"We just chanced upon this hotel for a sudden getaway by the beach and saw these here. The hotel is surprisingly a nice beachfront one. The infinity rooftop pool and the ground floor pool is so nice. The view is amazing and relaxing. Breakfast is not in included but we tried it there and it was good with the view of the beach and the pool. The room is big and so nice with sea views on the balcony. I was delighted with the shower with a marble sitting area for me with mobility issues. The bed and pillow are comfortable and I had a good sleep. They have ample and safe parking on the basement. Great location and nice and clean beach front. Enjoyed our stay and would love to be back again."
"Our stay at Court Meridian was pleasant even for an overnight stay.. Staff are helpful and beautiful courteous.
We were able to upgrade two rooms since there were available rooms with veranda( though sold out according to Trip).
Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy.
Bathrooms are nice and updated.
Overall it was worth the price"
"It was a great stay at another @RedDoorz room :-) The room was big and well appointed. It was clean and cool - I mean Cold (great AC) Internet was above average for most hotels in the Subic area.
Parking was easy and the location was quite but not remote. SBMA was a short drive away (really easy) and the rest of downtown Olongapo was a good distance by walk or drive. Really great."
"The Property is worn out ,the TV wasn't working ,the breakfast wS ver disappointing, the staff were good ,but the hotel need updating
When it first opened it was great bit the owners have let the property go
Very disappointing 😞"
"The pub part of the offer was outstanding, Magners on tap, real British pub atmosphere, best calamares I had in decades. Nice seats watching out on the bay. Could not be sny better in England.
The rooms were rather soso, and I don’t mean the size or rudimentary furniture. There were small ants all over so I kept my suitcase closed. There was a loud fan in the room and a rattling a/c in the bathroom window. The shower fittings were adventurous and the water flow very low. And the rental requirements did not make me feel really welcome, read yourself to make your own opinion.
I had a quick dip in the water in the morning and left a day early.
In general, I would rather pay 10 bucks more and have a decent shower and a/c and no bugs in my room."
"I have stayed previously hereon a few occasions, finding it convenient. It is in a good location close to restaurants and bars money changer.
I believe it's good value for money despite limited amenities.
Staff are friendly.
Direct access to Sparrows Cafe is good where locals & foreigners eat."

"There are no particular problems with the facilities.
I was able to check in and out smoothly.
The room was large and Japanese people could spend there without any problem.
The shower is weak.
Food has its own peculiarities. (especially sausage)
The rice porridge tasted like ginseng chicken soup."

Very Good
GGuest UserReception staff professional polite and friendly. While waiting for my room to be ready ( I was early) a large group of locals arrived and very demanding, in particular one lady who felt she was entitled and blaming receptionist for booking hic up, nt caring others where waiting. Receptionist handled the situation extremely professionally.
Once they left she advised me that my room was ready and I thanked her and congratulating her for dealing with the situation calmly and professionally which she appreciated.
Pool is small, with no shade, only a few tables, the bar area being small. A couple of tables near by and area to eat inadequate once again lacking tables.
Breakfast was adequate yet basic.
This group, previously mentioned, just took over with no consideration for others, in recreational areas Beach was closed to stingers.
Location was good however I don't think I stay here again due to limited amenities.
JJames Doblekay, here's my take on Mango's Beachfront Resort in Olongapo, based on what I've seen:
If you're heading to Olongapo, especially for diving, Mango's Beachfront Resort has some definite pros. The location is right on the beach, which is a big plus, and the staff are consistently praised for being super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food, and you can enjoy it with a view of the ocean. They've also got a dive center right there, which is really convenient if you're planning on doing some underwater exploring.
However, be aware that the rooms can be hit-or-miss. Some of the standard rooms seem to be quite outdated and a bit rough around the edges – think things like mold and noisy AC. If you can, it's worth upgrading to a superior or king room, as those seem to be much better. Also, while it's a beachfront resort, the beach itself isn't necessarily the best for swimming. And just a heads up, there's no pool on the property.
