Hot Springs Hotels in Shirahama

We stopped at this place late in the evening, after walking a trail of the Kumano Kodo and I must say I have no words for how good it was. The room was incredible, food was served until 8pm and was both delicious and well-priced, the shower/Onsen was great and the location is perfect. Had the best sleep in a long time!

I rented this hot spring hotel in Baibin this time. I personally feel that it is very worthwhile. The room is clean, there is a separate bathroom and a private style. When I checked in, the staff proposed to drink at the lounge. The small gift and the toiletries were the same. We immediately sighed and sighed. Two cups of draft beer, this arrangement is very intimate. Dinner can be arranged at 6 or 7 o'clock. The ingredients are very rich. The abalone is delicious, and the Kumano and the cattle are delicious. Every time the staff at the meal has an explanation, although the communication is difficult, but the squatting is very dedicated to using Google translate translation than mine. The service is really unbearable. I originally bought the plum wine and planned to drink in the room. I was worried about how to ask them to drink ice cubes. I knew that as soon as I entered the room, there was a large edible ice bucket to place the cabinet. I immediately felt that the hotel was really intimate! The second morning breakfast can be picked at 9 o'clock, because we plan to get up and soak in the hot spring again, breakfast is also rich, eat to take a belly room. Overall, this experience is good, it is worth recommending!

We had an amazing stay at Bakery Hotel Shirahama. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and every corner felt cozy and welcoming. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to everything we needed, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. You can really feel the Japanese hospitality here. The amenities were well prepared and thoughtfully provided, making our stay very comfortable. And of course, the bakery theme is such a lovely touch everything felt warm, cute, and unique. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for a trip with friends!

Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!

For just over 1000 yen, getting a one-night stay with two meals for two people, plus a sea view, is incredible value! The dinner buffet, while not huge, had excellent quality ingredients. We feasted on delicious salmon and tuna. The room was spacious. Sure, there were a few minor imperfections in some corners, but for this price, I can't complain. The only real issue was that the hotel only offers free luggage storage until 3 PM. They didn't mention this when we dropped off our bags. Halfway through our Kumano Kodo hike, a friend behind me delivered the bad news. I ended up having to carry six people's luggage to our next accommodation all by myself. It was quite a heartbreaking experience.

Great accommodation experience. I thought that a B&B hotel with a price of more than 200 yuan a night should not be very good, but it was higher than expected. The location is actually OK. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to Shirahama Beach. It is also very close to the bus station. You can walk there in three to five minutes. Back to the hotel itself, the room is actually quite large, which is more than enough for one or two people. It is a tatami with a quilt on top. The air-conditioning and the bathroom are quite clean. Although it is an older hotel, it is really clean. It feels like living in Nobita Nobi's house. The attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. The old grandfather and grandmother are very patient. They lent me the charger immediately when I forgot to bring it. It is worth mentioning that Shirahama Onsen has a large bathhouse and an open-air shower. It is very suitable for couples to travel or group travel. It is a bit hairy to live alone hahahaha. Overall, it is highly recommended. I will choose this hotel if I have the opportunity to come to Shirahama next time. Keep it up.

Exquisite kaiseki dinners featuring the ocean's freshest treasures, paired with all-you-can-drink sake, beer, and whisky. It’s a feast for the soul where you never have to say ”no.” You don't just leave this place relaxed. You leave reborn, carrying the taste of a life lived more fully, if only for a weekend. It’s an investment in your soul.

This was my second stay at Shirahama-kan, and as before, I booked a room with a foot bath. Although the hotel is a bit old, the room was very spacious with three beds, and my child and I slept very comfortably. The location is right in the center of the beach; you just cross the road to get to Shirahama Beach. There are also many restaurants nearby, as well as a 24-hour supermarket and Daiso for shopping. The hotel service was very warm and welcoming. There's even a kitchen in the hotel, so you can buy meat from the big supermarket and grill it yourself. Highly recommended!

Grampus Shirahama A modest hotel right near the ocean. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was all dirty. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer. The breakfast was nearly the same as in every other hotel in Japan, though the grilled fish was a bit stale. The dining room has a wonderful view over the ocean. The staff almost didn’t speak English but tried to help anyways. Plus: the hotel has its own onsen. Minus: no bathroom in the rooms, only toilets on the floor, no shower.

Arrive at JR Shirahama Station and then transfer to the taxi for about 4 minutes. It is very close to Toretore market and can be reached on foot. The rooms are panda-shaped and spacious inside. Dinner and breakfast are buffet style
