"Arrived at Qiandao Lake Anlan on the afternoon of May 16 after the rain. The fresh air after the rain, the architecture reveals a clear, elegant, simple and ethereal feeling. The Hui-style buildings with white walls and gray tiles are scattered among the green mountains and green waters, just like Mr. Wu Guanzhong's ink painting of Jiangnan. No words can explain its exquisiteness and beauty. The overall style of the hotel is minimalist. Outside every transparent window, there is an intoxicating ink painting. Here, lying on the couch by the window, watching the mountains and lakes or the sunset, you can spend half a day. The bathroom is super large, with a clear pattern, spacious and comfortable, excellent light, and a unique style. The outdoor swimming pool is a good place to punch in and take pictures. The food in the restaurant is mainly local specialties and health-preserving delicacies, which makes people have endless aftertaste. The humanities are the warmest. You must like the butler LEO, contact the itinerary on WeChat in advance, and upgrade the room to a lake view room; the service is professional and thoughtful, and after leaving, they also prepare bread and water on the road and the chef's homemade souvenirs; the photographer Xiao Xu of the travel photography is very professional and very satisfied. The shuttle bus driver, cleaning lady, and restaurant waiter were all very enthusiastic. It was an unforgettable weekend vacation, and I will choose Qiandao Lake Anlan next time."

"It took 8 hours to drive from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake during the Qingming Festival. When I arrived at the hotel, the fatigue was relieved by the warm atmosphere in front of me, and even turned into excitement. The three-day and two-night stay was very good, and the holiday feeling was full. This is a very attentive hotel, with a low-key design and natural beauty (the photos were taken from the hotel). The hardware and ingredients are of high quality, and the subtle and warm service is a plus. I will choose Keren next time."

"A terrific location with amazing hikes and amenities within the resort. Front of house staff are welcoming and eager to assist. The Japanese restaurant is excellent. Servers Grace and Echo are extremely polite and lovely. Avoid the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor as the service and food quality are below standard."

"5/5 Stars amazing. We recently enjoyed a long weekend at Minho International Resort, staying in the Deluxe Family Loft. Our group included myself, my wife, my mother-in-law, and our twin children. From the outset, we were impressed by the hotel's exceptional service and facilities. Accommodation and Cleanliness: The hotel room was immaculate, with everything in perfect working order. The housekeeping staff were attentive and ensured our stay was comfortable. Public areas throughout the resort were also well-maintained and spotless. Family-Friendly Amenities: The children's play area offered a variety of activities, providing ample space for our kids to play and explore. We also took advantage of the bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the surrounding area, thanks to the staff's helpful recommendations. The swimming pool and sauna were clean and well-maintained, adding to our relaxation. Evening Entertainment: A standout feature was the water and light show, which provided a mesmerizing end to our evenings. Concierge Service: Our concierge, 管家小汪, was exceptionally helpful, adding us on WeChat to assist with any issues or translation needs we encountered. Dining and Bar Experience: While our overall experience was outstanding, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The breakfast offerings were often cold and oily, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the bar did not use fresh ingredients for cocktails and featured unusual recipes, such as a mojito without mint. The bar area itself was quite cold and offered limited snack options. Despite these minor issues, our stay at Minho International Resort was exceptional. It's undoubtedly one of the best hotels we've experienced, and we highly recommend it. We look forward to returning to explore more of the surrounding area."

"Great hotel for family with children. All the amenities are of good quality. Only problem is that they close the amenities without prior notice. We used pool and gym everyday. But, last day of our stay we paid for late check out because my little boy wanted to enjoy swimming pool in the daytime before leaving, only to find out later that the pool is closed that day (they did not tell us anything when we went to the swimming pool day before )."

"Our room was a spacious suite featuring two bedrooms and a living room. Upon entering, there was a slight musty smell, and the bedding felt a bit damp, possibly due to its proximity to the lake and pool. We informed the front desk, and they promptly sent housekeeping to change the duvet covers. We then took them to the spacious terrace to air them out for half a day, which significantly improved the situation. The service was impeccable, and the setting was equally superb. The breakfast spread was extensive, and we enjoyed having breakfast and afternoon tea by the lake. A minor drawback was that the room was on the second floor, which made the price relatively more affordable. For our next stay, we'd prefer a higher floor to enjoy a better lake view. The spacious terrace was indeed fantastic. We'll definitely be back."

"Two of my friends and I stayed at the VOCO hotel over the Dragon boat's festival in May-June, 2025. All of us really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were comfortable, and even though they were not lake-view rooms, we could still see the lake from our windows. Two of us cannot speak Chinese, and one of the managers of the hotel, whose name is Leon, took good care of us and helping us to check in and then provided a very comprehensive tour around the hotel showing all the facilities and making bookings for all kinds of activities (kayaking, hot air baloon, photoshoot) and dinners during our stay. I'd like to express my heartfelt thank you to Leon for his very kind help and assistance! The food at the a dinner and breakfast buffets was plentiful and well cooked, as well as the traditional dishes in a Chinese restaurant. Traditionally cooked fish head is a must try! Big up to Leon for recommending it! I can also vouch for all the activities that were provided by the hotel as part of the package with our rooms which included kayaking, a photo shoot and hot air ballooning. i'd like to express my gratification to the team that's arranges and carries out all the activities related to the photoshoot. Everything was really nicely done. We were really excited about this opportunity, and loved the photographs that we received as a result of it. Finally, regarding the facilities, we really enjoyed the open terrace, especially at the sunset time, where we could see beautiful light and clouds over the lake. One of the best facilities is the gym that gives you a wonderful view, as well as the infinity pool, overlooking the lake. Overall, I think the hotel gives you the best value for money in this region, and is a brilliant combination of the great service, very good facilities and additional activities, provided as part of their package. I can highly recommend it!"

