We checked in in the morning, which we were very grateful to them for allowing us to do. Everyone was so kind and helpful even after we realized there was a problem with our reservation. They worked with us and never tried to charge us for the mistake even though they certainly could have (especially when it took a few days for our travel agent to fix it). The food was delicious, every single person was friendly and helpful. We also got massages at the spa and were so happy and relaxed. They even held our luggage for free for a few days while we went on an excursion. The rooms they gave us for the second half of our stay were even nicer than the first. They were in the process of filing the pool and we really enjoyed sitting out by it even though they were laying even more pretty tile (the hotel is very beautiful as it is, even nicer than the pictures). I will say the internet passwords kept expiring which was annoying, but they always gave us a new code without any issue except the minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

It is little bit far from the city center but hotel is amazing like a heaven on earth. Architecture and landscape is perfect. Spa personnel is not kind and friendly. And also there was a problem in the bathroom with water they waited for fixing and cleaning so long.

Unforgettable Stay at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Butler Abdoullah and the entire team at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech for making our stay truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations, and it became an unforgettable experience. We celebrated my fiancée's birthday, and to make it even more special, I proposed to her — and she said yes! Abdoullah and the entire team played an integral role in making this moment so magical, and we are beyond thankful for their part in making it so memorable. Abdoullah, in particular, was absolutely outstanding as our butler. Not only did he provide us with fantastic dining recommendations outside the hotel, but he also fulfilled every wish we had, making us feel truly special throughout our stay. His attention to detail and personalized service were beyond exceptional. It felt like nothing was too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile. The warmth and hospitality we received from everyone, both in Marrakech and at the hotel, were truly beyond anything we could have hoped for. The spa and hammam experience was pure relaxation — we felt like we were floating on air. The restaurants, food and sightseeing tours were incredible, and every experience was made even better by Abdoullah’s thoughtful guidance. Thanks to Abdoullah's impeccable service, our stay at the Mandarin Oriental was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We felt completely cared for and pampered in every way possible. Thank you again for making our time in Marrakech so remarkable. These memories will last forever, and we can’t wait to return. Warm regards, Danika & Matthias

Definitely a very very old heritage hotel with a lot of history! The hotel premises are stunning. The reception and lounge staff were so nice and helpful.
I do think, the hotel could do with a litte but of refurbishing especially for the rooms. But I cannot complain! Got the best deal, and had a really good time and the breakfast out in the garden under orange trees was like straight out of a movie! Loved it!!!
Great location, close to many more hip and happening hotels, bars, restaurants and cafes.

The hotel feels very good, the room is not very big, the bathroom is a little old, some service staff are a little impatient, and some are very good. But the bed is quite comfortable and there is a big balcony. The scenery of the yard and the swimming pool are nothing to say. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation. The price is more expensive than the Four Seasons in Tunisia, so the price of more than 400 is actually a bit expensive. But guests who are not sensitive to price must choose this place.
In its modern building in the colors of the Ochre City, ibis Marrakech Palmeraie has 147 air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom, desk area, television and free WIFI. To relax, our hotel offers a bar, an international restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool with terrace. It also has a meeting room to host your business meetings.

The TV didn't work and it was from the nineties anyway. The room could do with some refurbishment especially in the bathroom. The room wasn't very clean and we had to wipe down some of the surfaces ourselves including in the bathroom. We initially got a room facing the motorway and we might as well have been sleeping outside due to the noise. We asked to be moved to a non smoking room - BIG MISTAKE - Yes we were moved but not only were we moved to another smoking permitted room, but the room was facing the pool. I've never been bitten by so many mosquitoes in my life. I've had to seek medical attention following my holiday. The reality of the room became clearer in the morning. There were marks of dead mosquitoes everywhere implying that previous guests had spent time getting rid of mosquitoes just to get some sleep. The toilet flushing unit wasn't working properly. I would not recommend this hotel and other reviews about insufficient serving spoons in the dining room and the poor level of cleanliness are true.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It is convenient to travel and the surrounding facilities are complete, but when I checked in, a very strange thing happened. The hotel gave me a room on the third floor. When I reached the third floor by elevator, I found the third floor Many rooms are being renovated, and workers come and go in a messy feeling. I thought maybe only a few rooms were being remodeled and didn’t care. When I continued to go to my own room, I found that there was still a section that was using a percussion drill to hit the ground. The sound was loud and dusty, and I immediately turned back to the front desk of the hotel to ask for another room. The quiet environment, the hotel hesitated and gave me a room on the fourth floor, but when I entered the room after arriving on the fourth floor, the sound of the impact drill was still loud , There was no way to rest comfortably, so I had no choice but to contact Ctrip's customer service. In the end, the customer service communicated with the hotel and changed me to a room on the fifth floor on the other side. It was very quiet and gave me an unexpected compensation voucher , Thanks to Ctrip's customer service!
I mainly want to make complaints about writing this review. As a five-star international chain hotel, the hotel is undergoing renovations during the period of receiving guests, and the guests are arranged in rooms on the decoration floor, which is simply unbelievable!

