"Beautiful ryokan. Authentic, relaxed and well-kept. Beautiful garden, located directly on a canal. A stone's throw from a quiet and beautiful shrine and the jetty for the traditional boats. The landlady speaks a little English and is very helpful. We had a large room on the top floor with a view of the canal. Everything is new, large and comfortable. For one or two nights a perfect place for a traditional Japanese overnight stay including Japanese breakfast. Great value for money. A great place off the beaten track. We would come again.
