Best Mission Viejo Hotels

Ayres Hotels used to have awesome breakfast buffets and quality staff. Breakfast was disappointing. The hotel had one vending machine, which was broken. After accepting $3.00 for a bottle of water, it failed to deliver the bottle. Afterwards, I noticed that there were about 10 bottles at the bottom of the vending machine. The hotel should have had a sign posted saying that the vending machine needed repairs. Even worse was the clerk telling me to email the vending machine company for the $3.00 refund.

The quality of the hotel is very good, the environment is excellent and comfortable, the location is convenient, the service staff is also very good, and the parking space is abundant. It is a good choice for a holiday.

Overall it was good. However, I would have liked it to be written in big letters because I couldn't get it even if I didn't request cleaning. Also, if there was no cleaning to do, it would have been helpful if they could just leave a new towel in a bag.

Feeling cost-effective, although there is no breakfast, but there is Starbucks on the opposite side, there is a Donut shop on the opposite side, in addition to Donut breakfast, there are also burgers, small cafes, and then go up to 7-11, although the opposite is still driving to go it is good. It is on the 5th high speed side, but the double-story windows are not noisy. The swimming pool is very small, bigger than jacuzzi, only play with water. There is a Ralphs supermarket within a 5-minute drive, making shopping easy.

The overall environment is good, cost-effective, booked again for one night.

Hotel was clean for the most part, except under the bed which was absolutely disgusting; but who goes under there anyway?  The front desk staff were nice, so no complaints there, or anywhere except for parking!!  Apparently there is a customer there that is “VIP” (which is what the front desk staff told me) and they are allowed to park their trailer and take up 5 spaces, even though the rest of us paid for our rooms too.  My family and I were here on vacation to Disneyland, so the second day we arrived later in the evening back at the lodge.  I understand we weren’t going to get our original spot, but there was NO parking.  My husband drove the entire lot twice and by pure luck someone had just left, otherwise where would my family and I have parked?  Location is great and the staff were friendly, but this experience alone would never allow me to book here again.

Reasonable price, suite, swimming pool, gym, free parking, clean and sanitary, very good value.

The hotel is in a good location in a quite neighbourhood with easy access. It has beautiful lobby, dinning area and clean rooms. The front desk is very friendly and the breakfast was great. I would stay again when I am in the area.

Service: Because I stayed abroad, there was still a slight difference in language communication, but the service staff quickly solved my problem. Nice service attitude.
