EElco WangStayed at this traditional Japanese-style hotel for three nights, the overall experience is very good, especially recommended to guests who pay attention to cultural experience, food and intimate service.
• Japanese style is strong: The rooms are pure Japanese style, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
• Top level of catering: The level of the hotel restaurant is impressive! Master chef (reservation at least one day in advance), definitely worth a special trip.
• Great location and view: The hotel is conveniently located, there is a bus stop within a 5-minute walk. The highlight is that it is very close to the pier, where the sunrise scenery in the early morning is magnificent and charming, and it is not to be missed. It takes about 30 minutes (2 kilometers) to walk to the local seafood market, and it is very convenient to purchase fresh ingredients. There are various small stones in the entrance pier, friends who like to fish don't miss it!

◦ The hot spring facilities in the hotel are very well maintained, clean and hygienic, and the bath is very comfortable.
◦ The service team is especially commendable! The service staff is very attentive, especially one of the girls from Taiwan Province of China, with a gentle and meticulous attitude and special caring. There is also a enthusiastic Japanese uncle, not only treating people kindly, but also taking the initiative to provide pick-up and drop-off services, taking us to restaurants, attractions and even the train station, greatly improving convenience and travel experience.

QQizhuonainiuheniunaiyeGreat accommodation experience. I thought that a B&B hotel with a price of more than 200 yuan a night should not be very good, but it was higher than expected.
The location is actually OK. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to Shirahama Beach. It is also very close to the bus station. You can walk there in three to five minutes.
Back to the hotel itself, the room is actually quite large, which is more than enough for one or two people. It is a tatami with a quilt on top. The air-conditioning and the bathroom are quite clean. Although it is an older hotel, it is really clean. It feels like living in Nobita Nobi's house.
The attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. The old grandfather and grandmother are very patient. They lent me the charger immediately when I forgot to bring it.
It is worth mentioning that Shirahama Onsen has a large bathhouse and an open-air shower. It is very suitable for couples to travel or group travel. It is a bit hairy to live alone hahahaha.
Overall, it is highly recommended. I will choose this hotel if I have the opportunity to come to Shirahama next time. Keep it up.

Later, we decided to stay at this hotel after seeing many good reviews on Google and Japan Hotel Reservation Network. The staff are very kind and friendly, the room is comfortable and there is a private bath. Because we checked in on Christmas Day, the hotel also arranged a bingo game, and every participating guest also received a gift, which was very happy! We chose a room with two meals, and they also got a big chicken spleen for Christmas, which was very filling and satisfying! ! A very unforgettable experience. The room is as good as the picture. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Shirahama! The quality of one stay and two meals is also very high! The bear bison and abalone are really delicious.

GGuest UserThe seaside room is very large, clean and comfortable, with an open-air footbath. Although the bath is not too big, the environment is comfortable. The resting area is large, with a library, massage machine, etc.
There are free drinks, alcohol, soda and coffee in the lobby and rest room.
The food in the restaurant is rich and delicious. I booked breakfast and dinner, both in buffet style. You can cook your own fish for breakfast and steam seafood for dinner.

00yaoyao2029The hotel is very close to the station, and Google map ”MU” is very clear and convenient. The front desk guy can communicate fluently in English and the introduction is very clear. Four girls shared a room. It was the first time for me to fold the tatami by myself. It was very convenient and clean.
In addition, the hot spring room on the first floor is also clean. It is currently off-season and the hot spring room is reserved. Luckily~ Finally, there is a restaurant on the second floor, which has everything from bread, coffee, eggs and milk. 👍🏻

ЮЮрий555Grampus Shirahama A modest hotel right near the ocean. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was all dirty. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer. The breakfast was nearly the same as in every other hotel in Japan, though the grilled fish was a bit stale. The dining room has a wonderful view over the ocean. The staff almost didn’t speak English but tried to help anyways. Plus: the hotel has its own onsen. Minus: no bathroom in the rooms, only toilets on the floor, no shower.

RRuiThe hotel is equivalent to domestic Samsung, but the room is large, one double bed and one single bed, two double sofas, one massage chair. Right to the sea, there is a supermarket downstairs and very close to the bus stop. If you don't buy a day card in Shirahama, the bus needs to pay cash, and various kinds of transportation cards such as watermelon cards will not work. One poise and two foods, the meal is not luxurious, but it is definitely an experience. If there is an introduction, there will be a special person to send it to the room. Someone from the store will help with the luggage, drive the door, and send a farewell. Hot springs are 150 yen per person. This time, the children who were under 6 years old did not receive extra money for accommodation, and there was no extra charge for sharing meals with adults.

GGuest UserThe view is stunning, but taking the bus to Oura Station means you have to drag your suitcases up a bit, or catch the 6:00 PM shuttle bus from Shirahama Station. It's worth checking the shuttle bus schedule beforehand; the last one seems to be around 5:00 PM. The bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but the other services are good. With fewer Chinese tourists, it's mostly Japanese families with children. The indoor pool is a bit small, mostly occupied by the children. The breakfast was okay and filling, a typical hotel buffet, but they do offer mentaiko and tuna. On the way back, the hotel booked a taxi to the airport, which took 10 minutes. It's a bit far from Shirarahama, Senjojiki, and Sandanbeki, so it's best to get a timetable and have change ready if you're taking the bus.

GGeraldLim1Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!
