My family had a short getaway this weekend staying 2 nights in the Crown hotel, and it was absolutely perfect! Hotel itself is quite classic but the staffs are very bright and friendly. Our room unfortunately had a problem in the first night and I couldn’t sleep well. The next morning “Leo” responded to my complain immediately and gave another room,
and it was not the end. He took attention to us and had us feel really cared for. Thanks for your caring and even the gift for my little daughter! And we were provided late checkout service so could enjoy the beautiful beach just in front of the hotel fully even on the leaving day!! (Thanks Yoyo for that!) It was my best short weekend trip in the last 12 months I trust. Maybe it’s because it’s not a peek season, but anyway my family decided to come to Crwon Hailingdao as often as we could!!

The hotel is in a quieter area on the east side of the island. Check in was fast and easy. Ms Eileen was very nice and made it all pleasant and smooth. The room was large and newly renovated and had a two balconies with a pretty good view of the ocean. The pool on the 32nd floor had an amazing view and did not cost any extra. The beach swimming area is part of a water amusement park so it cost extra (59RMB for the beach and large children's pool) but you can go further down past the hotel to the public free beach but there is no swimming allowed. There are other water activities such as an inflatable obstacle course and kayaks but these also cost extra. The ocean was very nice with lifeguards on duty.
There are many restaurants on a lovely boardwalk and we had some great seafood and bbq. We have stayed at other places on Hailing island and this area would be a great place for families with kids but I would like to see guests at the hotel get a discount for the water activities and beach. We will return again for sure!

I saw many travel experts recommending this hotel, and I also read the reviews of this hotel so I chose this hotel. It has a four-star rating. From the entrance to the room, as well as all the hardware facilities, it is just like the facilities of an apartment, which is not worth the price at all. And the breakfast, how can it be like the facilities of a star hotel? To be honest, it is not even as good as a homestay. I don’t know what the person who installed the washbasin was thinking. How can the faucet be installed like this? Even the light tubes are rusty, and the mirrors are very lame. The experience is so bad!

Very suitable for self-driving accommodation options, about 15 minutes walk from the beach, driving around to the museum, Beiluo Secret Land, Shili Yintan is not far away. The hotel is a high-end homestay in the villa version, the view is very good, the entertainment facilities downstairs are also very suitable for children to play together, ktv is useless, rented full. Although the pool is not big, the children are enough to play in the water, and there are mosquitoes at night. Overall it is still very good. In addition, I recommend the surrounding Jinfan Restaurant. After staying for three days, our family ate three meals. The salted snails were delicious.

Location of the hotel is not in the city centre. There are not much restaurants around. It’s good for vacation and the lake view is fantastic. The reception staffs are friendly and helpful. Thanks for them for upgrading our hotel rooms plus granting us breakfast discount. Breakfast is good. Room is spacious and comfortable. Blankets and pillows are cosy. One room has flushing problem while the door locks aren’t in order in another room, nevertheless these problems were fixed in a timely manner. Although parking is free, however it’s not so convenient as we need to go to the reception for registration before using the car.

This hotel is really great! From the moment I stepped into the door, I felt as comfortable as I was home. The room was clean and tidy. Is it not more comfortable than home? It's like living in a warm nest, I'll come next time! For example, the big bed room I stayed in this time, the bed was so comfortable to sleep! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic and gave me an upgrade to the deluxe room type experience. The room was very spacious and the mattress was a big mousse mattress. I slept very comfortably.
