"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club. I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask."

"I booked a deluxe sea view room and was given a corner sea view room with a fantastic view. The room facilities were standard, but the sea view was absolutely stunning. I joined the hotel's snorkeling activity, which was quite fun. There was also a private island snorkeling trip, but I didn't have enough time to go. I heard there are more fish and a chance to see sea turtles there. Service was just okay. I waited quite a while during check-in, and my luggage didn't arrive in my room for a long time, so I had to go to the front desk to get it myself. I hope they can improve on this point. Overall, it was very good and suitable for a vacation 🏖️"

"First off, I'm a light sleeper, but I wasn't woken up once in the middle of the night here. Maybe it's because I was in a fifth-floor sea-view room. When checking in, you can ask the front desk for a quieter room. The place is very new, the environment is beautiful, and the service is excellent. Coming back to the hotel at night, I even found my clothes neatly folded by the staff – I almost felt embarrassed! I was so anxious after reading reviews on Ctrip and Xiaohongshu saying this hotel was noisy, but choosing the right room really makes a difference. My room on the fifth floor towards the back (2563) wasn't noisy at all. At night, there might occasionally be some cruise ship noise, but it wasn't frequent or loud enough to disturb my sleep. I highly recommend the sea-view rooms. My friend stayed in a mountain-view room and said the chanting was very loud, and they often heard motorbikes and birds in the middle of the night. Checking out, I was genuinely reluctant to leave, it felt a bit like going back to school after a break – sad to leave home but having to go back to the dorm. Plus, the location is super convenient, just a three-minute walk to the pier, and right next to the main street with a whole seafood street."

"My stay at the Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo was absolutely perfect! As an IHG hotel, the quality was reassuringly excellent. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport, and the complimentary airport shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. The pool is definitely a highlight; relaxing by the hotel pool in the afternoon was incredibly enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The breakfast was lavish, offering both local specialties and international dishes. The restaurant and front desk staff were all warm and attentive. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Komodo, highly recommended!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. I think it's the best hotel on Komodo Island. They offer free airport shuttle service. On the day of our arrival, my child probably drank a glass of unclean orange juice and vomited and had diarrhea all over the sofa that night. The hotel picked us up and took us to the hospital early the next morning. When we returned, it was past breakfast time, but after we mentioned it to the staff, they brought breakfast directly to our room. The hotel didn't charge us any extra for any of this, not even a cleaning fee. I can only say that for a room rate of just over 2,000 yuan, we received hotel service worth over 5,000 yuan. The service is even better than the Ritz-Carlton Retreat in Bali. You can go for it without hesitation. Also, the food at that restaurant was pretty good. Although some people complained about the price, honestly, I've never seen cheap food at a five-star hotel. Isn't it all about convenience and comfort? I ordered lamb chops and fish, and both were delicious, especially the lamb chops – they were fantastic and suited to Chinese tastes! The bill came to about 500 RMB, which I think is acceptable. Also, I strongly advise everyone to buy bottled water. Some hotels provide bottled water, while others provide glass bottles. Try to drink less of the glass bottles, and definitely avoid water with ice – who knows what kind of water those ice cubes are made of? "Our original plan was to stay at this hotel, but an unexpected storm caused our boat to be cancelled, preventing us from reaching the island on time. While we were anxious, the hotel's customer service proactively reached out to us. Not only did they express sincere concern, but they also surprisingly arranged complimentary accommodation for us at a partner hotel on the main island until the weather improved and ferry services resumed. Even though we couldn't check in as planned, their handling and service throughout the process were exemplary. They consistently communicated patiently, actively coordinated, and did their best to alleviate our inconvenience and anxiety. This genuine customer-centric approach left a far deeper impression than a smooth check-in ever could. Although the weather left us with a slight regret, it also allowed us to personally experience the hotel's unexpected level of responsibility and attentiveness. This crisis management capability and sincerity alone are enough to make us confident in their service quality. We will definitely find another opportunity to experience the hotel's charms firsthand next time!"

"This is quiet resort situates half an the rock half on the beach with a pier extending into the sea. When you are shown into the resort, you feel you are entering a well designed tropical garden. Our room is facing the beach and the swimming pool. The room is very big and clean with a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The resorts provides butler service and takes good care of all your needs. It also gives two room cleaning and tyding up service every day，one in a daytime one before sleeping. The breakfast and afternoon tea are also Impressive. The fish and lobster are also very fresh and tasty. It is a great experience to stay here."
