This hotel is far from Kyoto Station but in a quiet neighbourhood. Although accessible, should you want to stay here, factor in travel time - 20mins away from kyoto via JR lines. The building is old. Breakfast is good but i missed mine on the second morning as they closed 10mins early. Good size room - and I have a double bed for single occupancy.

The lady receptionist is very helpful and kind. Much appreciated for your help! In general, the hotel situates for just a 2-minute distance from Seta JR Station, and it takes around ~20min travelling time from/to Kyoto. Reasonable facilities given the price is economic. Thank you for the hospitality.

The room was clean, and the location of the hotel is very close to the JR Ishiyama station. The staff was friendly and spoke fluent English.

This is a decent hotel I stayed in during my travels in Japan. The main problem is that the wallpaper is peeling, which makes people feel uncomfortable. The location is good, Seta Station can be seen at a glance, not far from Kyoto, and the transportation is convenient. The service attitude is very good. My companion couldn't find the breakfast coupon, so the front desk gave him another one. The breakfast was also okay. It is a good hotel with a little renovation.

The cheap price has its reasons, it is equivalent to the domestic Super 8. It is quite convenient to shop and take a bus around. One step to the countryside, one step to the bustling city, one step to the mountain, and one step to the boat. If a person is tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and wants to hide occasionally, this is still a good choice. After all, it is absolutely affordable to live here in seclusion for a month or two in Japan.

I booked it for the second time, both before and after my child took the Longgu University entrance exam. The house is clean, quiet, and convenient for transportation. I just have to see if I can get into Longgu University this time.

The night view was beautiful. The station was also very close and it was a convenient location. I went to Kyoto the next day, and it took about 30 minutes on the highway. I also went to the Metasequoia road.

There are many restaurants near Seta Station. Parking is by reservation only, so if you don't make a reservation, you'll have to park in a paid parking lot far away.

The front desk staff was friendly and smiley. The room smelled of cigarettes, but the smell disappeared after I sprayed the provided deodorant. When I tried to take a shower, the hot water didn't come out, so it was cold until it came out. There were many outlets and an air purifier, so it was comfortable. I thought the breakfast buffet could have been a little more varied, but it was delicious.
