Amazing
GGuest UserI highly recommend this place! The service is impeccable, everything is very clean and organized! We loved the view, it’s all very beautiful! Jess and her husband are absolutely kind and friendly! The pizza she made for us was extremely delicious and I forgot to mention the wonderful breakfast! I still have no words to describe the wonderful experience we had in this place! Thank you very much Sky Island 🧡❤️💕
PPrasadThis hotel is spectacular!!! Not enough words can express how beautiful it is. Every staff member made you individually feel welcomed and genuinely looked after. Each person always had a smile and genuinely wanted to help. For example Gina and Alex in the breakfast restaurant Critique were extremely helpful and at your service. Rahul at reception was helpful and explained all the hotel facilities. The maintenance manager was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The lagoon area made you feel as if you were in Bali, Phuket etc. To say it is spectacular is an understatement. For my entire stay, each staff member made my birthday extremely special, memorable and second to none ever experienced before. Thank you all the staff at JW.
GGuest UserOur experience was good. The apartments are well organised and no lengthy check-in process like other places. A bit surprised after paying the amount due weeks before and then being requested for another $500 prior to checking in otherwise the booking can't be guaranteed. Most people take American Express in the accommodation industry and this was also a surprise. Apart from that it was a very pleasant state and we will book it again if we get a good deal.
GGuest UserThis resort is located in a quiet and green golf area so it’s very comfortable. It takes about 15 to 20 mins to anywhere by driving in the Gold Coast area. The resort has literally everything you need (pool, golf course, tennis court and free breakfast for us).
It’s not new premise though and needs some renovations soon. But things are kept generally clean and tidy.
At the price I paid, it’s great value for money. My kids love this place. Will come again.
GGuest UserThere was indeed a bit of a problem with the cleanliness of the rooms and the pool area not being very luxurious - as well as I was surprised by the announcement of noisy construction right next door. However, mine was large and bright (although not the cleanest), the facilities were good and I enjoyed my stay there
GGuest UserI was a bit concerned with booking a lower apartment regarding the noise, but it was awesome, the courtyard was huge, and it had an amazing view I will definitely recommend it to anyone.
GGuest UserWe had a confirmed booking from Trip.com but when we arrived at reception they did not have our booking. It was not Trip’s fault as apparently an intermediate company bungled the booking. The Blues fest was on so everything was booked out for 100km2. Fortunately the very kind manager at the Phoenician miraculously found a 1 br apartment for us and saved the holiday. The hotel is lovely and very central. Cannot fault it but confirm your booking directly with the hotel
GGuest UserRoom very average needs updating vent in bathroom very dirty room needs a good spring clean , service at service desk excellent no complaints with front of house
MMelzza23Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. We booked 3 apartments for a family vacation and all 3 had issues. All 3 apartments had faulty air cons. 1 air con didn’t work at all and also a toilet in that apartment didn’t work either. Also when we arrived, we found one of our carparks had a car parked in it and that 2 other guests were allocated the same Carpark as us. We all contacted the letting company and all guests were told to seek help from the apartment reception who then told us all to contact the letting company as they don’t deal with the private apartments and their carparks. So it was back and forth for hours, we even visited the office twice until the car was finally removed. In terms of the no aircon/ broken toilet room, we were told there was nothing the letting company could do about it as they only have 1 staff member on so we’d have to wait for the next day and that some of our cost would be refunded (We are still waiting). The next day, in the morning the staff member visited and said the aircon is broken and they’ll have to find another room so will get back to us. It was close to the letting company’s closing time and we hadn’t heard back so we followed up only to be told there’s no more rooms available and our family would have to make do with the fans. Our family members in the no aircon room got sick from the heat/ stuffiness even with the doors and windows open. The amenities - lagoon, gym and pool are awesome So it was really unfortunate we did not enjoy our stay due to the lack of upkeep of the apartments and the service.
Jjason_gonewildHighly recommend for short or long stay in GC! A really nice and cute apartment in Surfers with own kitchen, lounge and balcony! Room is spacious and clean! Only thing is the water pressure of the shower is weak and the sauna room is not working. Location is perfect, very convenient, got everything you need around, only 2min walk to the beach!
