"I booked a Peak View Premium Room, but it turned out to be on the first floor. When I opened the window, all I saw was a wall. I checked, and the sea view room was only a few tens of yuan more expensive, but it was a beach cabin. I really got a raw deal (bloody loss). I arrived at the hotel around 9 am and asked if I could check in early, perhaps at 12 pm, if the room was clean. I was told 'no, no, no,' and that I had to wait until exactly 2 pm. I was waiting for the welcome drink on the beach. The redemption card showed it could be used from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. At 11 am, when I asked, they said the restaurant was being cleaned and I had to wait. My companion and I were lying on the beach chairs, and no one came to offer us even a single towel, yet all the Caucasians on the adjacent chairs had towels. 🤷 My friend also asked how much it would cost to get a ride to the city. They said 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (39 RMB) for a one-way trip. So, they dropped my friend off in the city. When it was time for them to return to the hotel, they couldn't be reached. The hotel kept ignoring messages, leaving them hanging. In the end, with no other option, they had to take a motorcycle taxi in a torrential downpour, speeding back on mountain roads. 👍"

"I had a really enjoyable stay at Loccal Collection Hotel Labuan Bajo. The hotel has a very unique and stylish concept, with architecture and design that stand out compared to typical hotels in the area. The atmosphere feels modern, aesthetic, and relaxing — perfect for a getaway in Labuan Bajo. One of the best parts of the stay was definitely the view. Overlooking the sea and surrounding hills, the scenery from the hotel was beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The pool area and common spaces were also great spots to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I appreciated the overall ambiance of the property, which felt calm and cozy throughout the stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever needed, making the experience even better. The location is also convenient, with easy access to cafés, restaurants, and the harbor area. Overall, Loccal Collection offers a memorable stay experience that combines comfort, good views, and a unique design concept. Definitely one of the more interesting places to stay in Labuan Bajo, and I would happily return again."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the pier, making it super convenient for island hopping. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the staff are young, friendly, and very attentive. I highly recommend the sea view rooms – the large balcony offers breathtaking ocean sunsets. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious food with stunning panoramic views of the pier and surrounding mountains. Dining there at sunset creates an amazing atmosphere! I accidentally left cash behind when checking out, and the hotel proactively helped me wire it back. Their integrity and service are both top-notch. This is my top choice for a trip to Komodo!"

"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Best parts: ocean view rooms have a stunning view, and the balcony was lovely to sit and admire the view. Breakfast buffet was very solid, and the availability of packed breakfast boxes for day trips is very nice. Free airport shuttle was much appreciated. Worst parts: price is quite high for the area and the bathroom especially didn't meet the price expectations. No actual soap/hand soap, shower wasn't super nice, although it was clean. Other notes: it's about a 20-minute walk to the centre of the main strip. Great to be away from the main area and I was happy to walk to and from the main strip as needed, otherwise I guess taxis can be used. The photo attached is the view from a room on the top floor. At time of my stay there are big construction areas around the property but I didn't have any noise inconveniences during my time."

"The hotel is very centrally located, and from my balcony I was able to enjoy an exceptional view of the harbour, accompanied by a stunning sunset that I will never forget. Although the hotel is not particularly new, the service was excellent throughout my stay. Rooms are kept in pristine conditions, and are provided with all amenities you need. At street level there is a convenient minimart with an ATM, as well as a few shops within the same building. The restaurant also offers barbecue options at very reasonable prices. In addition, the swimming pool was remarkably clean and cosy, featuring another spectacular view over the harbour. I only spent one night there, but it is definitely an experience I will always remember."

"Beautiful boutique hotel, attentive staff. The hotel grounds consist of a beautiful green garden with a free form pool that looks out to the sea. Very relaxing to just chill and do nothing by the pool. Spacious rooms and windows look towards the sea for beautiful sunsets. However, breakfast buffet needs improvement taste wise. Although there is variety, it is far from delicious. Tasteless fried rice, noodles, and pastries that a doughey. Even the jam spread provided comes out chunky like a hard jelly. Room shower water pressure is on the weaker side. Hotel is a 20 min walk to tourist street in town, which is ok in bright daylight but a little scary at night as the streetside is dark , quiet and walkway flanked by shrubs and tall grass."

"This hotel has very clear pros and cons. First, the cons: for this price point, the rooms are a bit small. It's also a little noisy due to its proximity to the pier. On the bright side, its location right on the main street is super convenient. The restaurant on the 6th floor offers a lovely sea view while you have breakfast. The breakfast buffet is also pretty good value for money. All drinks in the minibar are complimentary, and they deliver a small dessert to your room daily."

"The only downside was the sound of the Muslim call to prayer. There's a big loudspeaker right next to the house, and it starts playing prayers at 4 AM every day, which really disturbed our sleep. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider. Even if you're a heavy sleeper, it'll still wake you up. However, the location is indeed very convenient, right off the main street, and the service was good. The front desk staff were very friendly and even arranged for early breakfasts for us when we had early morning tours or flights."

"Fantastic location, great views and clean room! My flight got cancelled so i could only check in one day later which they accommodated in terms of timing. I was able to call them through Trip.com and managed to communicate with them quite easily. Room was cleaner than expected! No insects at all, only 2-3 spiders. No hair found on sheets or sofa, no clogged drains, no foul smells. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it is accessible through lift and stairs. Sound wise, i could hear the water and door opening from the next room, nothing else. In the mornings you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and sometimes roosters crowing, pretty nice to wake up to. The sounds aren't loud enough to be disruptive. Aircon seems very new. No old musty smells, very clean and fresh. Hotel staff are responsive and helpful too. Overall, I would stay here again! Rooms are clean and spacious, it's a short 5 min walk to town, a convenient walk to the airport and has a great Italian restraunt next door."
