Komodo Hotels with Pools

I recently stayed at Seaesta Komodo Hotel for 2 nights. Overall, I had a decent experience, but there are a few things to note. On the positive side, the location is quite convenient and the bed was very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were also polite and helpful. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The shower pressure is low and not enough hot. No slippers and laundry bags are provided. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but some upgrading would greatly improve the guest experience!

Amazing resort, placed in a peaceful place without any noise, only the sound of birds and the monkeys that play and eat in the fruits tree. The staffs is very kind and friendly, ready to satisfy every your needs. Beautiful the restaurant that cook yummy dishes every day for lunch and dinner. Various and generous the breakfast. The room, I took Mountain View with private pool is simply amazing. All forniture are new and the room is wide and in a great position.

An absolutely unforgettable getaway! What a special place this resort is! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Sudamala Seraya and can’t wait to return. It’s truly a little piece of paradise for a relaxing stay. The team at the resort is wonderful and looks after the guests very well. First off, I want to say that the hotel staff and front desk were all incredibly friendly and helpful. A big shout-out to their breakfast take-away service, which is a lifesaver for anyone planning a day trip out to sea! If you know you won't have time for breakfast, you can arrange the take-away service with the front desk in advance. The hotel's breakfast runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, but most day tours to sea leave around 6 AM. I've attached the take-away menu for reference. The hotel itself is very new and super close to the airport, about a 10-minute walk. They also offer airport shuttle service, but remember to email them in advance to book your pick-up. Just a heads-up, avoid emailing on weekends – I did, and the hotel missed my email, so I ended up dragging my heavy suitcase to the hotel, which was a real drag. Also, the rooms don't have openable windows; they have sealed glass floor-to-ceiling windows. This means no smoking in the room, and ventilation isn't the best. Since it's a new hotel, there's still a slight 'new hotel smell,' so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that. However, since I was usually out at sea all day and only in the room at night, I wasn't really 'holed up' in the hotel, so it was perfectly acceptable. I was just happy that everything was new and clean, haha!

The hotel's private beach is definitely the biggest highlight! The views are truly beautiful. The front desk staff and the bellboy were all very polite, enthusiastic, and proactive in offering help. I arrived early, and they assigned me a room with a great sea view, which I really appreciated. However, the restaurant was a major letdown. The breakfast wasn't good, and the service staff were unfriendly and completely lacked any service awareness; they even seemed to be just going through the motions with sour expressions. Dining there made me realize that service really needs to be learned, and that hospitality management is indeed a necessary profession. As for cleanliness, the facilities are a bit old but relatively clean. The towels were definitely worn. Overall, it's a place that will attract visitors primarily because of its beach.

The sheets had stains, but the service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. It's right next to a popular ice cream shop and offers great value for money. Plus, it's directly opposite the boat tours, so you can just wait at the hotel to board.

Overall, this is a unique and memorable accommodation with a beautiful view, a cozy room, and genuinely friendly staff. One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.

It truly has a bay view; the ocean is right from the balcony. The location is a bit off-center uphill, requiring a walk downhill, but it was a fun experience. I must commend the breakfast delivered to my room in the morning! They were very friendly, asking a day in advance if we had Indonesian or American breakfast options. I recommended the American, and the pancakes were a delightful surprise! The delivery staff were all so friendly and smiling. Isn't island life truly blissful?

The hotel environment is excellent. We booked a sea-view room, and there's a beautiful beach right outside. The hotel breakfast was very good, and the lunch and dinner we had at the hotel were also quite delicious.

An excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day. A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests. At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!
