The place is great, the room was spacious. However, improvement could be made in maintenance. The toilet, the seat needs to be maintained.

I encountered several issues related to maintenance that significantly impacted my experience. 1) bench chair cushion stain mark and burned fabric very unhygienic 2) poor plastering work with holes due to re- wiring works. 3) leakages lead to wall blistering and peeling. 4) the spare single mattress was left on the floor and uncovered 5) Lack of Toiletries product and it was not label correctly. I believe that basic room maintenance is crucial for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and these issues did not meet the standards. I would appreciate it if you could address this matter and take steps to ensure that your rooms are properly maintained for future guests.

Customer service allowed us to checkin slightly earlier and checkout slightly later upon request. Reply by the customer service was quite promptly. However, the owner probably need check on the condition of the toilet seat, it’s a little loose. The WiFi is a bit slow and TV remote control was unable to be located during the stay. Overall hygiene was ok, the parking was expensive in Melaka and not very convenient.

I always liked staying at the pines (by amanjiwa this time.) However this time has proven that the hotel have already way passed their prime. Cleanliness during my stay is terrible. 1. Killed 3 cockroaches in a night, and one of it is on my bed. 2. Raised complain to management, with no response at all. (I saw them typing, and they decided to ignore this issue instead) 3. The toilet is clogged. Literally flooded if bathed a little longer. Amenities wise ; 1. The swimming pool can be seen to be old alrd, and maintained at optimized cost. Considered acceptable. But the heater is no longer running, water is very cold. 2. If staying with amanjiwa, u will not enjoy the services of the hotel. (U pay for what u get) 3. Car park is not under hotel. U need to park walk across the road. (Rm 2.5 per hour, max rm10 per day) if re enter, will charge differently) Overall, I'd say the most disappointing part is how the management decided to just ignore the situation when problem arise.

Space is huge, really enjoy stay here. Swimming pool very clean and behind the hotel is Melaka river, I run and walk along the river, nice view and nice track. Will go to this hotel again if I visit Melaka

It’s my first time staying here . Recommended by a friend . Overall it’s ok , just a bit dirty at the toilet & floor is bit sticky as I read from the reviews. Spacious room , suitable for family stay . Just that we need to park the car opposite the building of the hotel , parking fee is not cheap though with flat rate . Walking distance of 10 mins from the hotel to Longkang Siham . And there are few food places nearby.

Room is within Pines Hotel. Room with twin beds is huge. There was also a sofa that could become a sofa bed. Good level of cleanliness for room and toilet. Had a small table in a partial kitchenette with a sink and small fridge. Bed was comfortable enough. Aircon worked well. Only local TV channels, not very good reception. Couldn’t connect to the wifi. Location wise, it’s next to a big main road on one side and the Melaka River on the other, about a 20min walk to Jonker St area. There’s an open air food court opposite (Wong Kok) with good Chinese food. Further down on the same side as the hotel, there’s a roti canai shop, a yong tau foo shop, a roti john shop and a minimart. Won’t go hungry. Buy your own water. Would recommend for the low price.

The room is clean spacious enough for 4 adults with microwave and dining table. Location is good.

Received all info needed for check in before our arrival. Room was spacious and clean. Hope we had a longer stay here. River cruise jetty is nearby apartment. Jonker street is a few minutes drive away.

Toilet chokage for my 2 nights stay. Although they came to rectify, after a few time usages, it chokes again. For the room make up part, they only change towels and clear dustbin rubbish. They did not make up the beds and clean other part of the room. The location is not very accessible to the famous attraction. You might need to walk or get a taxi if you don't drive. If you drive, there is a carpark opposite where the charges were cheapest around. But you need to drive to the highest floor where you are allowed to park as a visitor. Overall it is not a good experience for my stay. I will not book again.

Incredible apartment for incredible price per night. Much better than my expectation. Great view of the river below. Enough eating places within walking distance. To go farther please use riverboat taxi. I guess during peak period you better reserve room way in advance.

The hotel is awesome. The rooms is clean, the pool is nice and the location is great. I really impressed with the hotel which is shared with Pines Hotel. The room is spacious and easily can fit in 4-5 people. The river is just beside the hotel and you can walk along it or you can chartered a boat for a river cruise. I will definitely come back to the hotel.

Coincidentally the room that I got the aircon is not very cold and very noisy. But overall the place is worth the price, it will be 5 star if the aircon is more cold and not noisy
