Mountain View Hotels in Shirahama

I went on a hot spring trip every year at a pace of about once a year, but I couldn't go on a trip all the time due to the influence of Corona, so this time it was my first trip in ３ years. I like the hot springs and sea views of Nanki Shirahama, and I have visited many times in the past, but I used the Shiraraso Grand Hotel for the first time this time. Shirarahama is in front of my eyes, the view from the room is very good, the hot spring is very good, and the skin becomes smooth. As for the meal, it was just the right amount for us, but I thought it was a little less and unsatisfactory for young people, and the rice for dinner was not white rice, but cooked rice. If you want white rice, you can offer it from here, but if you don't say anything, it won't come out. Besides, the rice bowl is a small bowl that I think is for children, and it comes out in a small amount, so if you think it is troublesome to refill it many times, you should tell it from the beginning. The employees were basically very customer service attitude, and there were only a few unfriendly people, but most employees 々 responded comfortably. ３ I stayed for a night, but I was slowly soaked in the hot springs and healed with delicious food.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint. We booked a room with a private onsen that overlooks the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather was gloomy and/or rainy most of the trip, but the view was still spectacular, and the onsen was incredible. The hotel itself has an older exterior, but the inside is immaculate. There is a bar with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The Italian restaurant also has floor to ceiling windows that look over the pool. Our suite was the best (and biggest) hotel room that we stayed in while visiting Japan (including a massive shower, a double sink vanity, and a seat for the vanity). However, we did book a suite with a king bed, but were told that all of the rooms have 2 twin beds that can be pushed together. It was not ideal, but that was the only issue that we had. Infinito also had the most in-room amenities out of all of the hotels we stayed at in Japan. Infinito provided the usual amenities (hair dryer, water bottles, tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath slippers, etc.) AND several additional amenities (cookies to eat with tea, hair straightener, a second set of Bulgari amenities, a skin treatment set, hotel wear, indoor and outdoor slippers, etc.). The staff was absolutely fantastic. My husband had arranged for flowers in the room for our arrival, and the hotel was very responsive and able to accommodate his request. In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting Chiho, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Chiho (and the rest of the hotel management and staff) helped us find restaurants and make reservations, and even arranged for shuttle service to the restaurants. The hotel also provided a shuttle from Shirahama station and a shuttle to Nanki-Shirahama Airport. One thing to note is that the hotel is still strict with Covid policies (moreso than the other places we stayed in Japan), so be prepared to fill out a questionnaire and wear gloves when dining at the buffets. Infinito is a little out-of-the-way, but is definitely worth the trek.

Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

Apply for two households through a travel agency. So I don't know if it's Mr. Musashi or the travel agency's responsibility, but I was still disappointed. I added the number of people via a travel agency, but it was not properly cooperated. I was worried about Corona and had dinner in a private room instead of a buffet, but I had to wait because it wasn't prepared for one person. I didn't choose a buffet for breakfast individually, but I was able to get a seat at the end of the buffet venue and drinks freely from the buffet venue. The three-color rice balls for children's breakfast were hard and dried and could not be eaten. If you tell me that, you can eat buffet bread or white rice, but. When I went to the buffet, there was most of our breakfast. What a bit of a buffet stuff ...? ! What a cut-off. .. Disappointed. .. All the children want to eat buffet food! It was difficult to knead Da 々. Perhaps because it was a reservation via a travel agency, it was difficult to get the stairs with heavy luggage because it became an annex. Is the cute yukata on the 14th floor of the main building? I was disappointed that I had to be the above guests. Now I have a pretty cute yukata service everywhere, but there is too much gap in the hotel. The swimsuit dehydrator was old, and the lid was broken, so it didn't play its role. I'm just wearing a long-established name. The location is not good, but it may be better to take a shuttle bus to Shirarahama.

The water temperature in the bathtub is very comfortable. It is probably the hot spring water. The boss enthusiastically sent us to the seafood market. The room was large when the family was traveling. There was a washing machine and a dryer. Even prepared breakfast for us.

The Chinese boss and the little girl at the front desk were also Chinese and provided us with very good service. They drove to the station and saw that we were still waiting for the bus, and gave us a ride to the fish market. They also helped us check out delicious places in the evening, allowing us to stay in a foreign land. I feel warm and the service is great! The hotel is on the beach, and the family room has 4 single beds, which is very good. The convenience store is right opposite. There was no breakfast available during the time we went, so it was very convenient to buy something to eat! There is a large local Japanese supermarket Gourmet City within 50 meters, where you can buy fireworks. The freedom of fireworks on the beach at night is a great happiness for children in the city! The roast pork shop run by an old lady next door is a treasure shop, with good value for money and good taste. There is no need to queue up to join in the fun. Like it, I will come again next time!

The location is inconvenient, but it is not a distance that can't walk because it is about 20 minutes walk from the adventure world. I called a taxi to the airport and was kind. The bath was heated but it was a large space with natural hot springs, clean and nice large bath. It will be a separate building that will once come out of the hotel. The outerwear provided in the room was hard to walk. There is only shampoo inrinse and body soap, so if you are interested in hair, you should bring a conditioner. The morning baked bread is very delicious. It is a pity that there is only foaming sake and tuhai on the vending machine. I am glad that there are wine and local beer.

Ah, おじいさん at the front desk is really serious. He speaks Japanese English very seriously. Because it is serious, sometimes it seems to be serious. They are actually very friendly people. I watched and bowed when I checked out, so I was not used to it. The room is a bit old, but the room is spacious. The facilities should be there. The location is near the three sections of the scenic spot. You can walk to a Lawson convenience store. You can buy a one-day and two-day ticket for local buses at Shirahama Station. I stayed here with a female friend the other day. The room was spacious and there was plenty of space to relax. My dog ​​was excited and wagged her tail in delight. There is an indoor dog run and shower room, which is very comfortable for people with pets. The accommodation fee is also reasonable, so I think it is good value for money. The warm hospitality of the staff, the fun time spent with my dog, the comfortable room, and the delicious food. Everything was a wonderful memory. I look forward to my next visit.
