"It can be said that it is a very satisfying hotel experience. You can give 151 points out of 150 points.
First of all, talk about transportation. When I took the railroad to reach Minakami, I went to Japan to buy a traffic card, and I could n’t contact the hotel. So I went to the sightseeing case opposite the station and asked where to call. The staff inside helped me directly to the hotel for them to pick up.
Then inside the hotel, I ordered the room with an open-air bathtub. The space for living alone is very large. I can go to the hot spring whenever I want.
Dinner and breakfast are included in the accommodation fee, it can be said that the price is very high. And dinner and breakfast are very rich, guaranteed to be three pounds out. If it is the hot spring in the collective bathroom, it is recommended to go after dinner, because the room is just next to the collective bathroom, so I heard it very clearly. Everyone concentrated on going in the afternoon. Basically, it was a private booking at 9-10pm.
But of course there are criticisms and derogations, that is, the sound insulation is a bit inadequate. Of course, the speech in the next room cannot be regarded as the hotel's fault.
But overall I am very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommended to go to this small town to experience slow life."
"the room are very new, large, clean and comfortable hotel. i love the private onsen bath tub at the balcony facing the river, it is very relaxing. the daily breakfast was good, we can choose western or japanese set the day before. dinner menu was delicious and nice presentation."
"It was the first hot spring ryokan in Japan, and I enjoyed it successfully."

"It's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage."
"Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style, so it was very good that children could choose what they liked.
It was good that all the foods were easy to eat for vegetarians. Above all, the dishes were very delicious and I told my family that I wanted to go again.
The hot springs were very comfortable and the children were happy.
It was also attractive to be able to take a bath for 24 hours.
I definitely want to go again."
"Worth the price if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food and ryokan experience. Comfy private indoor onsen. The staff are really nice and can communicate in English via good translate. They has a shuttle to Minakami Station when we checked out."
"So many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended."

In this space that feels like everyday life yet extraordinary you can enjoy the quiet flow of time and the nature of the four seasons

"The cospa was the best. It was 2 meals per night and all-you-can-drink at night. This is the second use of this term. I was beaten by the school discount ... (bitter smile). It was a little disappointing that when the parking lot was full and I parked in a remote place, I wonder if I wanted you to guide me a little better."

Very Good
Yyimassistant teamVery recommended, the host is very helpful. There is breakfast and dinner similar to fine dining, delicious food every meal. The room is clean with an onsen as well. And the atmosphere is very good If you come back around here Will stay here again If you come a month with snow, it should be very good.
KKelleyThe inn is beautifully designed and is perhaps one of the most comfortable places I've had the opportunity to stay in. The onsen baths located in this inn are very clean, and they provide all the amenities you'll need for a stay. The hospitality was amazing - from the valet when you arrive to the impeccable service during the meals. The dinner is also very much an experience in and of itself; not to mention how well the wait staff made sure to attend to any of our needs.
In all I would highly recommend Tatsumikan and will be visiting again when I have the chance.
FfrommoonmanTakaragawa Onsen exceeded all expectations. Upon arriving at Jomokogen station, a friendly driver meets you with a sign and drives you comfortably for 25 km. You need to register in advance by sending an email to the hotel. Upon entering, you immediately feel transported to the past: you leave your shoes, choose a yukata robe with an obi, receive socks and special bathing attire, and proceed to your room in a traditional Japanese style (I highly recommend this to fully experience the atmosphere of the place).
When you enter the room, you will likely experience a shock, as it feels like you've stepped into an old movie. I recommend a room with a small balcony in the Main building overlooking the river. Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique.
There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.
MminmonzIt was a short walk away from the Minakami Onsen bus stop and the room was clean. Loved the private onset overlooking the river as well. We didn't have breakfast there as the price was a little steep for us (~27 SGD) but there's a nearby bakery and other F&B, so food was not an issue. They provide PJs and a cardigan to put over as well. Staff was nice too.
AAnonymous UserAlthough it is a long-established hot spring inn, it was moderately renovated and comfortable. I think it is perfect for our 60 couples who are blocked from the outside world to heal the fatigue of work on the day 々. On the day I stayed, there should have been a lot of customers due to the crowded parking lot, but there were no people making noise and I was able to spend a very quiet time. The landlady was also an elegant person and had a good smile.
TTat IThe arrival was late at 5 o'clock, and the dinner time was designated late at 7:30 and was disappointed. However, the buffet meal was delicious. Indoor slippers are better disposable
