, the room was clean and tidy, and the area was considered large compared to the average economical British hotel. The heating was very hot, the bathroom was large, and the facilities were also arranged with an atmosphere. There is no elevator, but walking up the old-fashioned stairs was also very exciting. I was lucky. The room was not facing the street and was very quiet. It was not the standardized convenience and comfort of the chain hotel, but the style and comfort of the old-fashioned hotel. The girl and boy at the front desk were very beautiful and handsome, and spoke English with an accent, like Italian or Spanish. When checking in, I met a non-English couple checking in. The whole conversation was in non-English, and it felt more fluent than English. The overall evaluation is very good and recommended

This is a hotel converted from an old castle prison. It is very innovative. There are two types of rooms. One is a room converted from two cells, and the other is a normal room. The window of the room converted from the cell is a small upper window like in the prison. The normal room I booked has a balcony. It depends on everyone's preference. The room has a coffee machine and a towel heating rod. The shower room is small and the button area is large, but it takes some skills to press it. The first time I pressed it for a long time, it didn't trigger. The air conditioning in my room was slightly insufficient, but the hotel service staff actively solved the problem. The overall service was very warm and thoughtful, sharing town maps and so on, so despite the slight inconvenience, I still like the style and service of this hotel. The breakfast is also good, and the black pudding is awesome. In addition, some rooms have stairs in addition to the elevator. If you have large luggage, you can try to contact the hotel to use the small elevator, as shown in the last picture

The talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best I’ve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure, temperature and drainage so I’m not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, it’s seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so you’ll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.
