Airport Diana Hotel
"Excellent location right next to the airport, free pick up service. The staff are super attentive. Food and amenities are pretty basic but I only stay for a night before an early flight, acceptable for the room rate."
Kathmandu Boutique Hotel
"It is a good accommodation. Near Kathmandu Durbar Square and Thamel. Though my room,508, has faulty A/C. Also for the shower, there is no label if you turn right for hot or cold…it was confusing almot got burned 🤣"
SaraSadan Boutique Hotel - Tribhuvan Airport
"The staff were so kind, it really made for a wonderful stay!!"
Aarya Chaitya Inn
"The entrance was a bit hard to find. The staff were very kind and helpful, which was a big plus! Overall, I think it offers great value for money."
Hotel Anuttara, Boudha
"Island of comfort in a busy city. Next time would definitely stay here for longer."
Hotel Thrive, A Tropical Courtyard
"A flawless hotel. Lush and green. Breakfast was adequate. Dinner and coffee are also available. Everyone from the security team to the waiters was very kind. The location is very central. You can walk to Thamel, but it's a bit difficult as there are no sidewalks. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. We had no issues with bugs or lizards. The music played in the mornings is wonderful."
Holiday Inn Express KATHMANDU NAXAL by IHG
"Aamazing staff and good food! The hotel also provide cheap laundry service which is a plus points."
Hotel Palazzo
"First time I stay at Hotel Palazzo and I really enjoy. Location is perfect near Kalanki chowk, easy for bus and taxi. Room is clean, air condition work good, bathroom clean. The rooftop restaurant is amazing — good music, fresh air, and view of city lights. The food was tasty, and staff serve with smile. Security is all time present, even late night we feel safe to go up and eat. It’s really best hotel to stay around Kalanki."
Nepali Heritage Hotel
"The facilities are relatively new. It's close to the road but set back enough to be quiet. The small rooftop terrace is a nice bonus."

Moxy Kathmandu
"We just spent five amazing nights at Moxy Kathmandu, and honestly, it was such a great stay. The hotel has this cool, stylish vibe, and everything felt super clean — the rooms were really comfy too. But what really made our trip was the service. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were all so welcoming and polite, and their genuine, proactive attitude just warmed our hearts. Special shout-out to Kritan from the restaurant — not only does he speak fluent Chinese and English, but his attentive service and friendly smile were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Can’t recommend this place enough — easily a 10 out of 10."
Kathmandu Marriott Hotel
"We stayed for four nights and could hardly sleep well because the mattress was too soft—it was of one-star quality, yet they charged five-star prices. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. After coming back, my girlfriend and I had severe back pain. I will definitely never choose this hotel again."
Mercure Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights
"An average service from the front desk. Not so guest oriented."
Hotel Himalaya Kathmandu - Your Business & Leisure Retreat
"There were 4 huge cockroaches in my room. I killed 2, the other 2 were running around. I did not know how many more cockroaches were hiding in the room. I called reception to request for a change of room. Staff came quite promptly and assisted with change of room, which thankfully was much cleaner and without cockroaches. Definitely not a good first impression for a first-timer staying in the hotel. Other than that, hotel lobby and cafe were decent looking and clean."
Divine Kathmandu Hotel
"It's prosperous but quiet, with complete facilities. The restaurant doesn't have much but tastes good. The balcony on the top floor is beautiful. The room is clean and tidy, not far from the center of Thamel, just ten minutes walk."
Pashupati Boutique Hotel & Spa
"Sparkling clean, felt like staying in a Museum. Friendly staffs and GREAT FOOD."
Hotel Dolmaling - Stay for Cause
"It was pretty good. There was a free one-hour yoga class in the morning! The breakfast was quite substantial, and the staff were very polite and friendly! (Attached are a few photos of Bhaktapur Durbar Square!)"
Beautiful Kathmandu Hotel
"The hotel was great. Rooftop pool with lounge chairs to relax on. The location, close to everything, was fantastic!"
Jiu Ding Joy Hotel
"Thank you so much for your patient answers and thoughtful arrangements throughout the trip! Whether it was helping me coordinate rooms or providing travel advice, everything was done promptly and considerately. Your service was a real plus and even gave a handmade soap. Great! Looking forward to staying here again."
DOM Himalaya Hotel
"The breakfast was good, and the environment was nice. However, we had to catch a bus and were told we could take the breakfast to go, so we bought it. But the takeaway breakfast provided was very carelessly put together."
Hotel Tradition & Spa
"I think Hotel Tradition & Spa is great 👍👍👍, both the environment and the service are first-class, and the staff member Erisca deserves praise, thank you so much🙏 for her assistance. The hotel also provides free 15-minute foot massage, singing bowls and yoga classes to calm the body and mind. Such a hotel is very cheap, and the free breakfast is also very rich and delicious😋. This is definitely my first choice when I come to Kathmandu🎉🎉🎉."
Lakhey Hotel
"I saw recommendations for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, saying the owner speaks Chinese and is very nice, so I booked it on Ctrip. I decided to try adding the owner on WeChat. We started communicating even before departure, and he gave us great advice and promptly answered our questions. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were even more pleasantly surprised! The owner is young, handsome, thoughtful, and speaks excellent Chinese. Although the hotel isn't large, it's very cozy, clean, and tidy. The Sichuan food was especially delicious, and all the staff were very nice – from the security guard at the entrance, the driver, to the front desk ladies and gentlemen, everyone was wonderful. The best part is that the owner can arrange tours throughout Nepal. If you want to visit other cities like Chitwan or Pokhara, just reach out to him. He takes care of everything from car rentals to hotel bookings, so you don't have to worry about a thing."
Flock Kathmandu
"The hostel can help you wash your clothes, which is not expensive and very convenient. There is also a travel agency attached, where you can find one-day or multi-day tours."
Apex Business Hotel - Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
"Nice hotel good service, neat and cleaning room, roof top to sit for tea or coffee, good food quality"
Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel
"This four-star hotel is considered top-tier in Kathmandu. The breakfast spread is great, and the front desk service is exceptional. Laundry and room service are also excellent. It's just a short walk out of the alley to the Thamel shopping area."
