AAChuaAccommodation was lovely and centrally located to shirarahama beach. It was a 3 minute walk from the bus stop. It was well stocked with amenities and the room was large and clean. The lady boss is Chinese so you can communicate by Chinese. They are incredibly kind and helped me get to the hospital when I injured my ankle. They are people that you can trust. Breakfast was also delicious! Chinese food is yummy and a nice break from Japanese cuisine.

GGuest UserI spent three days in Shirahama, staying here for two nights. The hotel service, food, and onsen experience were absolutely fantastic! The owner is Chinese, and the staff speaks Mandarin. The service was the best I've ever experienced. Compared to the expensive ocean view and onsen rooms recommended on Douban, it was incredibly cost-effective. Free shuttle service to Shirahama Station was provided. Soaking in the onsen at night with the sea breeze was wonderful, and afterwards, there was delicious ice cream! Meals need to be booked a day in advance and there's a high-quality seafood selection. The sukiyaki set meal is probably the highest-rated restaurant in Shirahama and definitely worth trying! The room provided tea and teaware, which was great, and offered a partial sea view. The decor was very tasteful! My trip to Shirahama has come to a perfect end!

SSuimuzhongnanshanAs I write this review, my thoughts are overflowing. I recall all my experiences in Japan, the diverse people I met, and the fun I had with friends. I don't know what to write; perhaps it's just my personality—not good with words. But I enjoy quietly caring for others. First, I want to thank Mr. Yamamoto for his warm hospitality. I greeted this gentleman in my limited Japanese, knowing only a few phrases. I wanted to say something, but my language skills are limited, which is a pity. Meeting is truly fate. I don't know if I'll meet my landlord again in Japan, but I think I will if I return to Shirahama. As the saying goes, ”Though the room is humble, its virtue is fragrant,” and it is this traditional tatami that carries on a long-standing culture. I don't know what kind of work I'll do in the future, or whether I'll be happy, but during my time in Shirahama, I experienced what true life is. If you'd like to experience Japanese tatami, I think you should choose this guesthouse. There's also a hot spring, but unfortunately, my leg was injured, so I couldn't soak. That's a regret, but life is like that—there are gains and losses. That's all for now. Wishing you good health, all the best, and a harmonious family.

GGuest UserThis is a extension of the shirahama key terrace hotel next door but at a affordable price. U get to use all the amazing onsen facilities which has outdoor bath facing the ocean. Take a dip at the outdoor foot bath in morning after breakfast. The rooms are modern industrial style so it’s kind of bare looking, ok for me just to sleep. It also has a large common area with full kitchen. U can buy food from supermarket and cook super and breakfast yourself here.

GGuest UserFacilities: The onsen is a traditional Japanese hot spring. While the outdoor bath doesn't offer scenic views, the water temperature was perfect. We stayed in a Japanese-style room this time. The occupancy was low, so it was peaceful and uncrowded. Cleanliness: It was spotless and met all standards. Environment: The location is fantastic! It's right next to Senjojiki and just a 3-5 minute walk from the only small restaurant in the vicinity.

GGuest UserThe comfort exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly adequate for a family of three. The price-performance ratio was extremely high. The toiletries were all from Pola, and the tatami mats were very clean. Cooking was possible, the refrigerator was large enough, and the two air conditioners cooled down quickly. Since we drove there, parking was free. It was very convenient for shopping and sightseeing, and the nearby attractions were definitely worth visiting.

HHaoliBy making a reservation for check-in in advance, I was able to borrow the key smoothly. Although it is far from the information center, it is easy to find. Since I used it for motorcycle touring, there was a garage with an electric shutter on the first floor, which gave me a sense of security. There are restaurants far away, but they have tableware and cooking utensils, so I was able to shop at Toretore Market and a drugstore and have a drink at home, which was very satisfying.

GGuest UserThe kids were thrilled with the dome-shaped room! It was a Japanese-style room, so they had a great time running around and doing cartwheels! The mattresses could have been a little thicker! The breakfast and dinner buffets had a slightly limited selection, but the fresh sashimi was fantastic! It was a shame that the hot springs opened so late in the morning! Next time, I'd like to stay in a different room!

GGuest UserThe Japanese-style house was dismantled into a guest house. It is only for girls. It is better. It is not a mixed bag. The owner Rinji is a man, but it seems that he can't live here, so our actions are OK. If you don’t bring your own towel in the bath, use the towel at the homestay for 100yan, and wash your clothes for 100yan.

GGeraldLim1Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!
