Outstanding
The front desk staff Jawad is very helpful and give good guidance on how to walk around Petra . He is very friendly and caring too! He help me to call the bus to go to wadi rum in early morning and wake up early to make sure the bus do come and pick me up. The hotel room is nice, I don’t have any comment on that, but just one thing. During my visit it was Muslim holiday and all night and early morning also have loud prayer sound from the nearby mosques….. can’t really sleep for the whole night …. Yet this is not the hotel problem . The breakfast is wonderful. Have lot of option and delicious too ! In all, I am happy for my stay . Thank you

Very lovely and clean hotel, lots of freebies which makes the stay very pleasant. Only issue is you have to walk and drive up a steep slope to the hotel which can be tiring after a long day.

The location of the hotel is very good. It’s just a few mins walk to the entrance of Petra. You may find the stores and restaurants nearby. The chef is so friendly. He prepared breakfast to us when we came down every morning. The breakfast has little difference every day and the chef was so nice to introduced the food to us.

Good hotel. I was only there for 6 hours. It's really close to Petra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist, Mohammad, helped me tie my head wrap. Decent breakfast with egg bar . Would stay again.

As it happened it was a low season when I visited Petra and I was the only guest in the hotel that day. But the friendly staff looked after me very well and made me breakfast early as I requested. Super friendly staff, great location (5 minute drive to Petra), but on the tip of a hill with stunning views. Room was clean but simple, there is wifi and air condition. For the price I was very happy. My booking required that I pay at the desk rather than on the app so make sure you check.

Grand Mercure Hotel was closed actually. I was trying to contact the hotel but no reply. However trip.com help me out , and found out my booking was transferred to the Mövenpick Hotel. I was so blessed. Great location, just right infront of the Petra Visitor Center. Great breakfast, kind staff. Free minibar. Thank you Accor Hotel group.

There were troubles with reservation and the hotel tender quickly solved and offer the breakfast all over the night reserved for 6 people. Very professional. This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for exceptional value and genuine, personal service. The most outstanding feature of this hotel is without a doubt the owner. He is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and went far out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. He expertly arranged very affordable cab services for all my travel needs and was invaluable in guiding my sightseeing, offering helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced my trip. The hotel itself offers great value for money. A lovely perk is the self-serve coffee and tea service available in the kitchen at any time—a perfect way to start the morning or unwind in the evening.
