Amazing
GGuest UserПрекрасный небольшой отель в тихом месте.
Очень внимательные сотрудники, обильный завтрак и ужин, удобства в хорошем состоянии.
Есть интернет, парковка, горячая вода без перебоев.
SSharthakThe receptionist was extremely helpful. He helped me to drive out of the hotel (very hilly and small pathway). He also helped us with our requests.
The view from the hotel is incredible. From the balcony you can see the Petra entrance and the lights at night
CChangThis place is sort of a boutique hotel opened by locals and not one of the big chain hotels and it’s location (point 1) is slightly further away from the city centre and it’s located on the hillside and there is no way you can walk there, you definitely need a car to reach this place from Petra Visitor Center ( hence please take a cab ) but it was fine for us as we drove. The price we paid was somewhat expensive ( due to its peak season) but all the hotels nearby were on the high side. Rooms are exceptionally clean and it even smell of freshly laundered sheets, good ventilation and breakfast was decent. We had dinner here as well 20JOD for the buffet dinner per person and it was great on the weekend nights but on a weekday nights the menu offering is much limited. Staff are generally friendly but I was turn off by a cook named Ala’a who was attending the egg station during breakfast on 29 October - not only was he slow ( compared to the cook of the previous day - leading to long wait at the station despite less than 30 people in the breakfast place), he was also rude to guests who didn’t really speak English and even told them when they didn’t clearly place their orders- I was observing and it was really bad taste as he scowl at them and this is only coming from a cook at the eggs station - you need mind your customer service ettiquete especially to foreign guests who makes up most of your revenue. The least you can do is smile and not make your guests feel like feel bad about their language when they are ordering their eggs.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Petra visitor center. It is a quiet location which faces over a canyon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. The food was tasty and there was a wide selection. The only suggestion I would have for the hotel is try to make sure that the food items that are in the metal containers are warmer/hot.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful time here! We stayed in an upgraded dome for a romantic holiday and cultural adventure. It was very comfortable and the view was incredible. The domes have large clear windows facing the bed, so you fall asleep and wake with an amazing view of the rocky mountainous landscape. There was heat and AC in each dome, and a nice shower. It was a great blend of luxury and camping. The best part was the friendly staff. They were wonderful throughout the trip, and in particular when we suffered a flat tire 10 km outside of town, we called for help and 2 staff members drove out to help us change our tire. In a blizzard... after we checked out of the hotel even! Then they guided us into town and connected us to a mechanic who patched and refilled the tire. Having that kind of support in a new country brings a great level of comfort. Thanks to everyone at the Seven Wonders Camps!
GGuest UserThe hotel sit atop a hill overlooking the desert hills - a wonderful view, about a 10-min. drive from the Petra visitor center.
All the staff we met, from the security guards, to the bellman, the front desk, the restaurant - were just SUPERB. All of them.
The lobby is inviting and warm, the restaurant is spacious and with lots of sunshine.
Dinner buffet had a very nice variety and decent quality, yet overpriced.
Breakfast had a wonderful variety with good quality.
The room was very clean, and looked like it was built last year - very well maintained.
Although the building looks very new, overall, the hotel is overpriced a bit.
Overall, an excellent choice for Petra.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean and nice view of petra with very friendly owner. The local kitchen is also very nice food, we order lamb mansaf which was perfect!