Regarding the room, a mixed start to my stay and a first evening, being very manic and looking at cleanliness, my first room was very dusty and poorly insulated, the next day, the reception team told me about it. changed rooms, much less dust but not up to my expectations, I think the rooms need a little more maintenance and refreshing.
Regarding the common areas, cleanliness is excellent and hydroalcoholic gel is available.
As for the gym and the swimming pool, great I have nothing to say, very well maintained.
The catering is correct too bad some of the hotel's restaurants are closed due to the Covid.
The agents at the reception, catering, SPA and swimming pool are attentive and are very responsive.
Too bad there is no possibility of transfer from the airport which is very nice when you land at 11:50 pm.
Finally, the stay went well despite some improvements to be made and a sense of detail to be developed.
Thank you for this stay.

During my delightful 4-night stay at this Marrakech riad, I was enchanted by the spacious and beautifully designed room that became a cozy haven. Its prime location, just a 10-minute stroll from Jemma El Fna, offered the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The rooms are clean and the linens and towels crisp whites. A special highlight was the exceptional hospitality extended by Youssef, the owner. His willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort was truly commendable. Youssef's personal touch was evident in every aspect of my stay, from accommodating special requests to seamlessly arranging transportation needs. His dedication added an extra layer of warmth to charming Riad experience. Highly recommend for those seeking not just accommodation, but an authentic and personalized Marrakech retreat.

We stayed at this Riad for 3 nights from Thursday 7th Sept 2023 with another couple and were staying there the night of the devastating earthquake. More of that later. We had emailed the Riad ahead of time and were picked up at Marrakech Airport and subsequently taken back there and allowed to add the transfer cost to our rooms. On arrival we were met near the main road -Dar El Bacha and were walked to the Riad through small alleyways. Mustafa and Khalid introduced themselves and served hot Mint Tea. Patrick then have us a tour and shared the history of the refurbishment of the Riad including the strengthening of new foundations. Something we were subsequently truly thankful of. The whole team at this Riad deserve credit for the way they looked after guests following the earthquake on 8th Sept with Mustafa guiding us all out to stand in safety ahead of being allowed back inside. Each day a tasty breakfast was served with hot drinks, yoghurts and preserves and local Breads and fruit. Very tasty! Each day Mustafa or Mohamed would recommend places to visit and showed us on maps.me how to get there on smartphones without connectivity. The ladies who cleaned our Superior Rooms did so with a passion and always smiled and said hello when we saw them around the Riad. This was hospitality at its finest under the most stressful of circumstances for the RIad team some of whine couldn’t initially contact their relatives to see if they were safe. Thank you to you all for a memorable stay. If you are reading this and are going to Marrakech don’t consider anywhere else to stay - book here for a memorable stay. We had drinks on the roof terrace and the girls also had a swim in the Riad’s pool.
赵赵The first sight was amazing, the hotel, the room, the bathroom, the balcony were very large, the decoration was magnificent, the details were very attentive and the service was very good. The welcome snack is great, the bed is very comfortable, and the net red indoor swimming pool must be taken. The buffet breakfast category is rich in Morocco, but it is not suitable for Chinese tastes. The only downside is that the consumption is high, and a cup of juice at the pool side costs 80 dirhams. The hotel has a casino and did not go due to time.
GGlobal01344442605Loved our stay here. The hotel was traditional and had fabulous views. Our room was lovely and traditional style, although a bit dark sometimes to find anything. We had a guided tour when we arrived which was nice. Some of the tented rooms looked fabulous! The staff were wonderful, attentive, and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was an amazing spread with a lot of food! We loved not having a menu in the evening and the surprise of dinner each evening! The food was fabulous. The hotel was quiet while we were there which was just what we needed to relax, and before our next stop in the city. There is a yoga area and lovely lounge area where you can sit and read a book. Or sit by the pool and relax with towels provided. Will definitely stay here again when back in Marrakech.
I stayed at Amour D'Auberge over the new year - I was looking for a hostel that was relatively quiet and laid back, in a good location. Hiba, Nadia, Faisal and Jamil run the hostel together and every interaction I had with each of them was very positive! They were super friendly and helpful. I shared an 8-bed female room and had no problems with it - the beds are comfortable and warm, and you get a key-locked cupboard to store your valuables. The hostel is in a fantastic central location, just five minutes walk to the big square! Even though the hostel itself was pretty quiet there is a jazz bar next door, which did mean that sometimes it was loud late at night - but I just used ear plugs and it didnt disturb me too much. Also, while I was staying they were having some building work done which was noisy during the day, however I was out and about most of the time so it didn't cause me any problems. Overall I would recommend Amour D'Auberge and would stay here again in future :-)

