"Booked the Nautical Suite for a trip with friends, and the overall experience was a mixed bag. Pros: The environment truly exceeded expectations (5/5), creating a great vacation vibe. The facilities and cleanliness were also quite good. Cons: The service attitude and hidden fees were very frustrating (only 3/5)! On the first night, we found a cockroach in our room. After reporting it to the hotel, we were moved to a different room, but then the hotel tried to charge us a 'cleaning fee'! It's completely unreasonable to make guests pay for a room change caused by their own hygiene issues. Additionally, I clearly booked an **all-inclusive** package, yet I was still charged extra taxes separately, making the fees extremely opaque. Summary: The hotel's hardware and environment are indeed good, but if you want a hassle-free vacation, be prepared to deal with potentially unreasonable charges."

"The biggest issue was having to take cold showers because the hot water heater kept tripping on high temp. Maintenance would just reset it until it tripped again. It required entry into another unit to repair. I finally complained loudly enough after about day 3 that the permanent repair occurred. Beyond that, the bed was extremely firm... like sleeping on a concrete floor, really. Will not return."

"The room is relatively old, it is a suite, very large, with a kitchen and double balcony. The building we stayed in did not have an elevator. The hotel is next to Sandos and Waldorf, and there is a small cape. You can watch the sunset in the evening. If you are lucky, you can also see whales on the hotel beach. It is very cost-effective."

"This is an interesting resort. The location is a fair bit off the main road making it really peaceful. The resort is built on a cliff which means multiple levels of building. The pool was ok but needs a bit of renovation. You can’t swim in the ocean as there are many rocks and hence dangerous. It’s good for couple of nights but personally I wouldn’t want to stay more than that. Like all the resorts in the area everything is pricey and they have a captive audience!"

I particularly want to commend the smooth booking process through Trip.com. Other friends who booked through different websites encountered minor issues during check-in, but ours was completely seamless. Thank you! I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Cabo."

"Excellent experience at Paradisus. The resort is a 20-25 minute car ride from the airport and is located in a beautiful and peaceful location. Staff members were super friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The food at Paradisus was decent, the Mexican restaurant was our favourite and would definitely recommend eating a few meals there. One thing to note is the daily activities schedule, there are tons of different activities scheduled daily on a weekly basis so make sure to keep an eye out for those. Overall, we had an amazing time staying at Paradisus, and would definitely recommend this resort!"

"Overall, my experience was positive. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast, while not offering a wide variety, was simple but tasty, perfect for starting the day. The customer service was excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and always available to meet my needs, which really added to the quality of my stay. In addition, the view from the rooftop was simply magnificent, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The elevator is also a plus, especially after a long day of walking. It's really convenient to be able to access your room easily when you're tired. The hotel's location is also perfect; it's close to everything, making it easy to quickly discover local attractions without having to travel too far. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The electrical outlets didn't always work properly, which was a bit frustrating, and the soundproofing in the rooms leaves something to be desired. I could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms, which slightly affected my comfort. Overall, if you're looking for a conveniently located place with impeccable service in Los Cabos, the Colmena Marina Hotel is a good option!"
