Barabas Lucerne
"Room is a bit small. Hardly have a space for 2 luggage to open."
Capsule Hotel - Lucerne Old Town
"Amazing for capsule hotel! Everything 5 stars! Next door is Coop City supermarket, buy the cooked food and eat in the hotel, choose from the nice table or sofa. Feel free to use their tableware, comes with free flow or still/hot or sparking water! Just amazing! Their service-top notch! From cleanliness to friendliness, not to mention helpfulness. Just ask them anything, from tour guide to travel tips, recommendations or so on… Capsule is huge, good sound proof. Air ventilation very good. Free locker for you, just need to bring your own padlock. They allowed me to use it before check in and way after check in time. At this price and location, I feel this is definitely a 5 star capsule hotel! Will surely come back!"
Ibis Styles Luzern City
"The room was larger than expected, almost like a two-room suite with a balcony. From the balcony, I could see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The hotel provided complimentary coffee, milk, and water, but there was no kettle in the room."
Hotel Seeburg Luzern
"One of the best and most price-friendly hotels I have ever seen in Switzerland. Spotless facility, breathtaking view facing the Luzern lake, accessible location, good for people like me who prefer tranquility + view. Would definitely revisit if passing by."
Luzern Youth Hostel
"One of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best. Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient. The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong. But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern."
Cascada Boutique Hotel
"Right in the heart of Lucerne! Also, the staff is amazing and that's one of the best hotel showers I've ever been in! Can't take that for granted."
Hotel Beau Séjour Lucerne
"The hotel is in a great location, directly facing the lake and mountain views. But there are also many shortcomings: 1) The room is small, and it is a bit difficult to move with two large pieces of luggage; 2) The breakfast is average, and there is not much to choose from. 3) Luggage handling is a problem, because you can't park at the door of the hotel, and the parking garage is across the road, so you have to drag your luggage yourself. There are two steps from the road to the hotel lobby, and there is no elevator. Of course, the beautiful waitress is very enthusiastic and will help with the luggage. The service attitude of the waiter is very good."
Hotel Rothaus Luzern
"Everything was perfect and to our complete satisfaction. We were offered a free upgrade. Thank you so much!"
Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann Luzern
"The hotel was amazing. Also, it was a 500 year old building with a great maintenance."

The Hotel Lucerne, Autograph Collection
"A mixed bag of thoughts on this hotel so I’ll break it out by category: Location: 5 stars. Hotel is located in a spot that can’t be beat to visit Lucerne. Easily accessible during the day to come back and freshen up and on a quieter side street with many restaurants that feel more for locals than tourists. Loved the location and also very easy walk from train station and to old town. Like less than half a mile. Staff: 5 stars also for the staff who were very friendly and eager to help. Hotel amenities and common spaces: 2 stars. The hotel is a sister property of a renaissance down the street so the gym available is the gym in the renaissance. However, i think an autograph collection needs its own on site fitness situation. Additionally the lobby is nearly nonexistent with just 2 couches. Hallways are very brutalist style feeling with red walls. On site dining/bar: 2 stars. The breakfast was lovely and the staff there were very friendly. No complaints on breakfast. However the lounge/ bar as heavily advertised by Marriott for this site are kind of a fake out. The bar is always empty because it does not allow people who are not hotel guests to visit although it is beautiful and enticing from the outside and draws people in only to be told it’s only for guests. However if you’re a guest it feels awkward to go to the bar because the front desk staff have to make the drinks. There is no bartender and it is not a welcoming area. Room: 3 stars. We got a suite upgrade (we were happy they honored our Marriott titanium status and did this) but the suite was not a suite at all. It was just a larger room (normal sized for American standards.) It had a larger bathroom that included a tub but there was no separate seating area. Otherwise room was clean and maintained with ample storage and a refrigerator and coffee."
Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern
"The Mandarin Oriental once again did not disappoint. It boasts the best location, the most beautiful scenery, and the best service on the shores of Lake Lucerne, bar none. The restaurants are also excellent. I will definitely come back."
Grand Hotel National Luzern
"We booked twin deluxe lake view room, never regret it. Beautiful room Best service Luxury Hotel Love everything"
Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
"The hotel's room rate and service facilities are not commensurate. While the location and scenery are excellent, and the French restaurant is very good, making it one of the better hotels in Lucerne, the room facilities are rather old and basic."
Hotel Monopol Luzern
"location is very good and just next to the Train station, but this hotel room is quite a little bit old without USB charing port"
Hotel Astoria
"The hotel was clean and well-located."
Hotel Luzernerhof
"The lady staff at the reception was horrible. She was being ****** and laughing and giggling. Her customer service was zero. I do not feel it was a 4-star hotel. Its customer service and facilities were like 2-3 star hotels. It was very costly with that service"
Waldstaetterhof Swiss Quality Hotel Lucerne
"Veey good locaton and room size is good. Good service as well. Just that no air-conditioning in the room. Pillow is very soft and flat which I dont like."
Hotel Alpina Luzern
"The location is decent; it's a bit tiring to walk 10 minutes from the train station with luggage. The entrance is easy to miss. Inside, it's generally clean and tidy. In the quadruple room, the toilet and sink are inside the room, while the shower is across the hall, which is a bit inconvenient for showering. The room for four people is a bit cramped, making it impossible to open suitcases, but the bedding is new and clean."
AMERON Luzern Hotel Flora
"There was no electric kettle in the room, and after I replied to their questionnaire in the email, they immediately delivered one to my room the next day. I did not know how to operate the coffee machine. The service man also came to show us how. The safe battery was low, and the safe gave out a beeping sound and blinking light. I informed the reception that night and the service man came the next day to fix it."
Ibis Budget Hotel Luzern City
"Check-in was great, especially thanks to Marco and his colleague at the front desk. However, at checkout when retrieving luggage, a female staff was very rude: I asked her to open the storage room, but she took a phone call and gave no response. After waiting over 10 minutes, and since we had a train to catch, I politely interrupted to ask for our luggage first, but she refused. After the call, she opened the door with a bad attitude and even slammed it after we took our bags. As a loyal Ibis guest, this is my first such experience – truly disappointing."
Boutique Hotel Karl
"Added 23 euros at the counter to upgrade to a room with a balcony facing the river. Bed: The bedding is clean and hygienic, and the white quilt cover has a bumpy feel. It looks very pleasant to cover and is very comfortable. The mattress is firm and supportive, which is our favorite type; Bathroom: relatively large, with wet and dry separation in the shower, and the toilet is clean; Balcony: Go back to the room at night and sit on the balcony for a while, very comfortable and relaxing; Front desk: The service staff is friendly and able to coordinate according to some of our requirements; Overall very satisfied!"
