Guest UserThe room key card was very unique. The Alice breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the lobby on the first floor had a nice ambiance. There's a museum right across from the hotel, and a bus stop next to it with service to Bicester Village, and apparently even to Blenheim Palace. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the train station.

134TinaThis branded hotel offers great value for money and a very convenient location. It's just a 7-minute walk from the train station, and all major attractions are within a 15-minute walk. Plus, there's a mall with plenty of dining and shopping options just 5 minutes away, including a fantastic Hangzhou-style restaurant.

very nice boutique hotel with a good bar and restaurant below. The room nice, clean, minimalist but good furniture and decent shower. Only one complaint - if you are not a fan of capsule coffee (and I am definitely not) and you just want a cup of tea, it's a pain to have to google the coffee machine to work out how to use it when just a simple kettle would have been fine. Just 4 for the location because of the chaos at the Botley road bridge which is going on till this time next year at least! Lovely breakfast menu with good service.

We were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

The location is excellent, close to the colleges, high streets, and main attractions, very convenient. The old house facilities of the school are average, there is no elevator, this room is in Basement, there is a patio, lighting and ventilation. Breakfast is in the student canteen, there are few types, you can experience the atmosphere of Dining hall. on campus, quiet in the noisy, and enjoy sitting on the lawn in the morning and evening for a while.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and overall the room was comfortable and tidy.
Its location is very convenient, close to Oxford city centre, making it easy to get around and explore the city on foot or by public transport.
One important thing to note is that there is no free parking available, and the hotel does not provide on-site parking spaces. If you’re travelling by car, you’ll need to arrange nearby paid parking in advance.
Overall, a good option for cleanliness and location, but not ideal if you’re driving.

The location is very good, in the center of Oxford, very convenient to go anywhere, there is a Lanzhou ramen restaurant downstairs, the taste is very good.
The room with breakfast is booked, the breakfast is very monotonous, not recommended, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around, you can buy anything to eat. And we left early on the last day, and did not have breakfast.
The hotel wins in the location, it is very convenient. The facilities and services are average

Guest UserIt’s not really a hotel, but more like a B&B with some hotel like features. Moving up the luggage to the room on the top floor was rather inconvenient although the receptionist,Alex, was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but since there isn’t a restaurant in the accommodation, you’ll have to drive out to find food beyond breakfast. Besides the receptionist Alex, I didn’t quite get a warm feeling when we encountered the hosts, which is unusual given our experience in other cities in the UK so far. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

I can't even imagine it. Attic, I, a big man of 158cm, bumped my head 6 times in one night. Who would dare to imagine? It was so violent that I almost broke my cervical vertebrae. According to our country, it must be a single bed, but it is a double bed. It is extremely hot. There is a small electric fan with a tilted head, which sounds like a tractor. It was a lively night. There is no independent bathroom and the two rooms are shared. One, it’s convenient to take a bath, but I don’t have enough experience. I’m sorry.

Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park.
Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower.
The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered.