"Very satisfied, pleasant scenery, clean room, balcony suitable for watching the sunset. The weather was hot and I didn't have time to go to the swimming pool. The outdoor swimming pool at the high-speed rail station is a great place to go at night. You must try the dim sum buffet in the Chinese restaurant, it's delicious."

"The hotel's name isn't particularly memorable, but I booked a suite for two nights on short notice and was very impressed. The suite is over 100 square meters, offering ample space for two children to crawl around freely. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, and its overall architectural design is quite impressive, with a resort-style layout where buildings artfully encircle a central landscape. The three outdoor swimming pools provide plenty of fun for the kids. The service was surprisingly good. They offer a WeChat concierge service, and the staff at the front desk, Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant, and housekeeping were all very polite and service-oriented. Notably, the front desk service was significantly better than at the Voco hotel where I stayed for the previous two nights. As for areas for improvement, the hotel's facilities feel a bit dated; they are certainly not new. Some exterior walls have climbing vegetation, and a few surface tiles are falling off. From the balcony of our luxury sea view suite, a couple of large trees unfortunately obstruct the view. The landscape design could definitely use an update. Inside the room, the blackout was inadequate, and we had to request technical staff to set up a temporary solution. Furthermore, it's a pity that the hotel's pier is abandoned, despite being in an excellent location. Overall, the hotel boasts an excellent location and a well-designed architectural layout. If the facilities were renovated, the landscaping optimized, and the overall service procedures more systematized, it could easily become one of the leading hotels in Qiandao Lake in terms of overall quality and competitiveness."

"I approached this stay with specific expectations. 1. **Unwelcoming Check-in.** We arrived just after 3 PM and joined the check-in queue. When it was finally our turn, the front desk staff directly informed us that our room wasn't ready and we would have to wait indefinitely. We were told to find something to do to pass the time. We ended up waiting until past 4 PM, and only received our room after multiple follow-ups. They also offered a room without a balcony as an alternative, but with no compensation or explanation. It felt very unaccommodating. We were simply left to wait with no updates. The front desk staff would only tell us to wait, then fall silent and look down, offering no further assistance. 2. **Indifferent and Unresponsive Service.** I had initially anticipated a warm and friendly atmosphere at this hotel, but it was quite the opposite. The overall service felt very cold; staff were unwelcoming, didn't greet guests, and often had stern expressions. It seemed everyone was exhausted (I later understood this was due to understaffing, which I attribute to management, not the hardworking staff). During check-in, I requested a higher floor three separate times, but the staff member showed no reaction, offered no acknowledgment, nor engaged in any conversation. It was incredibly off-putting. Luckily, we were eventually assigned a higher-floor room, so my request was apparently registered. 3. **Questionable Room Cleanliness.** The moment we stepped into the room, we found hair in the electric kettle and on the toilet. The toilet seat had brown stains, and there was noticeable dirt on the bathroom floor. I took pictures of all these issues and reported them to customer service through Trip.com's messaging. The response was that a manager on duty would contact us, but nobody ever did, and there was no follow-up. To be fair, I usually do a quick wipe-down myself, so I easily cleaned the toilet seat stains with alcohol wipes. 4. **Shuttle Service Woes During Morning Peak.** It was inconvenient to get a car/shuttle around 10 AM, during the morning rush. Given the high temperatures and our room's distance from the main building, a shuttle was essential. The front desk phone was engaged for nearly half an hour, and we then waited another half hour for the shuttle to arrive. This again points to a management issue: understaffing, leading to overworked and visibly tired staff handling calls. 5. **Poorly Managed Activities with Lack of Information.** While activities are available, their organization and information were lacking. As this isn't an all-inclusive resort, I took the time to research the free activities. The pool is good. Badminton is limited to four people and four rackets simultaneously, meaning you either need to arrive at the right time or wait. There's only one ping-pong table. The children's trampoline is quite small, more suited for toddlers than older kids who might quickly get bored. In-house guests are meant to be scanned at check-in for access to two mini-programs listing free activities that require booking. However, and this is crucial, many free activities require switching to a 'guest card' mode; a simple scan only registers you as a WeChat member, preventing activity bookings. The staff utterly failed to help us register our in-house guest status, causing us to miss out on booking opportunities. It wasn't until our very last day that I proactively went to the front desk to finally get our guest identity registered (by then, it was too late to be useful). Regarding the six complimentary activities, going in the evening is advisable to avoid the sun. They are all non-motorized and can be a bit tiring; for water-based ones like boating, trying one is usually enough (though feel free to try them all if you enjoy them – don't let them go to waste!). All in all, this hotel fell significantly short of the warm, family-friendly experience I had envisioned. I had even considered paying for a full-day childcare package, but the robotic and indifferent service completely turned me off. I will certainly not be returning. Let me stress again: I firmly believe all these issues are a result of the CM management team's shortcomings, particularly their lack of experienced hotel management professionals. It appears to be mostly young staff trying their best, but there's a significant shortage of manpower, contributing to slow cleaning and missed details. Even the young men driving the shuttle were ferrying guests in scorching heat, and the front desk mentioned they only had three drivers, so I am very sympathetic to their situation."
