SSHOHAGMy recent stay at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were spacious, modern, and offered stunning views of the city and mountains. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, with both local and international options. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable—especially the concierge team, who were incredibly helpful with travel tips and arrangements. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu for business or leisure!

Hygiene: The business is relatively clean, but it is hard to imagine that the hot water in the shower is not working, and it is still warm when taking a shower
Service: The service is relatively good. If you book breakfast and fly the next morning, you will be asked to choose whether to eat in or take away in advance

Although not a retreat, the lively atmosphere added to the experience, making it ideal for travelers wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture. Breakfast buffet has great selections and very tasty menu, service staff is extremely attentive to your needs and service deserves great commendation (every single one of them)! It was a bit difficult to read the names off the badges, managed to only saw Sabina’s and Arun’s name but there are just so many more staff whom I’d like to show appreciation from front desk to concierge and really everyone!
They do not just serve you but engage with you through conversations making you feel at ease and like at home during the stay. Liked how the laundry system works and also the gym which are both 24 hours. No complaints at all and I would definitely like to stay here again when I am at Nepal the next round.
10/10 recommend and you will have no regrets!

喵喵酱wThe hotel has a beautiful environment, good service, and a superior location. It is very close to the Boudhanath Stupa. The only drawback is that it is not easy to find. The hotel's restaurant and afternoon tea are also very delicious, and the price is acceptable. Overall, it is a very good experience. (If you are lucky, you can also meet a kitten(*^ω^*))

Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all.
The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great.
2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges.
Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience.
Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days.
Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern.
Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager.
A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

LLEE SULIThe location is great, yet quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle! There are 7 different choices for breakfast! There are indoor and outdoor restaurants. I like the great outdoor environment. Having breakfast there is a pleasure!
The staff service is very good and deserves praise! I don't understand English and I was traveling alone. The staff helped me call a taxi and helped me with all my needs! Makes me feel safe and comfortable!
If I have the opportunity to travel to Nepal again, I will still choose this hotel!

GGuest UserThe room and area was good, but I experienced a scam provided by the receptionist.
I have consulted the tour advice with the reception, the guy provided me an excellent two-day rafting package that called by a tourist agent.
In the tour, that was a disaster, the tour only half-day with 1/3 distance of his presented tour.
The cost he charged me is almost 5 times of the normal price in internet. I would prefer that should be a very special tour and different from I found in internet.
That was totally scam and waste my time and money, it was extremely affect my plan and mood. I would report this experience to the concerned parties. It really a shame of Nepalese.

There is air conditioning, hot water and card swipe door locks, which are advanced.

The service attitude of the staff at night is good, but the service attitude during the day is average.
In the evening, my friend in Kathmandu sent me to the hotel to pick up my luggage and take me to the airport. The hotel staff was even more hospitable.
