Other fun activities (ALL within 2 miles away) include the famous Tampa Bay Downs, where horse back racing, poker and driving range are an everyday thing. Need to get away from the heat? go ice skating indoors at the Tampa Bay skating academy. Want a more low key beach day? Try the secluded, smaller beach area with walking trails and picnic shelters located at Mobbly Beach park. Sports fanatics look no further, Spring Training is a great family friendly pastime, February thru March. You can choose 3 teams to cheer on, all less than 10 miles away! Or travel further to find 12 more teams gearing up for the season. Can’t get here during spring training, then join us March thru November for the TB Rays regular season, or September thru February to cheer on the TB Buccaneers.