So, to sum it up: Mango's is a good choice if you prioritize location and friendly service, especially if you're a diver. But, be sure to choose your room carefully, and don't expect a pristine beach for swimming.
GGuest UserAmong the hotels nearby... it's probably the best... but it's a pity.
Ants in the room and swimming pool. There were a lot of bugs like...
I was bitten by unknown bugs in about 10 places all over my body.
The restaurant was okay,
It was free on weekdays (there were no customers) so it was easy to use the swimming pool.
Not long after the typhoon passed, the nearby beaches were dirty.
I have no intention of revisiting. The photo and the actual product are very different, and it is not good for the price.
IINFINIVAN, INC.I recently stayed at Samba Blue Water Resort in Olongapo City, Zambales, and I’d like to share my full experience. From the peaceful beach atmosphere to the accommodating staff, it was a stay that truly stood out — both for its strengths and for a few areas that could be improved.
The moment I arrived at Samba Blue, I could tell this wasn’t just another commercial beachfront resort. It had a laid-back, local island vibe that immediately made me feel at ease. The entrance was welcoming, check-in was smooth, and the staff made me feel like a valued guest from the start.
I stayed in one of their rooms and it offered a good balance of comfort and nature. The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had the essentials I needed for a relaxing beach getaway.
The sound of the waves in the background and the breeze flowing through the resort made it easy to unwind. If you're someone who enjoys a more ”back-to-basics” island experience, you’ll probably love the rustic charm.
The beach area is the real highlight. The shoreline was clean, and there were enough shaded areas and cabanas to relax in. I loved that the resort maintained a peaceful, non-crowded vibe, even though there were several other guests staying at the same time.
The pool area and sun deck were well-maintained, and I enjoyed the acoustic night setup they had on the weekend — it was a perfect way to end the day with some live music under the stars.
They also offer water activities like jet skiing and banana boat rides, which add excitement if you’re in the mood for adventure.
AAnonymous UserThe location is perfect; it is situated near Victory Liner bus terminal and surrounded by Seven-eleven, Robinson’s market, Chowking, McDonald’s, Jollibee and walking distance St. Joseph Parish. Service and amenities seemed okay since staffs are friendly. The only thing missing was its cleanliness. When I got inside the room, it felt really really weird because there were many ***** stains in their bed linen. There was also a cockroach inside the toilet.
彭彭阿祖The surrounding environment of the hotel is good, just in the Subic area. But the facilities in the room are really bad. Very old. It is a very good choice if the boss can take the money to redecorate.
Sseiseki patrolIt is a cheap hotel facing the beach of Subic. When I booked an extremely cheap room, there was no air conditioner, but I lent a fan. It was a stay in March, but it was cool at night, so I was able to sleep without problems with the fan. The first floor was directly facing the beach and was a very cozy space, but on Sunday, people who seemed to be local were having a party with a rental, and it was difficult to spend a leisurely time.
Amenities were only soap, no hot water heater, no cup.
GGuest UserI'd admit 3 hotel staff members were welcoming and helpful in fulfilling my inquiries/requests. Then again one or possibly two other unnamed staff members were either rudely inconvenienced by the presence of us hotel guests with appeared to be a trickle of an attitude. If they don't like the job, then why must they be somewhat retained by the hotel's employer? It would also benefit the hotel to post in each room copies of the Jewel Cafe & Restaurants' menus for us guests who crave food daily, since the restaurant is just steps away from the sleep & stay. Otherwise my accomodation was satisfactory with plenty of stores, bars and outdoor food vendors along the national roadway.
YYangThe way I went to Benang by myself, so it was a bit complicated, but it's easy to get to the car. The exterior and facilities are old and old, but it is right next to the sea, so there is a advantage to go out to the beach at any time. When you come to family trips, children go to sand play and have a small pool. Food, water and drinks are not allowed to be brought from outside, so you should use the bar and restaurant in the resort. You have to walk about 100 meters to the 7-Eleven convenience store. Most meals are enjoyable between 300-400PESO and have a cocktail at night and have a good sea view. However, it is good to prepare because there are many bugs and mosquitoes
