A great pet-friendly B&B that exceeded expectations. You can tell that it is a B&B that has been put a lot of effort into. The owner and his family are very welcoming and responsive. It is full of green and is a great place to escape Hangzhou. Come to Fangkong. The food is also very delicious. I recommend ”Ye Jiaojiao”. There are also two little chickens that are very friendly. I look forward to bringing my family back for a second visit in the fall.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It's only a two-hour drive from Hangzhou, and it's just as beautiful as Sanya. Everyone on my social media thought I actually went to Sanya! Plus, the hotel even offers free beautiful dresses and accessories. It was overcast when I visited, but it was still stunning.

Two nights, three days – I'd always heard that when it comes to hotels in Qiandao Lake, there's the InterContinental and then there's everything else. This trip really drove that point home. The drive from Wuxi to Qiandao Lake takes four hours. Since the InterContinental occupies its own island, having a car makes getting around much easier. The scenery along the Hangzhou Ring Expressway leading to Qiandao Lake is absolutely stunning, especially once you enter Qiandao Lake itself, with its myriad of winding islands and towering mountains. As soon as you exit the highway, you're practically in the mountains. The InterContinental's flags lining the mountain road gave a real 'welcome home' feeling. Driving with the windows down along the lake, you're enveloped in fresh, oxygen-rich air. Before even entering the hotel, I spotted the lighthouse and the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel lobby entrance is a beautiful photo op, a perfect blend of lake and sky. I stayed in a lake view room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking Qiandao Lake. Add a Qiandao Lake beer, and my mood was instantly uplifted. The floor-to-ceiling windows had a sofa for enjoying the view. The room was spacious and very well-maintained. They even provided a crib for my child, which was reassuring. The toiletries were excellent, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. I'd read many reviews about the dinner, and after trying it myself, I thought it was quite good. While the variety might not be extensive, it was definitely sufficient, and the taste was decent. For breakfast, I'd seen reviews mentioning long queues, but it's really just for registering your room number. Seating was quick, and the food was good. I recommend sitting by the window in the priority seating area, where you can see the infinity pool seamlessly blend with the Qiandao Lake scenery. Swan Lake offers animal feeding, but this area could definitely be improved. There were too few animals, and I suggest increasing the interactivity. The kids' club has different zones, but I think it could be even better. The space is quite large, and with better planning and layout, a more integrated approach could offer more movement options for kids, and improved climbing and ground-level activities. I highly recommend both the infinity pool and the indoor pool. My kids didn't want to leave! The pools have shallow and deep areas, catering to children of all ages. You can also rent or buy swimming gear at the hotel, which is very convenient. The scenery is stunning, and the water quality is excellent. Being a large hotel, it's perfect for an evening stroll, whether to the viewing platform, the lighthouse, or just along the lake – it's very relaxing. Renting an electric tour car for 120/hour is a great way to explore the mountains comfortably in the summer. The hotel offers many activities, such as children's themed events and morning guided hikes. It would be even better if they added more water activities or equipment. It's wonderful to slow down and relax on this tranquil island amidst a busy life. Finally, a special thank you to 'Butler Landy'. Landy's service was impeccable – attentive, thoughtful, and reliably efficient. She responded quickly and resolved any issues. I felt her genuine sincerity throughout, and the service experience was top-notch. If you stay here, you must find her!

First off, the hotel room was very clean, and the bed was huge, 1.35*2 meters. It could be combined, perfect for two adults and two children! The King Koil mattress made for a wonderfully comfortable sleep. The hotel environment is excellent, offering lake views and featuring a large lawn, an outdoor pool, and a super-sized indoor kids' play area. There are also many parent-child activities, like making traditional Chinese medicine sachets and baking bread in a kiln, which were fantastic! Even on a rainy day, we weren't bored staying at the hotel. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful; knowing we had a baby, they provided a bed rail and upgraded us to a lake-view room. The breakfast was plentiful, and both my older and younger kids loved it. The hotel is very close to the Southeast Lake Scenic Area, the Botanical Garden, Tianyu Mountain, and Lan Yue Secret Realm, which is super convenient! The only slight drawback is that the on-site Chinese lunch and dinner could be a little bit better.

It’s a chilly season, but the welcome was so warm! Really enjoyed the excellent, attentive service。 Plentiful hot water, quiet rooms, we got an upgrade ☺️ and the breakfast options are varied and suit most tastes. Do remember to bring a warm layer to breakfast as they often open the patio doors and it gets drafty, and organize your translation, food delivery, and DiDi apps and eSIM - wifi is unstable and the ******* applet on Alipay was unusable. Thankfully the location is great, walkable to the InTime mall and many local food spots and fruit shops. And the views are wonderful - weekend evenings have the downtown buildings light up in displays that beautifully reflect on the lake. The foreigner husband gives it a 4/5, and recommends the hotel to add a fresh-cooked egg/omelet station and to make sure hot food stays hot (the warming pans were usually not on).

The location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

I have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

Opening the window revealed an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, with its clear blue water and scattered islands. Every photo taken was a therapeutic masterpiece. All sorts of toiletries were readily available, and every detail reflected the sophistication of a five-star hotel. What's more, the room's cleanliness was noteworthy – from the floor and desktop to the bedding and bathroom, everything was spotless, even the nooks and crannies were sparkling clean, ensuring the client had a very comfortable and reassuring stay. Beyond the impressive room, the hotel's amenities also earned high praise from the client. In the morning, they enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Milan Western Restaurant, which offered a rich and diverse selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, local Chun'an specialties, fresh fruits, hot porridge, and pastries were all available, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste – a perfect way to start the day. During their leisure time, the client experienced the hotel's wellness hot spring pools. The 7 unique hot spring pools nestled among the pine trees each offered different benefits. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the scenic beauty of Qiandao Lake was utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also boasts a gym, outdoor pool, and cycling trails. For families, the children's playground, pottery studio, and 3D children's cinema are sure to keep the little ones entertained, satisfying the needs of various guests in one go. The service throughout our stay made us truly feel the hotel's dedication. Whether it was the patient answers from the front desk staff, the meticulous attention of the housekeeping team, or the thoughtful guidance from the restaurant and hot spring area attendants, every staff member maintained a professional and enthusiastic attitude. They responded promptly when needed and proactively offered all sorts of thoughtful assistance. The client mentioned that during their stay at Brilliance, they not only experienced the natural beauty of Qiandao Lake but also felt the warmth of being truly at home. As a business booking, this experience far exceeded expectations. Positives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.

It is very close to the high-speed rail station, just a 5-minute walk away! The sanitation is OK, the room is big enough, and the water is also large! It's just close to the roadside and the sound of cars driving back and forth in the morning is a bit noisy, but most people who live here are in a rush to catch the bus, so it doesn't matter! The price and location are advantageous!