This is a great value hotel - the beds were very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also - definitely go for the breakfast!! Pool is clean and great for a cool off and a swim. We very much enjoyed our stay. Titos restaurant nearby is also a must !
GGuest UserWhat can I say, wonderful welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The air conditioned room was impeccably clean with tasteful traditional decor. Peaceful, and practical. Plenty of piping hot water for a good soak in the en-suite tiled bathroom. Meals can be enjoyed in the verdant courtyard or on the roof terrace and nezha make THE BEST mint tea in the city HANDS DOWN! (We've tried a few believe me!) The traditional breakfasts are hearty and set you up perfectly for a day's exploring. The riad is located a short walk from a bustling intersection with easy access to the old towns labyrinth of market streets and stalls. You CAN get a nice hotel out of town with a pool and all Inc drinks etc etc etc but you're not in the thick of it which, after all, is what Marrakech is all about to us.
GGuest UserWe came to the hotel with more than 10 people. The welcome is great. People are smiling and say yes to everything without sometimes even understanding. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and our room was half done. We couldn't shower because the towels hadn't been provided. The lady in the hallway refused to give them to us. She preferred to chat on WhatsApp. Rooms never ready before 4-5 p.m. Imagine when you've been away all day and you just want to take a shower but you can't because your room isn't ready. The aesthetic department downstairs should be avoided. I did my treatments in the hall and since the beautician was taking a long time (a taxi was waiting for her 1 hour later) I did not get my entire service but I had to pay the ENTIRETY. In short, I give it a 5/10 because the place is nice and quiet. The service needs to be seriously reviewed.
I rarely take the time to review but I felt some reviews were unfair. I was worried after reading the reviews after I had booked. I think most are unfair. I think people are confusing this for a 5* The prices for a couple are a little more than you would pay for a shared room in a hostel. The hotel is basic and was more than adequate for our stay. contrary to some reviews I found the staff very friendly and polite. The breakfast is basic and buffet style. A selection of 3 types of bread, boiled eggs, Green tea, coffee, pastries , Cakes, juice, msemen, cereal and a microwave to warm things if you need to. The hotel is slightly further than most but perfectly accessible. 10 minutes in taxi 13-15drh in day 30dh at night £1.5-£3 cheap. Taxis easily flagged down on the main road opposite. language is possibly an issue as other than 1 or 2 they dont really speak english. They were upfront about pricing and whilst some things they do try charging a premium for in comparison with the shops outside they are not too dear. Like everything in Marrakesh be streetsmart, ask for clarification of charges and question any charges you feel are incorrect. I was asked to pay taxes on my checkout and I had already paid it on arrival. I questioned it and he quickly corrected his error. whether he was hustling or just made an error I dont know but he was polite and corrected himself. From the old pictures on websites and from the foyer it is obvious that this place was once quite nice. it is at present tired and needs a refurb but this is reflected in the price. This is Marrakesh, the hustle is real. do your research and book something that is appropriate for you in your budget. dont book 3 star and expect 5 star. hope this helps someone considering booking I enjoyed my stay.
