"I had the opportunity to go to Longyou and stayed at Longyou New International Hotel for one night. Although the hotel is slightly outdated from the appearance and internal facilities of the building, there are still commendable aspects to the reception and service standards. "I booked a tea garden room specifically because the garden is right outside, perfect for taking photos if the weather is cool. The booking also includes bicycles and town entrance tickets, but it was too hot to use them. The hotel service is excellent; there's no need to worry about getting a taxi. They offer a shuttle service to the station; just make sure to book a day in advance. Last night, I encountered a large mosquito net, and even though it was late, the front desk lady came to bring me mosquito coils. The duty manager was also amazing. A must-try for anyone visiting Longyou."

"Staff didn’t know correct details about foreigner visas. This can be easily remedied. No toothbrush or toothpaste in room but apart from that the room was great. The breakfast was good but not really half western which makes sense as I don’t think many westerners go there. The main problem was the noise on a night. There were semi-professional boxer teenagers practising their fighting right outside my room at 11pm. I had to go down to reception to tell the person there as they have zero English skills over the telephone. He didn’t seem that bothered. Not same five star as Shanghai but it makes sense as it’s the countryside. I enjoyed staying there but definitely need to make some improvements."

"We drove here, and there was a parking lot at the door. It was very close and convenient to the B&B. Butler Wang was very friendly and took us to the room personally. Our needs were also responded to promptly. There is a large swimming pool in the B&B, and the water was changed on the day we checked in. The children had a lot of fun.
