View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

The scenery is indeed stunning, but the overall management is a bit disorganized. I successfully booked a five-night stay, but after checking in, the hotel sent me a message telling me that due to a system error, the villa had already been booked for the next three days, so I couldn't check in. I later contacted Ctrip to coordinate, and was I able to check in normally again? Ridiculous 😅 Then there's the room type, which has almost nothing to do with the reference pictures. Although it also has three bedrooms and the view is also very good, the rooms are quite spread out. One bedroom requires walking through a lawn to reach it, which is quite inconvenient. I asked to change rooms, but they refused. That's fine, but I couldn't even upgrade it for an additional fee. I don't understand the logic.

The room has a stunning view. Our 12D villa's living room has a 270-degree glass view, which will make you stay on the sofa and don't want to move. The most worthwhile thing to try is the spa. The three technicians all have good skills. I had it three times during my 5-day stay. It is very cost-effective. The restaurant's food is also very good, but the selection of dishes is a bit limited. But maybe the room is too big, so cleaning it is a bit stressful, not hygienic enough, and the floor is not safe to walk on barefoot. Moreover, it is located in a remote location on the mountain, and it is not very convenient to go anywhere. There are a lot of charcoal bugs on the mountain, which is unavoidable, but it may not be suitable for ladies who are afraid of insects, because they can really get into every hole.

Наверное не имеет смысла на долгий срок (мы были неделю. 3-4 ночи норм. Вилла была подуставшая, в бассейне откололись несколько плиток. В основном на стенках, поэтому особого дискомфорта не доставляло. Как будто бы мало мебели для виллы на 3 спальни в гостинной. Нас было трое и было впритык. 6 человек в гостиной уже не соберутся. Вид супер. Ресторан хороший, но недешевый, даже по сравнению с другими 5* на основе. Кстати в меню рум сервиса цены на те же блюда выше чем в самом ресторане. Впервые такое заметил. Персонал хороший. Пляж неплох, но не для купания, волна накатывает и в прилив и в отлив. Очень много приставал. Можно уехать направо если смотреть на море примерно 25 минут, там хорошие дикие пляжи со спокойной и чистой водой (на фото)

The best therapist and treatment, and of course it was a good time to chit chat and with Ibu Ami a wellness consultant. She was so nice and humble, full experiences.. I like her a lot! Hopefully can come and visit her here! Senja all the best luck!

The best spa I ever had they had super professional therapy and especially the best oil that you cannot found in another spa, their signature.

I had a really good experience with the full body scrub and organic beauty class. All the ingredients used were organic, which felt gentle and refreshing on my skin. The staff were friendly, helpful, and shared useful tips on how to care for our skin naturally. The class was simple, informative, and easy to follow. The view from the spa is beautiful, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing place to stay in Selong Belanak with a wonderful view up to the valley and the beach. The staff is very kind and make his best efforts to satisfy anything you need such as drivers, activities even a doctor if needed. Special “dédicace” to Janu who’s managing all of this with a very high level of professionalism… It’s the forth time I’ve been to the Selong Selo and will come again for sure.
