Facilities: Very new. It's clear that while hotels are close to the sea, facilities are prone to aging, but this one is very well maintained. Cleanliness: Generally good. There was some hair left by other guests in the bathroom mat and hairdryer drawer. Otherwise, everything was fine. Hopefully, they'll pay attention to the cleanliness of the corners. Environment: Very close to the sea. The panoramic sea view room I booked had a view of the coastline. It's a bit far from the commercial area, so takeout options are limited. However, this shouldn't be a big problem for those driving, as there are many restaurants within a kilometer or two. I highly recommend Qiu Jie and Xincheng restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent service. We booked two rooms and were arranged to be adjacent, which was very convenient for group travel. The staff member with employee number 04 was also very nice. Since it was during a typhoon and we were worried about dining out and getting back, she gave us one free breakfast after we bought two extra breakfasts. She also noted our late check-out. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 I chose this hotel because it's part of the Marriott group, and it's great value for money with excellent management. I recommend it to those driving. It would be even better if the nearby commercial area became more developed and public transportation was readily available.

This time I traveled all the way to Yangjiang. I like the seaside. I got off the train and took a taxi directly to Hailing Island. I chose a hotel near the sea, Yangjiang Guanhua Hotel (Hailing Island Dajiaowan Branch). As soon as I entered the front desk, Xiao Zhou received us and helped us check in. Xiao Zhou's service was very enthusiastic and upgraded to a sea view room for free. The room was large, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The environment was also great. You could see the sea outside the window. It felt very comfortable to live there. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. The hotel is in a Country Garden community real estate. The room is very spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, and there is a large balcony. In addition, it is also very close to the attractions.

Large glass sliding doors to hear the sea.. Beautiful view!!. Large bath. 2 basins. Large cupboard. Large mirror in bathroom and in corridor. 4 chairs. Even a bunk at feet end of bed. Many surfaces to put down things. Wonderful mattress - not too soft but can move up and down... Not a solid inner as most hotels... Very quiet - after CNY, but didn't hear voices at all - only the sea... I would say it should be a 5-star hotel! See hotel got many rewards 2022 and 2023. Draw back: Hot water for bath not clearly indicating, only had to turn it a little bit... No bath mat (towel). Bath outlet leaking on floor. No balcony chairs. Reception staff of evening and morning not very friendly. They did not even thank me for my compliment nor for the draw backs. @

This apartment has kitchen facilities. It is near the sea. Hailing Island is good for local Chinese people, but I will not recommend it to foreigners. The apartment has a nice balance between money and its facilities. Nobody will allow you to park your car anywhere for free, even if there are some empty places. The apartment is clean, and the contact person is very helpful, but the elevator and other side of the building are not clean. There are too many people inside the lobby area. Overall, we do not enjoy our time with our family (foreigners) visiting Hailing Island. The Hailing Island facilities, roads, and local market are not like Sanya Bay, Haitang Bay, Loong Bay (Wuchun, Maoming), or sea beaches in Huizhou. Hailing Island is not like the Tianya-Haijiao scenic area (Sanya). Everything is expansive, with the fewest facilities.

Room Extension Day: Fresh towels have been provided, paper baskets empty, which is not of course for low hotel category. We use the washing machine; after the beach visit, it was necessary because clothes and towels were wet and still fine sand. The three restaurants in the immediate vicinity have all the sea fruits in the offer. The preparation and the sub-offer is similar, the taste is different. You can try and choose. Since the hotel is quite in the middle of the island of Hailing, you can drive in a day southwest with the rented electric roller to explore hotel bourgeoises and beaches, but also higher views, To go northeast next day to visit failed Evergrande property apartments, leisure and hotel cities with huge outdoor facilities, e.g. in fall. However, a spectacular Mangroven Park with adjacent fishing ports is located further north.

The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet. The front desk offered 24-hour service, and the staff were very friendly, answering all questions promptly and resolving issues quickly. Highly recommended!
