My wife and I stayed for one night on March 31st. All the staff are friendly and made our stay enjoyable. We ordered several dishes at the attached restaurant and were completely satisfied with every dish. It took a few minutes for the shower hot water to come out, but the staff explained the details in advance so we could enjoy the hot water without worrying. We recommend this hotel.

super convenient location in thamel district, kathmandu. v close to the garden of dreams and the main streets of the area, where there was a lot of buzz day and night. the hotel is far back enough from these streets that the noise doesn't affect sleep in any way. rooftop terrace was a nice touch

Ok, so my review is completely honest, and as such, based on value, I have to give 5/5, but for me personally, I wouldn't stay again. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. This is very important indeed, and again based on the price, the standards are exceptional, especially pertaining to cleanliness and overall tidiness. This is more of a hotel though - a sort of hybrid between private rooms and small dormitories. As a backpacker (though from time to time it is nice to have a quieter and cleaner place), I look for more atmosphere, socially speaking. There were other tourists here, but it was very quiet indeed. The rooftop was very pleasant though, and they did have football showing on the television. The ambience there is nice and I was given a complimentary tea, though the menu prices are expensive. The showers had hot water most of the time, but not always. The WiFi (not the fault of the hotel) was also down due to street repairs for my stay, so I can't comment on the speed. Lastly, the owner was accommodating and pleasant and likewise the staff too. Again, to reiterate, for the price, the value is very good indeed, it's just not my personal preference. I booked a room for 4 with AC but couldn't stay. They took me to a room for 6. They always cheat. They do the same to other customers. You can eat on the rooftop but it's not tasty and the staff have no manners. They're not motivated. There were bugs in the room and the guests were always eating. The only good thing was that they had a spa and the sauna was great. I stayed for 2 days. I couldn't stand it so I paid extra and stayed in a private room.

The environmental hygiene of this youth hostel is maintained all day long. The beds and quilts are thick and warm. They are very comfortable to lie on and cover. It feels like home (the air conditioning is also very strong) and is more comfortable than other youth hostels. Each bed also has curtains to protect privacy, as well as international charging sockets and lights. Each bunk has its own locked storage space (a deposit is required for the key). The public bathroom facilities are very clean and are available on all floors. They are always cleaned, but it also depends on the character and ethics of other residents. The hot water is a little too warm, so it's not warm enough for washing in the middle of the night. There is no laundry station or clothes drying area for guests to use. It is best to bring your own hangers or have them washed directly. The counter is staffed 24 hours a day. Another feature is that the public space here is particularly comfortable and spacious. The independent restaurants on the first to third floors and the landscape restaurant on the top floor provide excellent rest and social space, and provide quite high-quality catering services. The only problem is that spending money here is not cheap. This place also provides hiking planning services and a simple mountaineering clothing store.

Clean rooms with clean bathrooms. Great location. Very simple but just what you need in this vibrant city where you are out all day. Would come back to stay
