Really no bottle of water in the room. Room size was good enough. Hot water was good. Reception was nice.
The carpet was too old to be cleaned. Heater was not that efficient that just better than nothing. Room located at different level which you feel get lost in the corridorsđ

The hotel is very nice and the surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The staff service is also very good and gave us a bottle of tap water. I slept for 11 hours and didn't have to adjust to the time difference at all. There was no jet lag at all.

Booked this hotel as we was going to the take that concert at city ground, it's very close to the city center with all the pubs and clubs in walking distance and even closer to Nottingham castle and ye old trip to Jerusalem bar which is a must visit very quirky. The staff are very friendly and polite and the hotel is very clean with all the amenities you would need for a break away. The hotel is in walking distance to the station but also has parking outside the hotel but is limited but the us a multi storey next door. We will definitely be using this hotel again next time we visit

cafe served good buffet breakfast .
reception staff are efficient and helpful.
housekeeping staff overlooked clearing of bin and refill of coffee and biscuits occasionally. overlooked to replaced hand soap after disposed old ones by staff.
Center bar guests did cause noise after 11pm.
otherwise overall is a good and pleasant venue.

Lovely hotel - couldnât get a better location sadly let down by the size of the room (bathroom was ok) but bedroom was very tight. By far the worst problem was a lack of working air conditioning. It was a hot night and although an air con unit was in the room we couldnât get it to work no matter what we tried. Due to the heat, sleep was a scarce commodity during our stay. If weâd have booked for longer than a night I would have not have slept in that room again if there was working no air con.

The reception staff were very polite, a gentleman who works at night was extremely friendly giving me snacks in the early hours because I was hungry and the kitchen was closed.
Only the cleaning staff made a lot of noise at 7:30am, a very early time to start, which could disturb guests who are still resting.

Just needed to put my head down for the night. Reception was friendly..I arrived late at 2340..friendly night guy..room was adequate for my needs..Room 9 cold tap handle was missing, but a shsve was possible and teeth with warm water..mattress protector needs a boil wash and new carpet would freshen things. Shower was luke warm but manageable..heating was fine..tv ok..1 night fine;)

GGuest UserIâd looked at previous reviews and wasnât sure what to expect, however we were really pleased with our stay. Location excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms, although bathroom a little tired, everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable and bedding nice quality. Nice touches included toiletries (espa) , kettle and coffee maker. We opted for the breakfast deal. Quality and selection of food both excellent. Would definitely book again.

GGuest UserThe location is a short 10mins walk to Nottingham castle and 15 mins to city center. The amenities is complete with washing machine, dish washer and stove to make decent meals. Both Bernie and David are very friendly and provided full explanation of the facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much.

IIrwinGreat place to stay in Nottingham - the staff is really good, and it is conveniently located near the downtown, so close to public transport and Albert Hall/Nottingham Playhouse (if that is of interest - tons of good pubs nearby if your interests differ). The availability of laundry facilities is a real plus.

JJulieThe hotel was lovely, The staff were very polite. The cleanliness was spot on. The breakfast is highly recommended. The room was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. Their executive suite had a beautiful bath and shower with all towels and other supplies that are needed for your stay including Iron and hair dryer and if you have forgot anything for example a toothbrush they will supply you with these items with there compliments. There is tea and coffee also a ground fresh coffee maker and a mini bar in the room that came with 2 bottles of water and a chocolate bar.The hotel has a gym which you can use between certain hours. You can hire rooms there for meetings and other events. If you are staying as a family my only advice is to ring ahead and make sure that there is a bed for your child because I booked for 3 of us and we did have to share a bed luckily it was us 3 girls myself, my daughter and my niece. The bed was very big so it was suitable it does state on trip they recomend to ring and check if you are unsure so you can get the best out of your stay.

GGuest UserClean room with perfect location, right in the centre of town. We got a room just by the fire exit, which spoiled the window view. The room had an air conditioner but you couldnât open any window to get some fresh air, which was the most significant downside of the room. The double bed was too small for 2 person to sleep on comfortably . The staff were polite and friendly.

MMorrighaniThis hotel is just a short walk away from the train station, which makes it pretty central regardless of where in Nottingham you need to go. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although I dislike the insistent emails on the lead in to my visit trying to get you to check in online. Good job I didn't, as I arrived early unexpectedly and was still able to get a room straightaway, whereas I would have had a couple of hours to wait if I'd done the online check in. This is a decent chain of hotels, I've had good experiences in the past and this visit was also fine. Only real complaint was the absence of biscuits with the tea and coffee set up in the room - surely a basic human right.

GGuest UserMy stay was for work and it was lovely. I slept really well in such a comfy bed.
I was disappointed by the spa area, the pool water was cold and the jacuzzi water was also cold and not even the slightest bit warm.
The breakfast was lovely with such a range to enjoy from. The food in the restaurant just seemed like itâs trying to be too fancy. For the price,there really wasnât much on the plate and it could have been seasoned more. The bar menu gave more promise than the restaurant so was a shame to have a nice setting but the food just didnât live up to it.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel. The service was great and the staff were excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!

BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
